Charmigt 2 sovrum / 2 badhus och ett sovrum / en badstuga pÄ floden North Fork Guadalupe. Varje sovrum har en queen size-sÀng och med bÄda boende kan sova totalt sex. Denna fastighet har enastÄende utsikt frÄn bÄde huset och kabinen mot otroliga bluffar och den glittrande Guadalupe-floden. Njut av enastÄende privat flod som rymmer avkopplande rör, fiske, simning, kajakpaddling, rep swinging eller helt enkelt flytande i klart djupt vatten bara miles frÄn headwaters. Du och din familj kan njuta av fantastisk fÄgelskÄdning frÄn antingen verandaen (vÀnta bara tills du ser kungsfiskarna och mÄlade buntings!), samt roligt utomhusmatsal med picknickbord och grill pÄ huset och floden.

City Escape

Too much good to put into words. Dana the owner has a fabulous place, so go there and experience it for yourself--you wont' be disappointed--except for the fact that it's not yours! Will definitely be back.

Never disappointed

This was our 5th year in a row. Yep FIVE. There aren’t enough words to convey how much we love coming here. It’s just perfect! The home has everything needed and the riverfront is stunning. Dana is an exquisite hostess and we cannot wait for Year 6!!!!! We’ve made several great memories and looking forward to more. ❀❀❀❀

Best river house/location

Dana and Bruce were great! The property was as described, we absolutely loved the location and spent the entire time on the river. Water level was great and very quite which was fabulous!! We loved watching the birds the house had everything you would ever need!! We are already booked for another stay!

Relax on the river

We were welcomed in the house by soothing music and fresh flowers. It immediately makes you take a deep relaxing breath. The property is lovely, with a charming house and cottage. The riverfront is stunningly beautiful. It has everything you need. Sat on the front porch and watched the fireflies in the evening. It doesn’t get much better.

Paradise

The property is absolutely serene bliss. The house and cabin are spacious and stocked with everything we could have needed. We enjoyed the front porch and the river access the most. If you need a quiet place to relax and recharge, this is without a doubt the place to be. Dana was very accommodating for our last minute requests. We will definitely book this spot a few times a year.

Beautiful, relaxing property by the river

We had a wonderful time with friends. The Guadalupe river is just across the road from the house and was perfect for relaxing and enjoying some floating time on the water. During the hot afternoon, we enjoyed playing cards in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies to prepare meals. Dana was a gracious host!

Our 4th stay in Hunt

As always, Dana is an excellent host! Our family has enjoyed her home for 4 summers and it's always wonderful to get away to such a beautiful and peaceful location. The house is comfortable and the river is spectacular, we stay down there ALL day and into the evening.. She does have THE BEST spot in the HIll Country! Thanks sooo much Dana!

Perfect Guadalupe retreat

This is the perfect Guadalupe retreat. Private waterfront access to a premier section of river with a deep swimming hole, cliffs, paddle boat, and dam / water park. The house, cabin and overall accommodations are clearly well loved and cared for, and the level of thoughtfulness to their guests are above and beyond. Unlike most rental properties, this place is fully stocked with lots of extra touches. Highly highly recommend!

Great Place to Relax!

We picked up our kids at camp and spent weekend here. The place is excellent, very comfortable & clean. Great private river access and a wonderful waterfront area. Very relaxing get away for the whole family. Highly recommend staying at this property. Owner is very nice and make sure that you have everything to make it comfortable.

Another lovely visit

This was my family’s second visit to Dana’s property and we brought along some friends this time. It is SO wonderful!! We all enjoyed the beautiful scenery and had a fantastic time swimming, floating, and paddle boating around all day. The house and cabin again had everything we needed for a great stay and they were both super cozy and clean. I can’t wait to come back again to this special place.

Everything you could hope for and more!

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful this rental is. The pictures and descriptions are 100% accurate. The location is fantastic, the river is peaceful and relaxing. Dana made sure every detail was covered. We did not want for anything. Communication was great. 100% recommend!

Great location, cozy house

Amazing location by the Guadalupe River (flowing by some very pretty cliffs). We enjoyed trips to several nearby state parks and reserves (all 45-60 minute drive), Kerrville, and Fredericksburg. Communication with the owner was easy and the house was clean, cozy, and welcoming.

Great Thanksgiving Holiday

Great Location & Accomodations

The main house and cabin provided three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which were perfect for three couples to spend the weekend. The private river access was amazing and we spent most of our days and evenings on the bank. Our three couples have met for a weekend in October for 10 years; this was the first VRBO location to which our group said they would like to return.

Lovely lovely lovely

Dana’s place is so wonderful! The house is super cute and comfortable and has everything you need. The fresh flowers were such a nice touch! The river frontage can’t be beat. The views are stunning, water is clear and cool, and the dock and lawn are awesome. We had so much fun swimming, floating, using the paddle boat, fishing, and watching wildlife with our young son. Our trip was everything we hoped and more, and we can’t wait to return!

Marvelous!

Had a marvelous time at this rental and in the Texas Hill Country. The house, cabin, and riverside are even better in person than in the pictures. Despite going in August, the weather was fantastic. The water in the Guadeloupe River was super clear and about 8 feet deep with lots of fish. The water is perfect for swimming, floating, and kayaking. Spent most of our time down by the river. The home is comfortable and was well stocked. The property manager was very responsive to any questions that I had. She made us feel welcome by leaving fresh flowers and greetings. We drank coffee every morning on the porch and watched the birds and deer in the front yard. This is the place to go if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. I would definitely recommend this rental and intend on returning.

Our sibling gathering at Dana’s place was epic. Location on the river is a dream as is her cozy and well appointed home. Our hostess went above and beyond to make our time there perfect. We absolutely recommend this heaven in Hunt!

As a former Waldemar camper, I knew as of the age of thirteen that Hunt, TX is where I would land. We are very blessed to have the most beautiful spot on the North Fork Guadalupe and nothing brings us more joy than to share it with other families and couples.

The best deep and clear river access in Hunt! Unlike the South Fork, this part of the North Fork Guadalupe is crystal clear. Fantastic fishing (catch and release), swimming, and floating.
