Chateau des Egrons ligger i privata gated grunder omgiven av en klippt häck bland de rullande vingårdarna i sydvästra Frankrike. Chateau har aktuella faciliteter och bekvämligheter, men behåller också ursprungliga och gamla egenskaper och karaktär, dekorerad med franska antikviteter. Rummen är alla stora med takbjälkar och klinkergolv. Det finns 5 mottagningsrum och ett stort kök med skafferi / tvättstuga. Det finns flera ställen att äta, inomhus och utomhus, täckt och utomhus, och mycket sittplatser och privat utrymme i huset och runt huset.
Det finns 5 stora sovrum, ett med 3 enkelsängar, resten med extra king size-sängar. Det finns 4 badrum, 3 är en-kostym.
Det finns ett TV-rum som har satellit-TV och multi-region DVD och hi-fi. Det finns också ett bordtennisbord och mästerskapens kvalitetsbordfotboll samt alla väder-tennisbanor och uppvärmd pool.
Allt linne tillhandahålls, inklusive badhanddukar. Det finns både gas och traditionella BBQ s och massor av högkvalitativa möbler både på den inneslutna gårdsplanen och på den bakre terrassen och runt poolen.
En golfbana på mästerskapsnivå ligger 15 minuters bilresa bort, liksom floden Dordogne.
Detta är en underbar plats för att utforska den omgivande regionen, marknaderna, vingårdarna och platsen från Bergerac till Ste Emillion. Det omgivande området producerar underbart vin och mat.
Många vänner och familjer återvänder regelbundet till Chateau des Egrons.

WOW what an amazing Chateau

We spent 7 nights at this lovely Chateau des egrons in May 2023. 7 adults, 1 child and 2 small dogs. The location is perfect for a peaceful break yet close enough to venture if wanted. The booking process was easy and ongoing communication from the owner, and once in France the Chateau manager Jayne and her team were on hand for literally anything as they were only 10 minutes away. Would absolutely recommend this amazing place to anyone.

Heavenly

We arrived with high expectations and were surprised to find that this place is bigger, grander and more beautiful than we had pictured. Heavenly. The adults had space to relax and play and the kids had the same. Add some amazing local wine, excellent food, chefs who cook at the house, and some magic weather and we were blown away by the place. Unfortunately 2 weeks passed in a twinkling . Beautiful and very special. Jimmy and Laura

Absolutely perfect in every way....

We had a wonderful stay at Chateau Des Egrons. We were a family group of 10 including children, parents & grandparents and there was more than enough room for everyone with sitting rooms we didn't even manage to use! Huge kitchen which was very well equipped, lots of fridges, a choice of places to eat both inside and outside. Very nice tennis court and beautiful swimming pool with stunning views across open countryside. The owners were very quick to help with any minor problems and Jayne, the local manager, was very much on the spot if we needed her and made us a very nice meal for our first evening which saved us having to worry about shopping until the next day. Surrounding villages were lovely and pretty much every day there was a night market in one or other of them where you can go and eat very inexpensively in the market square without booking. Can't recommend it highly enough - so long as you don't book it when we want to go!

Excellent Holiday Exceeding Expectations

My family lives in far flung parts of the world and we get together for an annual fling. During 2017 it was France and we stayed at this lovely property. We were so impressed by the sense of space and relaxation and enjoyed all the facilities on offer at the Chateau and in the area. The local cooks were all excellent and we had a splendid 2 weeks together. Highly recommended and very enjoyable and relaxing. Dr S Kaparia and family

Fantastic!

This is the third time we have returned to Chateau des Egrons, always with a different bunch of companions and this time with family representing 3 generations. We are always surprised at the improvements and enhancements we find on each visit to an already wonderful property. This time the weather was warm so much of our stay was outside by he pool, on the tennis court and in the loggia and courtyard...The golf course also seems to be going from strength to strength. Outstanding service from the local team, great food and wine and the ambiance of this fantastic property....back again in due course we think!

Fabulous and Wonderful

We arrived late (midnight) but the local manager was at hand to show us around and help us settle. The morning showed us the full glory of this fabulous place; the grounds, rooms and magical space was like waking up in a dream. Our two families and kids ranging from young adult to young teens all had our favourite things at hand; the pool and the tennis court were well used and the planning where we would sit for each meal (several indoor and outdoor alternatives) was a source of much fun. The area is great with shops, golf and markets on hand and getting to know the wine was also a much discussed pass time; we all had our favourites. Clare and Jane cooked us splendid meals during the two weeks and we also ate out on occasion and enjoyed BBQs and cooking for ourselves after visits to the markets. Although the area is rich with things to do and see (golf, the river, the towns etc) we did spend a lot of time being lazy at the chateau and using its facilities. The excellent weather also helped our tans. The house is charming, spacious and beautifully decorated with all facilities at hand. We all look forward to future trips here. Fabulous and Fun

I visiting during a particularly nice September and so had the benefit of great weather. My cousin and family came from Australia and my sister and family came from the US. We had a real UN contingent with three generations represented. There could not be a better venue. The tennis and pool were very popular as was the SKY TV for certain sporting events. We had some wonderful meals cooked by the local recommended cooks and by ourselves. The wine tour was excellent as was the local golf course and all the local markets. The icing on the cake however was the wonderful home away from home that is this charming Chateau. Not pretentious but very comfortable and very elegant. Well done to the team who make this happen and to the charming local manager, Jane, she is a delightful lady who could not be more helpful. I hope we manage to get the logistics organised for such a family reunion again.

The Time of Our Life; what a place. Just perfect!

This is a property that has charm and magic. Wonderful things can happen here and we found great space and freedom amongst great beauty and peace. So private yet so exciting and why would you want to explore the region when you can stay in this wonderful place. There were 10 of us but it was most uncrowded. We all loved this place.

As a busy resident of Surrey in England I have always been 'near' France and have loved the variety and way of life of rural France. I often draw inspiration from the local markets and and vineyards and like to forage for whatever is in season. My family enjoy this too between the various activities that keep us busy in France like tennis, golf, swimming, exploring and enjoying the sun and the ambiance. The property has been tended to ensure that we and our visitors can all have a wonderful experience here.

Chateau des Egrons is an elegant home that has lovingly restored and maintained for visitors to enjoy. It is comfortable, elegant and has a wonderful warm feeling about it that draws people back. My children and their friends call it ‘the happy house’ and we have many repeat visitors. A combination of the house itself, the food and wine, the peace and the variety of things to do.

The location is splendid. It is wonderful to be so close to great food and great wine; my friends tell me it is wonderful to have tennis, the pool and golf at our doorstep. Something for everyone!
