Tranquil

We loved the tranquility of the location & how easy it was to communicate with Lesley who was on hand but left us to enjoy the quiet. We visited Bournemouth & Sailsbury just 30 minutes away. Loved the bath, the very comfy bed & comfy sofa where we enjoyed watching TV in the evening. Would recommend.

Beautiful

An amazing cabin , lovely hosts who even left a basket of goodies for us to enjoy. I loved the bath , bed was super comfy . A great location , Would definitely recommend a stay here , I will definitely return !!

Sleepy Hollow Escape

This charming peaceful beautifully appointed private cottage was enhanced by the beautiful forest at its doorstep(virtually) and its environment complete with a pub within a leisurely stroll up a lane. The hosts were extremely accommodating and so helpful. Both Lesley and Mick went beyond our expectations. The one regret we had was that our stay was not long enough. We hope to return one day!

A seamless experience in a beautiful place

The host met us right at the door and the check in process was seamless. There was also a key safe right outside the property, which made it easy enough to check out. The hosts were super laid back and more than happy to accommodate every need. The cabin itself was absolutely amazing! The facilities, design, and comfort could not be faulted. It had EVERYTHING you would need including a full equipped kitchen, information folder, and all the added extras. The views were incredible and we particularly enjoyed the forest being right on our doorstep. If you’re looking for a relaxing break to reenergise in a wonderful nature haven, I would strongly recommend. Would definitely return in the spring!

Comfortable in every way

Our hosts were very kind and friendly. The cabin is comfortable, from the sofa with massive foot rest (loved it!) to the wonderful bed. The room-darkening shades meant we slept until rested, but then had light streaming in from numerous windows. The back had a nice garden with lawn chairs, perfect for reading or sunning oneself. As well, a gate to a path for exploring the forest close to home. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. I recommend it highly, and would stay again.

Cabin by the woods

What a fantastic cabin in a beautiful location. The pictures really don’t do justice to how spacious the cabin is. The attention to detail that Lesley and Mick have put in to making your holiday or short break a wonderful experience is fantastic. It’s a great location on the Dorst side of the Dorset Hampshire border, ideal to explore all the area has to offer.

Charming Cabin near New Forest

Lesley and Mick are wonderful hosts and take great pride in their cabin, the size, decor and amenities were spot on, just as described. We come to Alderholt from time to time and the location couldn't be better for our visit. We will come back again. Next door to Churchill Arms Pub and walkable to a well stocked co-op. Very quiet, secluded location, plenty of privacy, a lovely garden. Perfect for 2 adults, but I noticed a cabinet with kids toys so a small family could also be accommodated. As we are travelling from the US the security gate is phone activated so I think mobile service is required.

A beautiful oasis of calm, relaxing and a perfect getaway.

From the moment entering to our departure, our stay was peaceful, comfy and our hosts were more than welcoming, even squeezed an extra night (big thank you for allowing that) in because of how wonderful our stay was. Will definitely be returning when time allows!

Perfect cabin in the countryside. Stunning views from the cabin. Everything you need is there, clean and tidy to perfection. Plenty in local area to do and explore. Loads of info from hosts who were always available for help if needed. Will definitely be booking again soon!

Stunning cosy cabin.

Our break was lovely & peaceful, the cabin was absolutely fantastic. We really couldn't have asked for anything more, the thoughtful gift of nibbles & wine were a good little bonus. The hosts have outdone themselves with the decor & details. Enjoyed having a relaxing bath with plenty of room. Definitely looking to staying again.

such a beautiful cabin, decorated so nicely & stocked up with everything you’ll ever need! the location was really fantastic too, we visited the local pub and town, the coop is super convenient too. overall a wonderful place, will definitely visit again :)
