Denna moderna och attraktiva timmerstuga ligger högt pÄ Black Mountain, Jackson NH. Omgiven av White Mountain National Forest. Det har kÀnslan av att vara i Yukon men minuter till civilisationen. Stig ut pÄ kvÀllen stÀng av lamporna och pÄ en klar natt kan du nÀstan röra stjÀrnorna. I slutet av uppfarten Àr du pÄ National Forest vandringsleder som pÄ vintern förvandlas till preparerade XCountry skidspÄr. Dessa och 50 andra (150 km) underhÄlls av Jackson X Country Touring Assoc. 5 min och du Àr basen för skidomrÄdet Black Mtn DownHill och en resa pÄ 15-20 tar dig till Cranmore, Wildcat eller Attitash DownHill Resorts. Sekretess och spektakulÀr utsikt lÀgger verkligen till denna fantastiska timmerstuga. Interiören Àr vackert möblerad, 3 sovrum och ett granitbÀnkskök som Àr fullt utrustat (ingen diskmaskin). Great quiet property off the beaten path. Was just what we were looking for. The outdoor shower was a pleasant surprise. We missed the note for 25/linens and 25/garbage, but we were able to remedy easily. Would stay here again.

Slice of paradise

A mountain paradise! A touch rustic but a perfect family friendly option for myself and three teenage boys. Dog friendly - a huge bonus! Just a short drive from Jackson, the river, and Pinkham Notch AMC Visitor Center. We will definitely be back.

Unbelievably peaceful cabin-house that is somehow 10 min away from civilization. Dead quiet, day and night, stars are gorgeous, and everyone should get to drink their coffee in front of a big window showing the sun coming up over the mountains. Rooms are big and comfy, variety of hard/soft beds, which was great. Fireplace-stove was fantastic on the chilly nights, and my dogs loved the challenge of the downhill driveway to fetch balls on. George was a consummate host who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Mission accomplished! I cant wait to get back!

My husband, dog and I had 2 magical nights and days at this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed walking the surrounding trails, sitting by the warm wood stove and preparing meals in the kitchen.

Peaceful Cabin

Fantastic, spacious cabin. Hiking trails right out the door, storyland just down the road. Responsive and helpful host. Perfect getaway for family and dog. Far exceeded expectations and I hope to return again soon.

I live on the coast of Massachusetts but spend as much time as possible in Jackson. In the future I hope to retire to the mountains.I love the outdoors and all this area has to offer. I first came to Jackson as a boy to visit my uncle who owned the original home that was here. I would dream all winter of trout,hiking,exploring, and wild raspberries. I was fortunate enough to purchase the property years later. The original house burned down but out of the ashes came a new beginning. You can stay at cabin and immerse yourselves in the forest and not see a soul or head out to the village and beyond to civilization.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

If you like the sweet smell of balsams (Christmas Trees), the mountains/ outdoors,and privacy this is it. When I arrive in Jackson I have no need to leave town its all here. Sitting in the brook on a July afternoon is heaven. There is also an outdoor shower to die for and no need for a curtain. A good book in the afternoon with all the windows open, and a mountain breeze -u need nothing else.I designed this cabin to meet all of the needs that make this place special.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The mountains are the home also to many different species of wildlife. I believe I have seen most pass through my property-moose,deer,bobcat,coyote,bear,porcupine just to name a few. The variety of birds are too numerous to count. They fill the forest with beautiful music from dawn to dusk. Speaking of nightfall you can reach out and touch the stars.The rivers are stocked but native trout exist also. I am not a golfer but the 2 courses are challenging and open to the public.
