VÄra tre sovrum, 2 badrum hem Àr smakfullt inredda i en avslappnad, bekvÀm bungalow stil. Fastigheten erbjuder en mÀngd bekvÀmligheter, inklusive en pool för din anvÀndning, ett dÀck med utsikt över havet, grill, tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare, hÀngmatta och, naturligtvis, det vackra blÄ havet nÄgra steg frÄn dörren. Du kan höra de krascha vÄgorna frÄn ditt sovrum och fortfarande vara omgiven av lugnet i din egen trÀdgÄrd. Highly recommend this unit. The host and on island representative were very helpful and respond immediately. The unit is as pictured on a beautiful beach that was perfect for setting up a chair and reading(no swimming however). And the pool and outside area were great for relaxing.

The property manager (Melyssa) met us and showed us exactly how to get to the house. The Internet went down after the storm the day we arrived. Melyssa was able to get it fixed quickly the next day. Everything was clean and as described. Would stay here again!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this home—perfect in every way for a family vacation! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully planned. Nightlights in every room made it easy for the kids to navigate after dark, and the abundance of hooks for towels and swimsuits was such a helpful touch (especially with little ones running in and out of the pool!). Speaking of the pool—it was a huge hit! Crystal clear, the perfect temperature, and very well maintained. We spent hours swimming, relaxing, and making memories that our family will cherish for years to come.There were plenty of towels; bath towels and beach towels were provided. Even laundry detergent was provided for the washer, cause we all know laundry never ends
. Even on vacation!!! The beds were incredibly comfortable, with soft, supportive pillows that made it easy to fall asleep after fun-filled days. Everything was clean, cozy, and set up to make our stay comfortable and stress-free.We can't recommend this home highly enough. It's ideal for families and truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already talking about coming back next year!!!

We loved the house , the pool and the location. The house was very comfortable and Charming . Michael's property manager took very good care of us. She responded very quickly if we had any questions or concerns .the air conditioners were a must and kept us very comfortable. The disappointing part was the beach. We thought we were going to have a Sandy Beach and what we got was a beach with some sand and mostly rocks. We did not find out till we got there that you needed water shoes to get in the water because of sea urchins that if you stepped on them could send you to the hospital. Consequently we did not use the beach at all. We had an amazing time on Vieques ! loved the authenticity of the town, the people, the island, loved the horses, the crazy roads, the drivers, the chickens but if you think you're going to go and sunbathe and get in the water on a sandy beach close by this is not for you

We were thrilled with our stay at this beautiful property! The house had everything we needed - comfortable beds, plenty of towels/linens, dishes/cooking utensils, stable Wi-Fi...I can't think of much that we needed that was not provided! The pool was clean, fun, and very well maintained. It was great having a washer and dryer on site. This is the best property we have stayed at. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

2nd year!

This is the second year we have stayed at the Barefoot Bungalow and we were very happy! Great, easy beach access, beautiful ocean view from the yard! The home is very clean and plenty of room for the 5 of us adults. And can’t forget to mention our pet for the week, Hey Hey the chicken! Lots of fun and we will be back!!!!

I would definitely come back to this location. The house is perfect! Just the right size for our party. Pool was nice and sheltered from the constant ocean breeze. Morning coffee or afternoon cocktail on the patio was a treat. Some day's the biggest question was "beach or pool". Great beachcombing on "our" beach if not truly suitable for swimming. The property manager was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. The welcome basket was a nice touch. Plan to return in 2027. Note: if you take the ferry, bring a sweater.

Perfect location for relaxing and seeing Vieques

We were a party of 3 and the location and house was perfect for us but could accommodate more as well. You really cannot get a better location - you hear the beach at night and sitting on the patio overlooking the ocean was perfect. The house has all the amenities you need and the Wifi worked well for the most part (one day it was spotty but not a huge issue), as did the AC although you don't really need it as there is a breeze. The owners are extremely responsive and the house manager as well. Neighbor is friendly and we felt safe at all times. To be able to get up and walk on the beach cannot be overstated! We realized that we had stayed in this exact location 20 years ago under a different owner but I think this visit was the best yet! We love Vieques and will be back. Thank you!

A BAREFOOT BUNGALOW! Clean! Loved it!

VERY clean house, pristine private pool, well-appointed kitchen, PLENTY of towels and sheets, right on the beach, well-organized, hidden gem. WE WILL BE BACK! We woke each morning to the sound of WAVES and we would make breakfast and eat it outside watching the tide. We felt very secure with the coded fence and the friendly neighbors. We can not say enough for this perfectly groomed 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. This is a short drive from the grocery store and shops. Perfect for us as we dont care for town-noise. Also! We were usually the ONLY people at the beach behind the house. We felt very priveledged to stay at this gorgeous home on Vieques!femce and the frieny

Relax to the max

Absolutely loved the location! Beautiful beach out the front door, secluded swimming pool in the backyard, far enough from town to have some "quiet", but close enough to get everywhere easily. The house is well equipped with cooking supplies, games and books. The bed was comfortable. We would have been happy just hanging out at the bungalow for our entire stay!

Absolutely Perfect

We loved everything about our stay here. The hosts thought of everything, from the beach chairs and umbrella to the board games. Falling asleep to the ocean every night was wonderful. We made it a point to take a walk along the beach every morning and every morning since it was right there. The house was in a safe area so you felt secure being there.

Beautiful spot with everything

We stayed as a family with small children and found the house had everything we could need or want and was well maintained. The description really says it all. The hosts and the property manager were exceptional. When we arrived, the pack and play was missing a piece, which our property manager went out and got another piece that night to fix it for our use. Also, I found the grill unusable one morning and she had fixed it that afternoon for me to use. And we lost wifi (not that we should be using it at a location with this much natural beauty) and the tech was out in two hours to fix it. Very impressed!

Great house

This is a great property! We had a few minor issues but the owners were VERY responsive and took care of things immediately. They do a check-in so check your VRBO account, that was very nice! The property manager was not available due to an emergency so not her fault at all. I think we just didn't pick the best time of year. It was stormy and the beach in front of the house was rough so we couldn't use it very much. Bring water shoes there is some coral and rocks on the edge when you get in. The pool is so nice and there is a washer and dryer (we didn't use the washer but the dryer is very good). There is a lot of dish ware and extras. If you had six people you would be good for probably 3 meals! (there is not a dishwasher, just FYI) The AC and fans in the house are excellent! We actually had to put them to a warmer temp because we were getting cold. The water is set also so you won't burn yourself if a kiddo turned up the water to high, I liked this feature. It was tricky getting there it's in a tucked away neighborhood but google maps did bring us right there. The roads in general are very narrow, including the driveway and getting in through the gate, don't rent too big of a car! Would highly recommend this home!

Amazing again

This is our second time renting from Michael and Gail. They are the most hospitable hosts we’ve ever had very responsive. Their house manager was great. The location is perfect. Amazing to be able to wake up every morning and drink our coffee sitting outside hearing the ocean, we can’t wait to return again.

My husband, Mike grew up in the quiet town of Houlton, Maine but his family vacationed each year at Wells Beach, Maine. I grew up in Stratford, Connecticut where the beach was always 10 minutes away. We met in San Antonio, while we were each pursuing our individual careers. We both love the ocean and can't ever get enough of it.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Vieques has something to offer all beach lovers. I like quiet waters to wade in and Media Luna on Vieques is perfect for that. Mike likes to sit under the palms, drink an adult beverage while he listens to the waves, and Red Beach is perfect for that. My daughter and son-in-law love to snorkel and Green Beach offers hours of snorkeling adventures. The people of Vieques are great! The Malecon in Esperanza is fun!

The unique benefits of our bungalow are: 1) You have the whole house to yourself. 2) with a pool all to yourself, 3) on the beach 4) air conditioned through out 5) with a view of the ocean from the master bedroom and dining area 6)for less than $300 per night.
