The Neighborhood:
Located in the city centre of Edinburgh, North Castle Street is a prestigious address and with that comes a lovely neighbourhood. The property a main door entrance with office space above, ensuring a quiet stay without noisy neighbours.

The neighbourhood is very friendly with a large range of restaurants, cafes, and offices. The property is ideally located and just minutes away from tourist hotspots such as the Georgian House and Charlotte Square. There aren't many flats on North Castle Street compared to the rest of Edinburgh.

Getting Around:
You have many different ways of getting around but for where this property is, by foot is definitely the best.

Other options you have are the world-class bus service, you will need to download the app if you have a smartphone. If this is not the case, we would have timetables in the property.

At Bonjour Residences Edinburgh, we have a number of properties available for short term accommodation in the surrounding areas and would be happy to discuss your short and long term stays requirements. We can provide stays from 1 week, 1 month or 1 year or as long as you are working on your Edinburgh project.

We request a £200 security deposit at check-in, which will be returned after your stay. We also require all our guests to sign our in-house Terms & Conditions and to submit a copy of your ID, after you have booked with us.

Interaction with Guests:
Myself- I will be available more or less all the time. Ideally between the hours of 9:30am and 6:30pm for any requests and emergency at anytime.

Large apartment in great central location

Well situated for exploring Edinburgh. Well equipped large apartment with parking place in a central car park 5 minutes away. Suited us well for our stay.

This property was a great location for us. Very close to restaurants and shops. Close to St. Andrew square where our venue shuttle picked up and dropped us off. Fan & Piotr were very gracious hosts.

Excellent location, great for groups and those with mobility challenges

The location of this flat is exceptional. Great food and shopping very close by. If you’re there during the Winter Festival, you’ll be just a block away from the pop up sites. It was easy for taxis/etc to pick up & drop off as well. You will get some noise, given the location, mostly from cars and people walking by late in the evening - no noise from neighbors. A few things that are good to know depending on your party: Mobility: There are ~7 stairs to get from street level down to the apartment, but once inside, it’s completely flat. There is a step into the shower in two of the bathrooms; I don’t recommend using the far back bathroom’s shower/tub combo as that step is too high. But overall, you won’t find a better apartment for those with mobility limitations. Groups: The rooms & bathrooms are all roughly equivalent, which solves the problem of who gets the “best” bedroom if you’re traveling as a group. Two are en-suite, and the third bedroom’s bathroom is just steps away. King-size beds: If you need/want a king size bed, this is the rare spot with 3 king beds! All the beds zip together so can be set up as 2 twins or 1 king. I could not feel the seam in the middle of the king. Beds are somewhat firm but very comfortable. Kitchen: If you plan to cook, as I do, this kitchen is stocked fairly well. Plenty of plates and glasses, and an assortment of pots/pans/bakeware. Laundry: Great washing machine and a sizeable drying rack. We enjoyed our trip and would stay here again!
