This 2 bed 2 bath condo was lovely and very spacious. The condo itself was nicer than the pics depicted but the rooftop pool not as nice as it looked in the pics - smaller than expected and needs some TLC but a welcome respite from the heat. Managed by Algaraccommodation whose office was just across the street. The staff were very friendly and responsive. Within walking distance of everything yu needed. A 7 min walk to Marina where there were restaurants and all the boat tours and then probably another 7 mins walk into the Lagos town centre with the waterfront promenade lots of shops and lots of local restaurants. The beach was about a 12 to 15 min walk and in the opposite direction the grocery store Pingo Doce was also about a 12 to 15 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this property and this location which while a little pricey was worth it. We were there for 16 nights mid to late June.

Fantastic Apartment

Would definitely return. Loved the apartment and location as well as Lagos in general. Easy stroll to the beach, marina or the old town.

We had a nice stay in this apartment. The beds were comfortable, and in general, everything worked well. However, the place did show some signs of wear. The toilet paper holders kept falling off, some of the electric switches didn't work well, and despite the large outdoor area, there were surprisingly few pieces of outdoor furniture. We also missed having a vacuum cleaner available during our stay. Still, it was a pleasant place overall, and we enjoyed our time there.

We don't provide a vacuum cleaner as we provide once a week cleaning, we do leave a broom, dustpan and brush and mop. We hope you enjoyed your stay in Lagos. Good property, poor communication.

Property was great, cleaning staff were excellent, as was the location. The onus is on the tennent to request details of entry to the property, not the owner/letting agent, which is strange. After initial problem, access to the property was texted to us.

I must point out for any future guests that arrival instructions were emailed to you on the 25th of March when you made your balance payment, not sure if this went to your spam folder but a message from you the day before arrival to ask about entry would have highlighted to us that you hadn't received these details and we would have resolved it there and then, we always send arrival details to all guests with the address of the accommodation and contact numbers for check in.

This property is in an amazing position. You can easily walk into the town to restaurants, cafes & supermarket and also to the beach. The rooftop pool is small and was often busy. The gym is very small and looked tired.The property is spacious and has a balcony on three sides and so you can always have sun & shade. There is a table & chairs on the balcony where it is lovely to have your meals. There was always a lovely breeze (August) and so we only used the air conditioning in one bedroom. We were surprised how quiet it was at the property.Property was well equipped, however needs a brush/hoover to remove bits from floor (usually sand from visits to beach) as only dustpan & brush provided.Will return.

Review of our stay

- clean: In some parts there was still a lot of dust (we were the first ones after it was empty for over a year after Corona): at the TV, on the dining table... Buth bath & bedrooms were well cleaned. The appartment has a really nice terrace, but the glass surrounding was also extremely dirty. Seems this was not cleaned for more than a year (or two?) - We did miss a brush or vaccuumcleaner in the appartment to clean the appartment during our stay for 8 nights. Especially as you bring sand from the beach, it is not nice that you cannot clean the appartment during your stay. Tip to the owners :-) - Welcome was good although very short and not a lot of info. It is done with the rental company who is located opposite the streat. I know we are in Corona times, but talking a bit outside on a distance, sending a mail upfront with tips & tricks, or copying some pages that you can give to every guest could be valid alternatives. We were missing the warm Portugese welcome that we did receive in the places we rented in the East of the Algarve. - Location is very good towards the harbor and the old city. In a 1km walk you are in the city center, but still you are located in a very quiet location so very quiet at night. - Swimming pool was good, but water is very cold altough we were mid August. - Enough (free) parking around the building which is very handy. - No small bakery or shop in the neighborhood, but there is a big super market in 1 km. - terrace is reallllly big so nice to stay on if you would have small kids that need to do a nap in the afternoon.

Die komunikation war schon super , man hat uns im vorfeld auf Renovierungsarbeiten hingewiesen .War aber für uns kein Problen.Die Wohnung ist genau wie beschrieben.Sehr zentral ,2 min zum Bahnhof und 3 min zur Marina.

Check in und Wohnung alles in Ordnung. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Es wurde sogar 1x die Wohnung gereinigt. Einen Parkplatz in der Umgebung zu finden ist gar kein Problem, egal ob am Tage oder Abends. Leider der Pool etwas dreckig und ca. 80cm tief. Wenige und kaputte Liegen am Pool. Die Terrasse ist sehr groß und wirklich schön, nur leider auch sehr windig, abends braucht man lange Sachen. Der schöne Sandstrand ist ca. 10min zu Fuß erreichbar. Ansonsten sehr schöner Urlaub.
