Bait and Switch
I booked the condo with this ID many months before our trip. There was confusion before we got there as I was sent 2 different condo numbers in emails. Upon arrival we picked up our package and got to condo to find it was not the unit we rented. We had 7 people in our group and the one the gave us slept 6. When I talked with the management group I was told this is common practice for this owner. They're answer was to move buildings and not be in ski in ski out or a blow up bed both unacceptable. They eventually gave us a roll away bed but there was not the seating shown on the unit we rented and not near as nice. They were aware they did this and offered to pay for for breakfast one AM. There should have been some sort of financial compensation which I asked for and never received. The elevator was out the entire trip so we had to carry all our ski stuff and suitcases up and down the stairs. The main TV cable also went out so we had no TV for 1 night of our stay. The management company was very responsive and came to fix it the next morning. The building is nice location good unit not as nice as one shown.
I have rented from VRBO many many times and only had 1 other small issue that was easily resolved. We travel a lot and have realistic expectations but this was without a doubt done intentionally as they post the nice unit and rent to numerous people for the same time and then move you. I would not rent from this owner again.
