Perfekt för naturbadning omgivet av träd och Sandfloden. En privat och avkopplande flodfront hem med utsikt över Sand River över från Lake Superior Beach. Beläget i ett land 4 naturlig hektar trädbevuxen miljö på State Highway M28 East, är vi 15 minuter från Marquette centrum och 25 minuter väster om Munising. Beach är en 600 fots promenad från huset, en underbar 3 mil sträcka av Lake Superior stranden ligger en kort promenad nerför vår skogbevuxna uppfart och över vägen. Denna vackra sockersandstrand är rankad som en av UP: s bästa stränder - ren, fin sand och fantastiskt vatten. Camp Luke Charles ligger inbäddat i den höga röda tallskogen mellan Lake Superior och Sand River. Sandfloden är utmärkt för enkel, avkopplande kajakpaddling och paddling som leder ut till Lake Superior. Fågelmatare ger besökare året runt. Bäver, martiner, stora hornuglar och skalliga örnar ses på floden och stranden.

Camp Luke Charles stuga har en mycket lugn miljö.

Wonderful getaway

Beautiful property with a confortable, well-stocked home. Love being able to walk to Lake Superior! Comfy beds, good kitchen, tons of beach towels, everything we needed was right there. Easy to reach owners. Couldn't ask for more from our stay!

Everything was absolutely wonderful about our stay! The house was clean, well maintained and instructions were clear. Great location between downtown Marquette area and Munising. Absolutely stunning views all throughout the property and at Lake Superior.

Clean and Comfortable East of Marquette

A pleasant stay in a cabin with room and character. Five adults were comfortable and another five could have joined us, no problem. Cabin was clean with interesting decor; about 10 miles east of Marquette in peaceful surroundings. Beautiful beach across the hwy. Aacross the hwy.

Perfect location

Very well stocked with needs and entertainment items. Enjoyed lazy river boating and Lake Superior beach. Nice base for travel from west to east ends of the UP.

Summer Getaway

We had a great quick getaway. The kids loved kayaking in the river and the fires on the beach. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. If we return we will definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

Sandy calm beach right across the road. Good location between Munising and Marquette. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and all you would need to cook away from home. Handsoap, dish soap, paper towel, toilet paper and trash bags were a nice surprise, we have been to a few places without these provided. Cottage is comfortable and decorated with many interesting pieces. We enjoyed being close to the beach and walked over multiple times per day. We would definitely stay again!

Great location-all the amenities

The beach was beautiful. Great location between Marquette and Muisinger. We enjoyed watching the birds and the peacefulness of the Sand River. Annie and Paul include all the necessities of home.

The house was great. Great location!

Close to Marquette. Nice town and a lot of things to do around the area. The back porch area of the house was my favorite hang out. So beautiful and peaceful. We had a blast with the kayaks and the canoe on the river. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful

A wonderful location on a river and across the street from the lake. A nice location to explore the Lake Superior coastal area from. House was comfortable, equipped with everything you would need. We loved our stay here, just wish we had had more time.

Family trip

2 first timers to the UP. Great location to stay and the house was very comfortable and inviting. 3 separate bedrooms for my husband and I and his 2 sisters. 2 bathrooms, new washer and dryer, and the appliances were nice. Lots of space inside and out to enjoy

Perfect Setting

This home was in a great location, not far from Marquette or Munising. The river is picturesque and Lake Superior beach just amazing. Home is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the eclectic decorating. It was very interesting. Highly recommend this home.

Great location!

Loved the location in the UP and nestled into the woods but a quick walk to Lake Superior. Beds very comfortable. Everything clean and ready. Easy in and out. Would love to visit with warmer weather to be able to sit outside and use the kayaks on the river. Delightful.

Location, Location, Location !

Superior location! Centrally located between Marquette and Munising making it easy to enjoy both cities. Don’t miss Lakenenland right down the road - so unique and fun! Gorgeous sand beach right across the street , a perfect spot for beautiful sunsets. Although we didn’t see the Northern Lights as we had hoped, the star filled skies were exceptional. Lovely swing in the yard to sit and star gaze. The river behind the house was fun to canoe and kayak Bedrooms are very large and beds were comfortable.Plenty of space inside and out to relax and enjoy . The house was clean, but there is an overabundance of eclectic decorations for our taste that gave us a cluttered feeling, but without a doubt there are many special memories and love in this house.

Peace and beauty

Camp Luke Charles is a place for peace and relaxation as well as fun for the family. The time always goes too fast and is never long enough. Everything is always clean, inviting, and lovely.

Paul & Annie Bishop married 34yrs 5 children 8 grandchildren. Spent our summer vacations in the UP growing up together.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Located in the Red Pine forest on the bank of the Sand River. Surrounded by trees and set back from the road to offer a peaceful setting. The private sandy beach directly across our drive is several miles long and great for walks along the water, campfires, swimming and more. The Sand River is calm and surrounded by nature great for kayaking.

We are close to either Marquette or Munising which both offer many activities and shopping experiences.

Lakenenland Sculpture Park is a 1 1/2 miles toward Marquette (West) and a wonderful place to stop and visit.
