Don’t stay here unless you want to be robbed!
The good: Apartment was as described in listing. Owner, Efi, was good at responding. Close to all the Athens tourist spots. The bad: No extra garbage bags for bathroom trash. Linen closets containing extra towels were messy & unorganized. No instruction papers or binder left in the apartment. So no information on where to take out trash, how to check out, how to use washing machine (for those who can’t read Greek), how to lock windows or that you need to dead bolt the front door, or any other information that might be useful for a visitor not used to these items. The horrible: The last day of our stay, we were robbed. Every pocket of all of our bags was gone through & all of our clothes were thrown around the bedroom. All doors & windows were shut & locked including the external window security gates. No idea how anyone got into the building or the apartment. Luckily, I read a previous review that another visitor was robbed while staying here. So we had most of our valuables with us. Unfortunately the robbers stole my AirPods Pro’s, a North Face hat & some clip-on sunglasses. We called Efi when we came home that night to let her know & see what she wanted us to do, she was quite upset & she said she would do something for us. She didn’t ask us to call the police. And she couldn’t come over because she had a small child. I offered to video chat with her so she could see the apartment, but she didn’t want to. So I sent her pictures.
