A ground floor one bedroom apartment with a balcony in the heart of Bowness just a short walk from Lake Windermere.. 2 steps to entrance.

All on the Ground Floor:

Living room: 32" Freeview TV, Patio Doors Leading To Balcony

Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Balcony. Public car park; additional on road parking nearby. No smoking.. The Stable View is located in the heart of the beautiful Bowness on Windermere which has a superb selection of shops, restaurants and bars. This ground floor apartment is within a stone built house and offers guests a great level of comfort throughout. There is a living area with patio doors that lead to a private balcony which offers superb views, the kitchen is well-equipped and is open plan with a dining area, there is a double bedroom and a bathroom. This is a perfect location to explore this stunning location within the heart of the Lake District, and the Beatrix Potter Museum is just a short stroll away, or why not jump on a Windermere steamer boat a have a tour of the lake, then a wander through the streets of the beautiful town of Windermere. Shops 1 mile, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

Lovely little place and ideal location.

Lovely little place and ideal location. However, as previously stated in other reviews the bed could really do with replacing. Would definitely return if this was replaced.

Lovely wee flat clean great for shops pubs restaurant on the doorstep I liked everything about it nice quiet place had everything I needed for my stay for the week would book again if staying in the area again

Great location

While it was a great location. The lack of parking at the property was disappointing as other units in the complex had parking but none for our unit.There was no sound proofing from the unit above.As we were there for a week a washing machine would have been useful- no extra towels or linen availble.

Stay was amazing loved every minute . Lost key code when we first arrived called VRBO They just were not interested in helping told me the would call back didn’t happen luckily found code or we would have still been waiting

Cute apartment

The apartment is very small but nicely decorated and clean. The walls are thin so you can hear everything from the neighbours! The apartment is centrally located for easy access to Windermere but there is no parking at the property. The nearest all day parking is a 10 min walk away and cost £20 for 3 days, which as car parks go is quite reasonable.

Considering you can check in until 16:00 and your expected to check out at 10:00 (both of which are very un generous) you are expected to empty all your own bins and strip the bedding

Central location fully equipped Only one problem main bedroom light not working Only a very dim lamp struggled to put make up on and do hair after mid afternoon Contacted agent straight after we got in to see if someone could come out and replace it NO JOY

My Lakeside experience

Room was located in lovely area easy access to resturants and shops and just a short walk to the lake, only issue was PARKING other than that it was a lovely stay.
