Named after a former owner of Coswarth House, the Brunyee Room has been described by many guests as having the feel of a private suite. The Brunyee Room has its own separate entrance which offers a greater sense of privacy to guests looking for a romantic retreat.
This cool & soothing room has a French shabby chic feel & is furnished with an antique double cast-iron bed, painted antique furniture & two cosy armchairs. A large sash window offers views over the garden & if you sit in the window you can sneak oblique views of the Camel Estuary & Bodmin Moor.
The en-suite bathroom is almost as large as the bedroom which gives the space for a double-ended, cast-iron bath that's big enough for two. The plantattion shutters provide privacy so why not grab a bottle of one of the excellent Camel Vineyard wines & while away the time with your loved one in a shared hot bath? With the added benefit of an enormous walk-in shower, wooden floors & antique chair, it really is a bathroom to waste time & pamper yourself in.
*Please note that there are steep stairs leading to the Brunyee Room meaning it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties. See our access statement on our website for more information
Coswarth House is not your usual B&B and has no aspirations to be regarded as such! It is designed for the discerning traveller who wishes to maintain their privacy in traditional and sumptuous surroundings. We offer accommodation in Padstow combining the benefits of period charm & boutique styling. Our breakfast is provided by our friends at Rick Stein's - usually in St. Petroc's Bistro - which is a very short walk from the house.
Our spacious, light bedrooms have been freshly refurbished to create relaxing spaces where antique furniture sits comfortably alongside contemporary touches. Our bedrooms have luxurious, spacious en-suite bathrooms with powerful showers & antique cast iron roll top baths to soak away your stresses & strains. Soft, fluffy towels, waffle robes & stylish aromatherapy bathroom products add a touch of opulence.
