A Lovely Apartment

We really enjoyed our accommodations. The first 3weeks had awful weather so it was doubly important to be warm and comfortable. There are many good restaurants nearby and the view was terrific. Helena and her husband solved our few issues promptly The linens were excellent and were changed weekly. The bed and furniture were completely comfortable

Lagos on the Marina stay

Excellent apartment overlooking the marina, close to all amenities. Coach terminus and train station easy 5-10 walk. 10 minute walk to the supermarket and farmers market. The apartment was clean and tidy and well furnished. Highly recommend this apartment.

8 day stay

Helena met us at the unit when we arrived to let us in and explained things for the unit. She gave us her number to contact her if we had questions or issues, which we did not. The unit was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location of the condo was fabulous. It was quiet, with gorgeous views of the marina, and very walkable to all the attractions and restaurants.

Perfect Spot in Lagos

This was the perfect spot for husband and I to stay in Lagos. Helena met us upon arrival. Parking was free. We were able to walk to Old Town, the beach, grocery store and all water activities within 10-15 minutes. The train station was also close by. The condo fit our needs perfectly. We especially loved the large balcony…Hope to be.back again.

Lovely apartment

This is a lovely apartment in a great location overlooking the marina. Nice, quiet location, really close to the old town and beaches, as well as the supermarket. The host left us a bottle of wine for our arrival which was a lovely touch.

Excellent Location

The apartment was ideal for 2 people. The large glass doors make it bright and welcoming with a lovely balcony and a view of the marina. The kitchen was well equipped but the microwave was too high to reach and could be dangerous when taking out hot food. We would stay here again.

Helena's apartment was ideal in all respects for us. We could walk the beach, restaurants etc. right from here. The apartment was nice and comfortable and well equipped. Fantastic apartment in perfect location

This was our second stay at Helena's apartment and just as good as the first. The marina view is wonderful for watching the boats coming and going and people watching! The apartment is very clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped and has a large comfortable bed and a well equipped kitchen. The railway station, bus station and the Pingo Doce supermarket are all within 5 minutes walking as are several excellent restaurants (make sure to try Tasca la Lota opposite the railway station) so you don't need to hire a car. We will definitely stay again!

Lovely place in the Marina

This is a cosy and charming apartment fronting right onto the marina. it is an easy walk to town. It is very close to a grocery store Pingo Doce. But our favourite was that it is so close to many good restaurants in the marina and also lots of happy hours. It is an easy eight minute walk to the walkways along the beach where you can walk forever. Helena was gracious and a great communicator. She was easy to deal with and very responsive. The apartment is extremely well furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped.

Great Apartment

This apartment with a large balcony overlooking the marina was everything we could ask for. It was private and quiet but only 2 minutes walk from bars and restaurants plus 10 minutes walk from the town centre. We found we could walk to the beach in 20 minutes but that it was more convenient to use our hire car. The bed linen and towels were changed halfway through our stay, and we would really try and book this apartment again.

Great Lagos Marina Location to Escape a February in 🇨🇦

The view was stunning with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful marina. The location is top notch. We were close to beach, town, grocery store and so many bars and restaurants. Marina Bar is a happening happy hour daily 3-6 pm. Fresh linens and towels weekly were of top quality. Loved that we each had a bathrobe for our stay. Helena met us upon arrival and left us with a complimentary bottle of Portuguese red wine and a bottle of water. She was always available for my many questions throughout process. We are sad to be leaving beautiful Lagos🌴☀️

Great location - everywhere is walkable

Sadly virtually everywhere is Lagos seemed to smell of drains with sewage actually floating in the marina. This affected out stay but was nothing to do with the apartment. The linen and towels were changed after a week (we had a two week booking) but we were a little surprised that only two toilet rolls were provided for a two week stay. Parking was great (close and free) but if you want to watch TV you better speak German - few UK channels. Overall a great stay since we could walk to the old town and the beach. The apartment was exactly as described, was clean and comfortable.

Top marks for location, view and facilities

We were in Lagos for 8 nights at the end of September 2019. We wanted to stay somewhere with a big balcony and a good view of all the comings and goings at the marina. This apartment didn't disappoint. As well as the view, we appreciated the size and facilities of the balcony (chairs, tables, loungers). The sun doesn't come onto the balcony until very late afternoon at that time of year, but we knew this in advance and were happy with that. Of course, the sun would be in a different position at other times of the year. The apartment itself was very comfortable with good facilities, including very strong wifi, coffee maker, washing machine and dishwasher (but you need to provide your own detergent). There was a good selection of TV channels in different languages including Portuguese, German, French and English. The building has a lift, but there are a few steps at the front door, and a small flight of stairs to get to the lift, but this wasn't a problem for us. The marina has lots of bars and restaurants, but we didn't hear any noise from these. It's about 2 minutes walk to the train station, 10 minutes to Meia Praia beach, 10 minutes to the large Pingo Doce supermarket, and 12 minutes to the town centre. So it's a great location. Helena met us to give us the keys, and we appreciated the bottle of wine that she left us. I'd definitely stay here again.

This property is as shown!

This is a very nice unit. It is in older building and shows signs of the age ie cracked tiles etc. It is very nice well furnished but the furnishes are dated and somewhat saggy. The unit is very well equipped with all that is needed for a pleasant stay but very poorly provisioned, no shampoo, soap, one partial roll of toilet paper, same for paper towels. No dishwasher soap, no laundry soap and on and on. There is not even any salt and pepper, not to mention other basics. Those basics would make a stay so much more pleasant rather than having to find a store immediately. Helena was pleasant to deal with and even came to meet us at the train station. No problems there. Overall we would stay again and recommend it to others. The area is great, close to the old town overlooking the marina. Lots of places to eat in the immediate vicinity and a large store for groceries near by. Suggest some written instructions be put together.

Excellent location

This property is an excellent value. The apartment is very attractive with a desirable view. Communication with the manager was easy and prompt. It is within walking distance of all tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again.
