Penhaven - Downalong St Ives – Sleeps 8 – Sea Views – Parking for One Car
Situated in an excellent position just metres from the Harbour, Penhaven is a beautifully refurbished four storey, cottage with four bedrooms. This wonderful holiday home has been tastefully restored to an extremely high standard with stunning harbour and sea views from the top floor living room balcony.
Just a short stroll away from the golden sandy beaches, St Ives art scene, restaurants and boutique shopping, plus sea views and a parking space, Penhaven has everything you need for that special Cornish break all year round.
The open plan living/kitchen/dining area is located on the top floor, the room opens via two sets of bi fold doors on to a full-length balcony overlooking the glorious ever-changing view across the Harbour and beach. To the rear of the living area is a door out to a charming terrace, a lovely spot to catch the morning sun.
The contemporary kitchen has high quality Miele appliances and high gloss units, including an electric oven and hob, combination microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine which takes Dolce Gusto pods, Quooker tap and waste disposal unit.
The dining area has a large table with seating for up to eight guests.
The living area boasts doors to the balcony, a large comfy sofa and TV.
Also on this floor is a cloakroom with wash basin and WC.
The luxurious principal bedroom is on the first floor with a king size bed, an opulent free-standing feature bath and television. The addition of an en suite with wash basin and WC makes this a wonderful self-contained suite.
A large wet room is also on the first floor with walk in shower, wash basin with vanity unit, heated towel rail and WC.
Bedroom two is on the second floor with a double bed and television.
The third bedroom also on the second floor is a delightful room with a feature stone wall, twin beds and television.
On the second floor, bedroom four has bunk beds, a vanity unit and a television.
A family bathroom is also situated on the second floor and has a bath with hand-held shower over, wash basin and WC.
To the rear of Penhaven is an outside shower and second entrance, great for washing off the sand after a day on the beach.
The garage on the ground floor is used as a surf store for boards and beach equipment and the useful utility area houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.
