Laughin Place tillåter dig att spendera mindre av din dyrbara familj och semester tid att köra och spendera mer familj och semester tid att göra saker som betyder något. Mitt i allt, med enkel tillgång till motorvägar och attraktioner, är The Laughin 'Place en mil hög och är och nästan omgiven av både den fantastiska Custer State Park och den spektakulära Black Hills National Forest. Båda erbjuder dig enkel tillgång till hundratals tunnland vandring, djurövervakning och utforska. Så nära till allt, men ändå så privat.

Vår stuga är i tre nivå hem, mycket lätt och bekvämt. Mycket av det är färdigt i knutig tall med en höjd skiffer skorsten. Köket är uppdaterat med hickory-skåp, kylskåp sida vid sida och glasskiva. Vi har alla bekvämligheter du kan förvänta dig hemma. Loftet vetter ut mot vardagsrummet nedan och har en dörr som leder till sitt eget privata utomhusdäck. Den lägre nivån har en imponerande skiffervägg, en våt bar och går ut till vår frodiga trädgård.

Sovrummet på bottenvåningen har en king size-säng TempurPedic. Loftet har två enkelsängar och även en dagssäng med en rulla om du behöver det. Det nedre sovrummet har en queen size-säng och även en futon om så önskas. Den nedre nivån har en utdragbar soffa i full storlek.

Våra expansiva däck tillåter en person eller två att koppla av med en lugn kopp kaffe i morgonsolen. Senare kan du se kvällskuggorna falla och återuppleva din dag med vänner och familj runt propanbrännbordet.

Laughin 'Place är idealiskt beläget för dina Black Hills semesterplaner. Custer State Park ligger bokstavligen ett stenkast. Custer City är en snabb resa med bil eller en enkel cykeltur, som kommer och går. Utomhusskön bugar i alla riktningar. Cykling, vandring, fiske, kajakpaddling, springa och utforska.

Perfect getaway spot

Beautiful house and surroundings, owners were prompt to respond and felt like home. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone wishing to visit the area. Perfect location for all the surroundings areas. Nice and quiet location. layout of house was perfect for out group of 5 adults and 3 kids plenty of room to move around. Kids loved watching the deer and playing games

Couldn’t be more conveniently located for morning and evening wildlife cruises in Custer State Park. Stargazing decks. Minimal traffic, well stocked, large and tasteful home. Friendly Custer City just the right distance away and real history, not the boring kind.

Miracle in South Dakota

This property managed to WOW 3 generations of our family (including 2 initially resistant teens). THEN, we explored all the amazingly close lakes, mountains, trails, wildlife, towns, and historic Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Thank you for blessing our family with your incredible vacation home!

Nice and Quiet yet close to all activities

We always stay in the Custer area and this cabin will not disappoint. After a busy day riding the motorcycle we couldn’t believe how peaceful the surroundings were. The owners were easy to communicate with even though we really didn’t need to. Everything was explained as shown. Disappointed we couldn’t build a fire but the outside gas fire table worked great. This cabin would be great for families.

Great Home to Enjoy!

The home did live up to its name The Amazing Cabin. We arrived and everything was as described in the listing. The house was clean and well stocked. It was centrally located to all the things we wanted to do and see. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Sylvan Lake, the Wildlife Loop and many more. The owners were helpful with any and all of our questions. My wife and I had a great time and would recommend this home.

Family getaway

Wonderful property. We had a friendly deer visit every morning which made by 5yr olds day. Enough space for the other couple to have their privacy. So many extras included that we didn't know. Only thing I wish was they had was a highchair for my infant so I didn't have to haul mine all the way there. Literally right across from Custer State Park boundaries. Take the back gravels to see so many wild things. Such a beautiful place. We will be back!

Wedding in Custer

Wonderful place to stay. It was perfectly situated to where all our ventures were. Our daughter was in a wedding in Custer State park and it was a was a nice drive to and from the wedding venue. This VRBO was peaceful, quiet, and comfortable. The setting was great with all the comforts of home.

Beautiful home in the perfect location for exploring the Black Hills!

We had a great time and enjoyed the area. Location is close to all of the Black Hills attraction. The hosts made sure we had everything we would need for our stay. Great Location, but Communication with Property Owner was unpleasant

My husband, family, and friends enjoyed ourselves greatly until the very end. The location of this property was a perfect get-a-away. We spent most of our time outdoors, however, our children enjoyed playing games and spending time with family on the property. We started noticing items such as appliances such as the washing machine and coffee machine were broken. Then, we discovered under the blankets on the banister- every single column was not connected to the main banister. They easily fell apart after the blankets were removed by our children. Several attempts were made to reconnect the falling columns, but it was not something I felt I needed to fix. This could have been a dangerous situation if we had a toddler traveling with us. I contacted the owner about the broken appliances and the columns, but the owner later accused me of breaking his staircase after we left and were driving back to our home. I am horrified by the way the owner treated me and after I was trying to establish a positive relationship with hopes of staying again. I do not recommend this property-- not because of his home, even though he should have disclosed his items were broken, especially the staircase. I have saved the text messages and would be happy to share the poor exchanges between myself and the property owner.

We're family people, professionals who were born in South Dakota and still live and work here. We've spent a lot of our family time in the Black Hills over the years and so very many of our family memories have "the Hills" in the background.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The Laughin' Place wasn't easy to find. We looked for years to find a cabin property which is in the middle of everything and still just a bit out of the way. Our place is a great base for a Black Hills adventure, no matter how many days. We have a place which is so close to everything yet still so private. With the Park on two sides and the Forest on a third, no one will be seeing many human neighbors from our windows and decks. Trees, rocks, hills, flowers, grass, deer, turkeys, foxes, chipmunks and more.

Our place is close to town without feeling like it, really at all. Easy to get in and out and onto the highway system for your day trips around the Black Hills. Fun to use a back entrance into the park as well. You'll be finding the places that others don't see on their trips.
