The Chateau is located adjacent to Villa Valletta (326752) and Villa Sky (325498). These three villas can be rented together for large groups of up to 35 persons.

This huge villa offers the perfect combination of tranquility and fun with family and friends. Thanks to its huge wonderful outdoor area, this magnificent villa is the ideal place to relax and spend unforgettable days.

This traditional yet stylish villa consists of a spacious fully equipped kitchen with living area, five air-conditioned bedrooms and five bathrooms. All rooms are located on ground floor level except for one bedroom with en-suite which is located on first floor overlooking the picturesque outdoor area. The well tended garden of three thousand square metres has a lovely swimming pool, charcoal BBQ, small football pitch and even a lovely swing.

The Chateau is located in the outskirts of Zejtun which is close to Marsascala and Marsaxlokk both offering numerous restaurants, bars and beautiful beaches.

Free WiFi in all rooms while Air conditioning is available through a Pay-Per-Use Coin Machine with €10 daily free.

Super mooi verblijf! Aan alles is gedacht. Fijne tuin met zwembad en voldoende ligbedjes. De villa was erg netjes en goed onderhouden. We hebben een super fijne luxe vakantie gehad samen! Bedankt en echt een aanrader

La Villa Le Chateau n'a pas les critĂšres d'une villa de Luxe: les photos, prises sous grand angle, sont trompeuses: la piscine est un trĂšs petit bassin, le salon est sombre (pas de fenĂȘtres). L'installation pour l'eau chaude est trĂšs insuffisante pour la capacitĂ© de la maison (2 douches le matin et 2 douches le soir); la vaisselle et les ustensiles de cuisine sont insuffisants (1 seul saladier); pas de chauffage du tout, donc les lits sont froids et humides, en automne/hiver; les grilles de sĂ©curitĂ© Ă  chaque fenĂȘtre sont fermĂ©es par des cadenas, il n'est pas possible de les ouvrir. Mieux vaut louer la Villa le Chateau en Ă©tĂ© mais attention, l apiscine est une "pataugeoire" pour enfants.

Belle maison fonctionelle pour 10 personnes

Nous avons passĂ© un sĂ©jour trĂšs agrĂ©able dans cette belle bĂątisse. Nous n'avons pas pu nous baigner car la mĂ©tĂ©o Ă©tait trop fraĂźche mais la piscine est jolie - un peu petite cependant. A noter que pour accĂ©der Ă  la 5Ăšme chambre il faut passer par la 4Ăšme chambre et la salle de bain. Pour une famille ce n'est pas gĂȘnant mais pour des couples c'est un peu plus gĂȘnant. Pour activer la climatisation ou le chauffage il faut glisser 1 ou 2 euros dans une machine pour pouvoir activer le systĂšme. Josette est trĂšs accueillante et nous a fourni toutes les informations utiles Ă  notre sĂ©jour (pratiques et visites). Les petits plus : les Ɠufs frais Ă  disposition que l'on va chercher dans le poulailler au fond du jardin et le grand parking voitures (au moins 3 places).

Don’t rent this place

Nothing works. Hot water, heat, internet and the ridiculously complex stove are some examples. There are five bedrooms that sleep 10 people but only enough hot water for three showers and then you have to restart the hot water heater and wait an hour. We were charged 10 euros extra a day for WiFi put it was weak and half of the house got no signal at all. They charge extra for heat. We knew that in advance. So we gave them 100 euros in cash up front. That was used up in three days then we had to feed euro coins into a machine. Every room has separate and a different type heating and air conditioning unit with different remotes. I don’t think you can categorize a rental as “luxury” when you have to provide basic nesessities like toilet paper. Then there is the smell. I’m not sure what caused it but on some days you really could not sit outside. It might have been manure from nearby fields but it smelled nasty. I have to say I hate writing this and I have never written a negative review before, but when you bring you family half way around the world you don’t want to get nickeled and dimed. Oh, by the way. The picture of the outside of the house with the big pool is Photoshopped. It’s about a tenth of the size depicted.

Luxury villa... view from the garden

We spent one week in the villa The Chateau with my family. Everything is in accordance with the pictures seen on website (the swimming pool is very small). The villa is very nice, in traditional maltese style. We haven't noticed in the contract that we'll have to pay for the heating by a using coins machine, that's our mistake (it's the same system for air conditioning). But when we came into the villa, the inside temperature was 13°C ! It took us a very long time to warm up (2 days)... everybody got a cold ! The system for hot water is difficult to control, we all had to take cold showers several times ! The furniture (mattresses, sofas, chairs...) is not confortable. Be careful if you have backache. Nice villa for a summer stay but not very adapted for a stay during winter. From my point of view, "luxury" is excessive for this level of service...

Perfection

We stayed in The Chateau at the end of March. We were in Malta for our wedding with a group of family and close friends. We had wanted to rent villas which were near to each other so we booked The Chateau, Villa Sky, Villa Blueberry and Villa Valletta. Whilst we stayed in The Chateau, we visited each of the villas and they are all very unique and very beautiful. The Chateau was absolutely amazing. It really is such a romantic setting. You wake to the sound of farm animals and collect eggs from the chickens for breakfast. The villa is well equipped with everything that you may need. The rooms are a lovely size, beautifully decorated and there is more than enough space for large groups. The garden at The Chateau is impressive-plenty of room for sunbathing or having a BBQ. The pool is also very nice! We were super lucky with the weather in March and really made the most of the outdoor space. The location is lovely for those who are looking for a relaxing break. There are supermarkets including a Lidl nearby and many excellent restaurants for lunch and dinner in the locality. The Stuffed Olive in Marsascala is very good and Terrone in Marsaxlokk is simply superb. The markets in Marsaxlokk are great and well worth a visit. Make sure to check out the beautiful boats! Many people in our group hired cars and explored the local area and beyond-Valletta, Blue Grotto etc. These villas are excellent to use as a base while exploring the island. Josette was excellent to deal with and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for her. We would recommend these villas to anyone, they are exactly as advertised. We will absolutely return, as will many of those who travelled to Malta with us.

Charming

We stayed at The Chateau in October. We were very lucky with the weather so we really enjoyed the pool. The kids loved getting the eggs from the chickens at the bottom of the garden every morning! Truly a gem of a place. Will surely return!!

Lovely Holiday

We have just returned from a lovely one-week holiday at this villa. We were met by Josette, the owner, who handed us the keys and showed us around the villa. This villa is lovely and retains all its original features. We all enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the hot weather, especially the kids! We also hired a car and drove around the island. All in all a lovely holiday...would surely recommend it for anyone wishing to unwind and relax.

Perfect with children

Very beautiful house with garden and pool. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our daughter (2 years old) loved to go picking eggs every morning from the chicken in the yard! Every room has it's own shower/toilet which is convenient with more than 1 family. Josette and Chris were overall very friendly and helpfull (especially with directions on arrival :) haha thanks!) Will recommend!!!

This is a villa in great condition

a nice villa which is preferable for families with children but also for bigger groups which want to spend nice holidays in a nice city and atmosphere. Fresh eggs all day from own chickens were nice. Despite this pool was fantastic. Villa is located centrally. so their is no problem to reach bigger cities within 15 to 20 minutes by car. It was our first holiday in Malta with a bigger group which we enjoyed very much. would like to repeat it again. House owners were very helpful regarding all questions we had and all time reachable. Thanks for this.

No wonder it’s called The Chateau

A villa that makes you want to return again and again. We went as a group of young adults and we can honestly say that this was the perfect accommodation to chill and have fun with friends. The pool is quite large and perfect for 10 persons. We made use of the bbq area every day and the equipped kitchen made it easier to prepare meals. Moreover the terrace was the perfect backdrop to settle down with a nice glass of wine in the evening. We were greatly satisfied by the cleanliness of the place and the friendly owner made sure that we had everything we needed. In fact when we ran out of towels she brought more immediately. We loved everything about this villa – the sophisticated finish and traditional feel, location and good value for money.

Dream Holiday Villa

The Chateau is what we would dub as the Dream Holiday Villa. Spacious, stylish and traditional, peaceful and luxurious. It was a surprise treat for my girlfriend and she was blown away, as was I by what this villa offers. The romantic setting of the pool area and well equipped kitchen are perfect for late evening barbeques and it was so relaxing to have breakfast each morning on the terrace by the pool. Highly recommendable especially if you want to whisk your loved one to a romantic break in Malta. The owner is extremely helpful too; at one point we ran out of tea towels so we called her and she brought us some within a short time. We recommend this villa hands down.

Spacious and Serene

It wasn’t our first time in Malta, but it was the best one for sure. We weren’t aware that Malta had such luxurious villas such as The Chateau. Not only is the villa equipped with all the facilities needed, its sheer size makes it perfect for a large family wanting to relax and have their own space. The pool and barbeque area was simply wonderful. We didn’t want to leave the place and in fact spent most evenings having barbeques by the pool. We can really say that this was the perfect holiday to chill and unwind. Totally recommendable whether you are a family or a group of friends.

The true meaning of luxury

I stayed in this villa along with 3 adults, 4 teenagers and a toddler on a family summer vacation. It is located in a beautiful part of Malta on the south coast. We were met by the owner who made sure we had everything we needed and gave us a tour of the place. It was amazing! We were so impressed by its size, luxury and homely feel. We couldn’t wait to have a dip into the large pool and were quite pleased to find a shallow part attached to it for our 3 year old. She was quite amused by the chickens at the end of the garden and we were told we could have their eggs for breakfast! We were really touched by this sweet gesture. It makes the experience of staying in a luxurious Maltese farmhouse more real. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet homely feel to your holiday, this is definitely the place to go to.

Too amazing for words!

We wanted to organise a birthday weekend for a friend of ours and being quite a large group of friends we needed ample space for us all. We also wanted a large pool and bbq area and we were rewarded with all of this and more at The Chateau. The name of this villa is fitting because once you’re there you really feel like royalty. The large garden and terrace, well-lit rooms and equipped kitchen and dining area provide you with everything you would need to spend a weekend with friends. Moreover we had more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms that made it perfect for a large group. The quaint picture is complete with the presence of chickens that inhabit a corner of the garden making the experience of living in a Maltese farmhouse complete.

Fantastic

Great pool and outdoor area. The kids loved the space, the football posts the swing and the chickens! They also loved the spa pool and the disco pool lights. This is a villa in great condition that has something for all ages. It is private and safe and the villa owners were friendly and really helpful. Plenty of good places to eat in nearby towns and easy access to supermarkets. Villa also well equipped and well presented. Also very handy for the airport. All in all a fabulous stay. Thank you I would definitely recommend it.

Best Senior Trip EVER!

The villa was amazing! It had plenty of room for everyone. We had 10 high school kids ready to celebrate their final trip before graduation. The fresh eggs from the chickens every morning were amazing. Each room having a bathroom was perfect. Cable, Wifi, and a play station, movies and books....everything for everyone to enjoy relaxing inside and soccer, pool, and more outside. Perfectly located-we easily were able to walk, get the bus, or taxi, or rent a car to get around. Jossette and Chris were amazing hosts and as soon as we arrived they made sure we had everything we needed. Malta was beautiful - the people are wonderful. I can't wait to go back! When I go again, we will definitely be staying at the Chateau again! Regards, Mara

Great Villa

What a Villa. Never imagined that it could offer this much. Large garden where children can play, magnificent waterfall like pool, fresh eggs collected daily from the chickens!!!! All villa is located at ground floor level so it is accesible to all with only one bedroom at first floor. Truly an amzing experience that I will recommend to all relatives and friends. Looking forward to come back in this villa in the near future. Thanks to Chris and Josette for all their help and made our holiday one to remember.
