This private 4 bedroom, air conditioned villa with free Wi-Fi is situated near to the famous beach of Praia Dona Ana and the Ponte de Piedade lighthouse has been tastefully and comfortably furnished throughout. It is in the perfect location for a family holiday in Portugal.

Casa Farol is a lovely airy and spacious villa in a great location. On the ground level of the villa there is the open plan lounge and dining room with satellite TV, with BBC and ITV channels, for sports lovers there are also UK Sports channels and a play station 2 for the kids (bring your own games), there are patio doors from the living area opening out to the covered swimming pool terrace.

The modern fully fitted kitchen offers washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and all the usual kitchen utensils, there is a back door from the kitchen which leads out to the back of the villa where the built in BBQ and ping pong table are situated. There is also a downstairs cloakroom in the entrance hall to the villa.

There is one double bedroom downstairs with sliding doors out to the pool area, and a full bathroom just across the hall. On the first floor there are two twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and sliding doors out to a shared terrace both the twin bedrooms share a full bathroom in the hall and a master bedroom has a king size bed with a dressing area and full en-suite bathroom. Patio doors from the Master suite lead out onto a balcony that overlooks the pool area and you can see the lighthouse at Ponte de Piedade in the distance.

The free form swimming pool is surrounded with sunbathing terraces equipped with 8 sun-beds. There is a covered terrace off from the lounge overlooking the swimming pool equipped with outdoor dining furniture for al fresco dining and there is a built in BBQ to the side of the villa off from the kitchen and an outside ping pong table at the back of the villa (pool size 10 x 5 meters, pool heating is available for a small extra charge)

The villa is situated at Ponta da Piedade and near Praia Camilo and Dona Ana beaches some of Lagos most beautiful coves and located within a short walk of the famous limestone cliffs.

Nearby offers a small variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, a 20-25 minute walk and you are in the centre of the historic town of Lagos with its cobbled sidewalks and colourful market square, offering a larger variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping and markets. The longer expansive golden sandy beach of Porta da Mos is only a 15 minute walk, longer on the way back up the hill, with a variety of water sports activities available. Palmares, Boa Vista and Penina Golf Courses are a 10 to 20 minute drive away. For the children there are a variety of water parks and theme parks within a 30 minute drive.

Nearest restaurant: The family friendly, very reasonably priced restaurant Algarfo is 10 minutes a way by foot. Alternatively take a walk to Restaurante O'Camilo with amazing views over the beautiful beach the restaurant is named after.

Nearest beach: Praia da Porto do Mos is a 10 minute walk, there are 2 lovely restaurants on the beach, great for children.
