Superb modern home, uniquely benefiting from having the University, the Old Course, and the town’s shops and cafes within a short 5-10 min walk, yet having the convenience of dedicated indoor parking. The bright apartment has 5 sets of Juliet balconies overlooking the park and the picturesque Lade Braes walk.

Parkview sits in a tranquil location with easy parking via remotely operated doors and easy access to a small exclusive development with stair or lift access to the first floor apartment. The south facing contemporary apartment is light and spacious with floor to ceiling windows throughout the living area and both bedrooms. Parkview has been completely renovated with new luxury furniture and all the latest high tech gadgets - superfast unlimited fibre broadband WIFI, 2 smart 4K ultra HD TV's with Netflix, Amazon Prime etc, Alexa voice activated music via Echo speaker - as well as all the necessities; washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, hairdryer.

The property has an open plan kitchen dining and living area with a contemporary fire providing the focal point and the south facing wall being framed with 3 double floor to ceiling sets of doors opening out to the park. The marble dining table and Dalton leather seating provides comfortable dining for 4 and 5 with a squeeze!

The living area is furnished with a blend of Arne Jacobsen inspired individual seating and modern leather sofas.

The property has 2 bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and the other can be set up as twin or super kingsize. There are two deluxe bathrooms, one ensuite with a large shower while the second offers both shower or bath options. A comfortable fold out bed is available to provide sleeping for a fifth guest. Luxury Egyptian toweling and fine bedding is provided throughout.

The owners` 2 bicycles are available for use to allow guests to explore the town including a new mountain e-bike to provide a boost should you decide to venture further afield to discover the wider area.

A wee selection of Malt Whiskies is also available to hopefully help finish off a perfect day in historic St Andrews!

This property is relatively new to the market, however the family has another gem in the heart of St Andrews, standrewsbolthole.com, which has been a tremendous success with all guests awarding 5 star reviews!

Everything exceeded our expectations. The location was great and the condo was fabulous. Be careful to carefully follow check-in instructions provided. It’s a little tricky getting in the first time and Apple Maps took us to an alley that was a little trick to navigate.

VRBO was exactly as advertised; clean, spacious, safe and great location! Walkable to everything Host had detailed instructions for check in and out; Host was timely and responsive in communications Being from the US it was definitely a challenge to adapt to different cultural things but a minor adjustment
didn’t know about heating towel racks, windows are different on home here (as far as opening), showers turn on/off and water temp. Different; we drove a car and wow that was a major shock! Of course driving on different side of car and road but also the roundabouts and lack of signage for streets was difficult; had a little bit of trouble finding VRBO but a lovely couple helped us navigate. Thanks to the host for a great visit!

The condo was excellent. It was clean, well furnished, and a great location. Adam was very communicative and addressed all of our questions. Everything worked well and we had no concerns while we were there, so we did not need to contact him during our stay. The condo was perfect for us as it was easy to access and close to much of what we wanted to do in St. Andrews. We will certainly want to saty here again when we return to St. Andrews.

Great base camp for golfers

The location was walking distance to The Old Coarse and restaurants. The property was exceptional. All the furnishings were first class. Beds and linens comfy. Shower wonderful. I will book this place on my next trip.

Visiting our son at university and enjoying St Andrews

Top notch in all aspects from the park views to kitchen and bathrooms to location and hospitality. Peaceful with birds and flowering trees but just a short walk to downtown. Our family will be visiting again and booking this apartment without a doubt.

This property is fantastic! Location is an easy, lovely walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. Inside was pristine and very well appointed. The owner provided us with detailed and helpful instructions which were especially handy when travelling from abroad. If I could give 10 stars I would! Our family purchased an apartment called the Bolthole in the heart of St Andrews several years back for use by all the family and to share with visitors to the town. It has been a great success (standrewsbolthole.com) as the reviews will testify.

When we saw this unique second property for sale, which had the benefit of both central location to ensure St Andrews could be explored by foot but also the convenience of dedicated parking, we couldn't resist.

This property is now run and managed independently by our son Adam.

We try to offer maximum flexibility with arrival/departure - a small key store is located outside allowing access to the keys at your convenience.

Adam stays a little over an hour away in Edinburgh.

All going smoothly, everything in the property should be self explanatory or contained in the information booklet. However, should there be any queries or problems we can be contacted 24 hrs a day and there is a lady in St Andrews available on call to sort out any problems requiring immediate assistance.

Our family and guests enjoy the property because of its close proximity to the heart of St Andrews but yet with its own dedicated parking combined with the benefits of being both modern and luxurious.

The property has all the latest technology - high speed fibre broadband, 4G HDR Ultra TV with Netflix, Amazon, Voice activated sound system and fully equipped kitchen. But the real special feature of the property is the bright sunny south facing aspect flooding the property with open views of the park and immediate access to the historic Lade Brae walk - these can be enjoyed on foot or by borrowing the owners 2 bikes, including a modern e-bike to help you up the hills! The quality of the finish testifies to this being our own family get-away rather than a stark commercial economic proposition.
