Albion House, in Deal, Kent is a traditional and large apartment with uninterrupted sea views sleeping 4 people in 2 bedrooms. This gorgeous apartment would be perfectly suited to families or friends looking for a coastal holiday. A lovely short walk leads to the town centre with its amenities of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.

This beautiful two bedroom apartment is set over two floors of a pretty, period property on an attractive street with stunning views of the English Channel. Located in Deal, Kent, just a short walk away from the town centre, this light and spacious property would suit couples, families or small groups of friends looking for a perfectly located space to spend a relaxing break by the sea. The apartment comes with a parking spot in the car park too.

The owners have furnished the apartment with a wonderful array of art, interesting finds, comfy sofas and calming décor.

The apartment is located on the third and fourth floors of 'The Marina.' Please note as access to the apartment is reached via two flights of stairs, this property would not be suited to those with mobility issues.

Large and modern, fully-equipped kitchen with a table and chairs. Fridge freezer, large gas hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer. Enjoy the beautiful views towards Betteshanger Park and the fantastic sunsets from this room.

Sitting room

Large, open plan room with large corner sofa, armchair, 50" TV and six seater dining table. This room overlooks the sea and has a door onto the south facing roof terrance with a table, chairs and loungers. The owners have created a wonderful feeling of relaxation with a choice of cosy seating areas, whether you wish to sit and read a book, watch TV or simply enjoy the breath-taking views!

Easter break in Deal

While we arrived to find scaffolders and painters working on the outside of the property (information we had not been made aware of in advance) our correspondence with Amy at Keepers cottages gave us the timely information we needed and this didn’t spoil our sea views from either floor, or impact our stay. A perfectly appointed property and beautifully furnished to a very high standard. We even got to sit out on the terrace which I am sure would be awesome in high summer. Our friends that joined us often visit the Deal area and were impressed with the property itself and also others on the books of keepers cottages.

A wonderful, spacious, characterful and well presented period apartment with wide uninterrupted sea views. Great to hear the sound of the waves at any time of the day or night. Kitchen is spacious and well stocked. Wish it was mine!

Spacious apartment

A wonderful clean and spacious apartment. Great location to town. Lounge windows have amazing view but could do with blinds as impossible to see the television.

Every thing you want is here for a carefree holiday Only One thing to comment on is lack of blinds in the front room the room is a sun trap in the morning but very blinding But overall can’t fault it at all

A beach front gem with period style

The 4th floor flat was well appointed with large comfortable rooms. The elevated views south, west and north were expansive and a spectacular feature of the property. The patio is a great asset for fine days. Parking was adequate, it could be a challenge for a larger vehicle. As a 4th floor unit there are several flights of stairs to reach it and one in the suite itself - it could be an issue for certain individuals. Apart from a not working bathroom extractor fan functionality in the flat was good and the supplies covered all the important needs. All in all a unique and comfortable holiday home.

5 Days in Deal

This is our 3rd stay at Albion House . A great location to explore Deal and look at the sea views . The property is great , with tall ceilings for tall people . However due to the exterior decorating work that was ongoing , the view was slightly disrupted with scaffolding and the terrace was not useable due again to the scaffolding and the debris caused by the decorating . The bed in the master bedroom would benefit from new mattresses. (very soft and sunk in the centre). With all that said it is a lovely property and if the mattress is changed and once the decorating is complete we will be booking this property again. In the mean time we will be exploring other properties with keepers cottage.

A Gem in Deal

This property is excellent value for money. The location is very convenient for the town and the many places to eat and parking is not a problem. The only drawback is the the number of stairs but it is worth the effort. The flat is equipped with everything needed for a great holiday even a wine fridge (perhaps with the the addition of a tray in the kitchen?) and is furnished with style. Highly recommended.

Grand apartment

Albion House provides excellent accommodation for two couples, very spacious, warm and comfortable with unrestricted sea views and a terrace. The apartment is on the upper floors of a grand property right on the sea front and within walking distance of all that Deal offers. We would thoroughly recommend but the stairs may be a problem for some.

An elegant apartment with stunning sea views

This is the second time we have stayed at Albion House and we have already booked for next year. The apartment is a haven of peace and yet just 10 minutes walk into town. All you can see from the living room and main bedroom is sea and sky. The roof terrace is perfect for eating outside or just lounging. Beds, linen and towels are excellent, as are the two bathrooms. We enjoyed the books and beautiful objects from around the world which create a serene atmosphere.. When we had an issue with the way the property had been prepared, the agent dealt with it in a prompt and friendly way. If I had a suggestion it would be to upgrade the crockery which seems rather basic for what otherwise is a luxury apartment. But all in all, Albion House is an exceptional property and we look forward to returning.

Excellent overall

In general, I would rate the flat as excellent. The location was ideal, very near to the town centre, and the highlight was the outdoor seating area with the fantastic sea view. The flat interior is very spacious and elegantly decorated (although the Buddhism theme may not be to everyone's taste), and it's very well equipped with cutlery, appliances etc. The showers in the two bathrooms are of luxury standard, and the downstairs toilet was very useful. The mini library full of novels etc. is a nice touch. My main complaint is that the tap in one bathroom didn't work properly: the water was sometimes cold and only flowed as a trickle. Also, we couldn't get BBC1 on the TV due to interference, and the two standard lamps in the flat didn't work.

And more space. Well appointed and soft muted decor. Yes there are quite a number of stairs to the property and some stairs internally but the climb is worth it. Outside the town centre of Deal but is walkable either along the promenade or along Sandown Rd.

A very good apartment in a lovely position.

Overlooks the sea, lovely outdoor space and good parking. Well equipped kitchen. Convenient for beach and town centre. Only downside : number of stairs, you need to be fit! Would be very happy to return here.

An elegant, seaview apartment

This is a quiet, relaxing, beautifully furnished apartment. It has a huge kitchen with table and a gracious living space, as well as two large, comfortable double bedrooms and two bathrooms, so there is lots of space for four adults. The view is just awesome: all you can see from the dining table is sea and sky, while the main bedroom has the same incredible view as the living room. There is a private roof terrace from where you can see the whole of Deal seafront. We enjoyed browsing the large selection of books. We recommend getting fish and chips from the nearby Fryer Tuck on your first night!

The real deal

Four of us shared the flat so we could meet friends and enjoy being back in Deal, our home town. The weather was perfect and the patio attached to the flat was a real boon. We hope to be able to use the flat again sometime next year. The staff at Keepers Cottages could not have been more helpful and welcoming.

Lovely sea view, very spacious apartment

Lovely apartment with wonderful sea view, short drive to the supermarket, to have a dedicated parking area is the first priority on our list and this parking space was first class. One draw back was the stairs leading to the apartment, having to bring all your belongings up to the flat and then your shopping and of course when you leave having to bring everything down again, we were warned in advance about the stairs leading to the flat and there was no lift, we enjoyed our holiday for the week and we would book this flat again.

Relaxing Break

We had been looking forward to our week away in Kent for some time after deciding not to travel abroad this year. The pictures of the apartment looked good but do not convey the actual size of the all rooms they are all very spacious. The large south facing terrace provided some outside space to enjoy. We are thinking of a return visit maybe with friends as there is definitely plenty of room. Everything was spotlessly clean with spare supplies provided. Keepers Cottages were easy and friendly to deal with. The call we received telling us that the apartment was available early enabled us to travel straight there with no hanging around unnecessarily.

Perfect!

Great service from Keepers Cottages and an amazing flat. Our jaws dropped when we walked in, and the terrace is fantastic - sunny yet somehow sheltered from the Deal nor'easterly! And how lovely to be lulled to sleep by the waves washing on the beach. We will be booking again - although this review will probably (quite rightly) make the competition even stiffer! Thanks again to Camilla and Team.
