Inbäddat i lunden i Boulogne, och så nära till stränderna i Opalkusten, stugan fyra öron Gites de France "Stables des Prés Billard" dig i sin gröna miljö. Stugan ligger i anslutning till logi "Les Prés Billard". Beundra solen stiger över skogen vakar över honom och floden flyter vid hans fötter, är det möjligt .... Ut ur sitt rum och njuta av lugnet på plats på en liten terrass, är det möjligt att vara nära hästar, rådjur, fasaner, en mängd oanade fåglar, är det möjligt att promenera längs de vackra stränderna i Opalkusten, är det möjligt att leva ändra färger på dessa platser för att ta andan ur dig, är det möjligt ....

Une parenthèse fort agréable

Chez Myreille tous les sens sont en éveil : on respire le bon air, le parfum des végétaux. On écoute le chant de la rivière, celui des oiseaux. On se relaxe en observant les animaux, la nature. Que vous ayez envie de vous reposer ou que vous ayez la bougeotte le gîte de Myreille est fait pour vous ! Il est idéalement situé : vous profiterez de la campagne, de la mer toute proche, des nombreuses activités et visites aux alentours. Comme l'ont dit les enfants : "Trop bien le gîte !"

Schöner ländlicher Familienurlaub

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus ist umgeben von Natur, es laufen Hühner über die Terrasse, die Pferde grasen direkt hinter dem Garten. Myreille ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin und hatte mehr Ausflugsideen für uns, als wir in 2 Wochen unterbringen konnten. Unterkunft und Gastgeber sind sehr familien- und kinderfreundlich. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit Myreille!

Such a wonderful accomodation with a spectacular view!

Once again we (4 adults and 3 children) spent a wonderful time in the house with its spectacular and very green view onto a horse paddock, huge trees and the nearby forest. It is a great place to be with small children, safe, quiet and secluded. The beds are very comfortable, the tables (both inside and outside) huge, the kitchen well equipped. The surrounding landscape is estonishingly pretty which makes the 30 minutes drive to the cost (great for children) a joy. Myreille and Hervé are perfect hosts, we recommend the accomodation warmly and will surely return. Thank you, Myreille and Hervé!

Idyllic Setting - Perfect for Families

We really enjoyed our stay and visit to France. This was our first holiday away with the kids since COVID, so we wanted a place surrounded by nature where we could simply relax. The gîte is absolutely perfect for a family, surrounded by natural woodlands and the children loved visiting the horses every morning. We found the location to be perfect for daily trips with so much to see and explore on the Opal Coast. We really enjoyed our chats with Myreille and found her hospitality to go above and beyond. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you for having us! :)

Peaceful haven...

We had a lovely week at Les Pres Billard. Myreille and Herve could not have been more friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The cottage was cool and comfortable despite a heat wave and the view over the pastures and forests was so peaceful. We loved watching the horses, ducks, cows, and forest wildlife cross the fields as we ate our meals. :-) It was also easy to explore the region and the coast line from this location when we felt like venturing out. We would definitely return.

zeer mooi gelegen vakantiewoning, met alles er op eraan, heel smaakvol ingericht, op de grens van beschaving en vrije natuur. Prachtig uitzicht op weiden met paarden en kleinere neerhofdieren. Moet zalig zijn in lente en zomer. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars in nabijheid.

Extraordinaire. Le confort, la décoration,l’environnement, tout est plus que parfait dans ce joli gîte. Eine Oase in einem unterschätzten Teil Frankreichs

Das Ferienhaus war ein echter Glücksgriff. Idyllisch gelegen, von einem sehr netten Vermieter-Ehepaar liebevoll hergerichtet, ist das Ferienhaus in der Realität noch viel schöner, als es die Darstellung auf fewo-direkt vermitteln kann. Morgens wird man von Vögeln geweckt. Beim Frühstück schaut man auf die Pferdekoppel, wo zwei Pferde friedlich grasen. In direkter Laufnähe finden sich einige Wanderpfade durch die Natur (wir hatten eine topographische Karte gekauft, die uns gute Dienste leistete). Die Ausstattung ist modern (z.B. was den Herd und den Kühlschrank angeht). Manchmal hätte es sicher auch etwas weniger Modernität getan, denn manches ist auch etwas fragil (so mussten die Vermieter an der Dusche Hinweise anbringen, wie mit der Duschsäule umzugehen ist, dass nichts kaputt geht - was leider nicht immer alle Gäste zu verstehen scheinen...). Wir kamen aber gut mit allem aus und uns fehlte es technisch an nichts. Desvres selbst hat einige schöne Wege in seinem Umkreis. Allerdings gehört zu Desvres auch dazu, dass dort einmal Industrie zu finden war. Einen Blick in die Geschichte bietet das Keramik-Museum. So wie es hergerichtet ist, nimmt es auch Jugendliche mit hinein in die Hochzeit der Keramikproduktion in Desvres. Einige andere Fabriken sind noch aktiv, was bei einem der Wanderwege die Ruhe nahm. Am Ferienhaus selbst ist davon aber nichts zu hören. Von der Vermieterin bekamen wir gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Cap Gris-Nez an der Opalküste war für uns ein guter Startpunkt für zwei schöne und abwechslungsreiche Strandwanderungen. Insgesamt bietet die Küste schöne Strände (z.B. bei Hardelot). Es empfiehlt sich, von den jeweiligen Strand-Promenaden etwa 1 km am Strand entlang zu laufen. Die Strände sind dann fast menschenleer und bieten je nach Tidenstand eine riesige Sandfläche und gute Bademöglichkeiten. Wer an der Geschichte dieser Region interessiert ist, sollte sich La Couple nicht entgehen lassen. Für Deutsche zeigt sich hier das Unheil, das in der deutschen Besatzungszeit über Land und Leute kam. Zugleich wird klar, wie wertvoll die deutsch-französische Freundschaft der letzten Jahrzehnte ist. Wer an Europa zweifelt, findet hier überzeugende Argumente, warum die europäische Idee nicht scheitern darf. Und so wird der Bogen weiter gezogen, bis zur Landung auf dem Mond - es bleibt zu hoffen, dass Raketen auch in Zukunft auf friedlicher Mission unterwegs sein werden. Wir sagen DANKE für eine eindrucksvolle Urlaubswoche!

Sehr entspannter Urlaub im Grünen

Wir verbrachten zu fünft einen sehr entspannten Urlaub in dieser sehr liebevoll eingerichteten Unterkunft. Es war alles im Haus was man braucht. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken und Vieles ist innerhalb von 30 min. erreichbar. Z. B. die abwechslungsreichen Strände und Steilküsten der Opalküste. Aber auch die etwas längere Fahrt nach Lille lohnt. Nach den Ausflügen kann man prima auf der Terrasse entspannen. Myreille und Hervé haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns nützliche Tipps gegeben. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Reiten auf Tiptop hat den Kindern sehr gefallen. An dieser Stelle ein großes Merci beaucoup an Myreille und Hervé!

Wunderbar!

Wir (Großeltern, Eltern und zwei kleine Kinder) hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der ebenerdigen (gut für Krabbelkinder!) Ferienwohnung, die (im Gegensatz zur Nachbarwohnung) über einen großen und nicht einsehbaren Garten mit spektakulärer Aussicht auf Wiesen und Wald verfügt. Allein die Ruhe dort ist schon erholsam. Das Haus ist sehr schön, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Betten sind bequem, die Bäder modern und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Die in der Nähe wohnenden Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Strände sind sehr kinderkompatibel, ganz besonders schön fanden wir auch die bewegte Landschaft zwischen Desvres und der Küste, die die knapp halbstündige Fahrt zum Meer sehr kurzweilig machte. Wir können diese Ferienwohnung und die ganze Gegend wärmstens empfehlen. Merci Myreille et Hervé!

Lovely property in a beautiful peaceful setting which was a home from home. Myrielle was lovely.

We arrived for our week long stay and was welcomed warmly by Myrielle and her husband. The property was lovely, clean and had everything you would need for your stay. The house was spacious and well presented. The setting was wonderful with a area to sit outside and enjoy the fabulous views of woodland and even had a little river running at the bottom of the paddock. Myrielle was extremely helpful with explaining how everything worked in the property and had a wealth of knowledge of the local and surrounding areas and places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would highly recommend you come and stay at Myrielle's lovely property. We will be coming to stay with her again next year. What a lovely couple Myreille and her husband are.

Très joli séjour

Un bel endroit au calme !

Nous avons tous été enchantés par les lieux, le cadre agréable, le gite très bien agencé, l'accueil très sympathique des hôtes. la découverte de la région environnante est également très appréciable. Le gite est idéalement situé à la campagne mais proche de la mer et des Caps de la région. On y retournera !

Fantastic property, lovely location, charming and engaging hosts.

We followed previous reviews and weren't disappointed. A charming old stable conversion with authentic nods to its past life, in a peaceful country location. Nonetheless, just four minutes from the local supermarket, and less than half an hour to the medieval walled town of Boulogne, and the beautiful rugged mix of golden sands and and rock pools that make up the " Opal Coast" from Calais to Boulogne( As a cyclist I regretted not taking a bike.... wonderful rolling roads along the coast and through the undulating forest countryside). A slightly longer drive to Le Touquet ( the kids loved the sand dunes immediately to the south side of the Ibis hotel at the southern end of the resort .... With free parking) via La Course Valllee route ( and chocolate factory) as recommended by Madame Lebuerre ... and the truly chocolate box town of Montriuel . Numerous local markets to explore. Ultimately, a perfect spot to completely unwind in, with or without kids, with or without wanting to fill your days with the many varied and delightful local attractions. Thoroughly recommended.

Ein Paradies

Wir waren vom ersten Moment entspannt im Urlaub und haben fantastische zwei Wochen in der schönen und großzügigen Wohnung verbracht. An etlichen Tagen haben wir auf Ausflüge mit dem Auto verzichtet, weil das Anwesen von Myreille und Herve mit nahem Wald, Pferdewiese und Bach uns mehr als genug geboten haben. Die Landschaft hat uns hier und da an das heimische Bergische Land erinnert, was so nah an der Küste unerwartet ist - schöne Weiten, schmale Straßen, individuelle Dörfer und Städte, sehr unterschiedliche Strände und unendlich enspannte und freundliche Menschen. Myreille und Herve sind bemerkenswert herzlich und Liebenswürdig. Sie geben viele Tipps und helfen wo sie können. Herves Reitstunden für unsere Kinder bleiben sicher unvergessen und das Pony Peter ist geduldig. Unsere Tipps: Die nahe Ziegen-Käserei, die Wanderung und vor allem der Strand von Dannes (am Ende der D940E2) - unendliche Weiten und sehr wenig Menschen - und die "selbstbemalte" Kirche in Wirwignes. Unser Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

very good - we had a lovely stay

When you arrive at the gîte you feel welcome from the first moment. Even the grandchildren ( 'ma petite puce') make you feel at home. Myreille and Hervé are very kind and they give you all kind of tips for trips in the surroundings. The gîte was fantastic. Everything was located downstairs in our gîte. We had a lot of space: 2 bath rooms, a nice ktichen, a comfortabele and cosy living room.... and a marvellous vieuw on the meadow with the horse. In the gîte we had all the things we needed for spendig a splendid vacation. The gîte is located in an area from which you can start easily for day trips without driving to much kilometres. The opal coast, le Touquet-Paris plage, Montreuille-sur-mer, Le Marquenterre, Boulogne sur mer, Saint-Valérie sur somme, Saint-Omer... are all places which are worthwhile to visit. We had a lovely stay and we highly recommand this gîte. Ilse, Stefan, Nele and Silke

Paradies mit Pferden

Am Stadtrand von Desvres, in einer ruhigen geschützten Lage befindet sich ein kleines Paradies. Am Ende einer Sackgasse liegt das Domizil der Lebeurres. Grand Madame Lebeurre mit einer gehörigen Portion flämischen Humor und der relaxte, souveräne Herve haben den Pferdestall in 2 luxuriöse Ferienwohnungen umgebaut. Besondere Ausstattungsmerkmale: riesiger Kühlschrank, 2 Bäder je Apartment, Waschmaschine- / Trockner Kombination, sowie stilvolle Accessoires, Architektur- und Pferde Zeitschriften und Spiele / Comics für die Kleinen. Insgesamt ein sehr stilvolles Interieur. Als besondere Attraktion bietet Herve auf der Koppel kostenlos, je nach Verabredung, kurze Ritte auf dem Pony Peter für die Kleinen an. Ein herrlicher Garten mit einem Blumenmeer und einer Großartigen Aussicht runden den Locus Amoenus ab. (Fluß, Baum , Lichtung). Une environnement enchantée

Myreille, merci pour votre bons conseils. La region nous convenait tres bien, la variete de paysages, le foret et la plage, bonnes restaurants, beaucoup des producteurs-locaux du terroire. Et une gite authentique, spacieuse et tres complete. Une semaine est trop court! Nous reviendrons.

Absolutely perfect location for a week away

With a 2 and a 5 year old, we chose to stay close to the ferry at Calais this year, and not have to fly anywhere. What a brilliant decision - we WILL be doing it again! The Opal Coast was absolutely beautiful, from it's beautiful long beaches, to the wonderful country-side and it's ever incredible villages, seaside towns and gastronomy feasts. Myreille and Hervé made us feel like we were at our home away from home from the moment we arrived - we were immediately shown around immaculate lodgings with beautifully designed bedrooms and a gorgeous french cottage-ey feel downstairs - fully furnished, fully equipped and extremely comfortable - complete with a small pony sticking his head through the kitchen window to say hello. We spent the week visiting all the local areas, the beaches, the towns and cities - very typically French. We went trecking in the beautiful forest opposite the cottage, fed the ducks and enjoyed the fishing and our little boy had his first ever ride on a horse! We felt welcome, at home, updated on the area and what was available - the cottage is gorgeous, and it's hosts are so welcoming - thank you Myreille and Hervé! We were also shown the other side of the accommodation, which was being rented to some other tenants for the week preparing for a wedding. Where our property took a small portion of the ground floor for it's living area and the top floor of what was once the stables for it's bedrooms, the other side took the ground floor completely - overlooking the most magical meadow and stream, the forest in the background. We will definitely be coming back, and booking the other side out in the very near future.
