External Description



Villa la Corte is located near Greve in Chianti, in the splendid Chianti countryside.

Surrounded by 10 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and gardens, the property dates back to the 12th century and boasts a large veranda equipped with a dining table, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Tuscan landscape.

Among the outdoor spaces you will also find a lounge area, ideal to relax while reading a book or sipping a glass of wine, and a suggestive stone-lined pool (14 x 4.2 x 2.3 m), with sunbeds, shade umbrellas, a wet bar, and external shower.

Moreover at guests\' disposal there is ample private parking, a bowling green, a fenced tennis court (Astroturf), a gym with exercise equipment, weights, and a ping pong table. Equipment for all of these is provided. Children can also enjoy the enclosed trampoline.

The villa is a short walk to a path that leads to extensive walking/biking trails along the Fiume Pesa.



Internal Description



Internally furnished in an elegant and comfortable style, Villa la Corte is spread over 3 floors and can accommodate up to 12 people for a total of 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Internet Wifi is available. Bedrooms have air conditioning. Pets are not allowed.



Ground floor: The ground floor consists of: a large ancient arched stone entry hall, a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave, oven, two refrigerators and dining table); a spacious dining room with wooden table and massive fireplace; a living room with sofa, tv, fireplace, and games table; a large billiard room with snooker equipment as well as a dart board. A toilet and a laundry room with washer and dryer make the rest of the floor.



First floor: The first floor is dedicated to the sleeping area divided as follows: a master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, 2 double bedrooms (one of which can be transformed into a twin) with ensuite bathrooms; 2 bedrooms (that have the option of two single beds or one king) with a shared bathroom down the hall. There is also a large sitting room with a massive fireplace and a bookshelf, as well as another large room typically adorned with flowers.



Mezzanine floor: On this level there is a bedroom with 2 singles (convertible to a king) and ensuite bathroom.

Prices and conditions



Included in the price: Daily maid service; utilities (gas, water, electricity); welcome basket with local products; welcome dinner on Saturday night (preset menu), and 2 extra 3 course gourmet dinners during the stay, from Monday to Thursday, from local menu choices.



Excluded from the price: Other extra services on request. Tourist tax (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from €0,50 to €4.00 per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).
