Great place for a weekend away!

Great place. Super clean and spacious. Great location between both towns. Only issue was some WiFi issues with no phone signal in the area and tight parking when completely full. Would stay again.

Cute place!

Just as advertised. Cute, spacious cabin. Had everything we needed to prepare meals and sleep comfortably. Great location. Restaurants and shops near by. Beautiful view of the lake from the property but the stairs to the beach are steep and unlevel. BE CAREFUL if you chose to access the beach this way. I would stay here again.

Cottage #2 is larger than others on property. We were comfortable even with the high temps.

We enjoyed our stay, the view was very good from the deck of cottage. The cottage was nice and we enjoyed our time there

Very relaxing next to the lake

This was the third time I stayed in this cottage. I love the lake view from the window. The cottage looks just like the photos on line. It is a pet friendly property. I like that I can take my 2 small dogs with me. I plan to stay here again.

Plesant place to stay

This was my second visit to this property. As a person traveling by myself and 2 dogs , I feel safe and comfortable here. The owners are great and they live close by. The property looks just like the photos. I plan to visit again next year.

Quiet Stay...but no beach

I was looking to go somewhere to get away from the busy city life and this was the place! I had no cell service...PERFECT! There where only 8 cabins so not a lot of people so it was quiet...PERFECT! I just wish there was a beach to walk on but that's mother natures fault. Loved watching the boats.

Cabin 2

Wipp Cottages is a beautiful place to stay. The view overlooking Lake Huron is breathtaking especially in early morning. The cottage had everything we needed, very clean and cozy. Our hosts were quickly responsive to any questions or needs. While we were there the electricity went out for miles due to a crop duster hitting wires. Next morning our hosts had gone into town and brought us huge thermoses of hot coffee from a coffee shop in town. It turned into a community gathering.

We’ve stayed in many rentals in this area. Our cottage was perfect for two or three. Nothing fancy, but everything we needed with a spectacular view. Met nice people/animals and enjoyed the gorgeous flowers and plants around the property. Our cottage was the largest of the 8 available. Be aware that reception and wi-fi is intermittent in this area in case you’re thinking of working while here! Relax instead!

Location was awesome.

Everything was how I pictured it would be. The only negative would be that the stove wouldn’t work. I’m sure it was just the pilot light but I didn’t come prepared to light it. Bought a lighter and had to light the burners each time I used the stove. I did not know how to light pilot for oven. Would definitely recommend your cabins and I would stay again.

These little cottages are cute and popular, and we did enjoy our stay. Our cottage had two beds, one full size and one queen size. We opted to use the full size as it had access to both sides of the bed, but certainly would have preferred to have had the queen sized bed in that room. Kitchen shelves and cabinet were cluttered, but easy to pick up. We were only given two towels for a two night stay. Check-in was a little tough, partly because I had trouble getting into my email or calling the property manager with a spotty phone signal. Community areas were enjoyable, but messy. I picked up trash and cleaned chairs. The view though was incredible! While we were there, heavy equipment was being used to do septic work on the next property directly behind our cottage. That proved to be noisy and smelly. Parking is a little tight, but manageable. Cute towns about 5 miles to the north and south of the cottages.
