Vi ligger också nära den botaniska trädgården, vår fantastiska djurpark (som är GRATIS !!), Busch Stadium, det historiska Soulard-området och många nya mikrobrygghus. Vi är på "The Hill", våra städer historiska italienska grannskap, vilket innebär att du kan gå till fantastiska restauranger och barer i närheten, eller laga dina egna fantastiska recept i det fullt lager kök med apparater i rostfritt stål.

Detta är en härlig lägenhet med ett privat sovrum w / queen size-säng, plus en bekväm drottning futon i vardagsrummet! En vackert sida vid sida med dusch och dubbla tvättställ i badrummet. Det finns en stor veranda att hänga på, plus gemensamt område däck ut bakåt. Vår TV har lokala kanaler och en Chromecast för dina Netflix eller andra strömningskonton. Overall a great stay

We really enjoyed our time here. It was super clean (minus a couple spots on furniture), in a great location, and very charming. Our only issue was that we were convinced that someone was running a marathon upstairs and you could hear every single step...at 5 am. It was rough on our sleep, but we would still stay again and just hope nobody was upstairs the next time.

Always good

This is the 3rd time we have stayed with Steve and Terry. The apartment is alway clean and everything we might need is there. The location is very convenient to just about anything you plan to see or do. Neighborhood is very safe.

Wonderful stay - great location

This was our 4th stay in the apartment. It is perfect for my husband and I. Everything we need is in the apartment, the bed is comfortable, the place is clean and theres a private outdoor space. All that and its located in a friendly neighborhood close to many St. Louis attractions. We booked our next stay on our way home today.

Another great stay at this wonderful rental

This was our 3rd stay here. The apartment is clean and has everything we need/want including a private outdoor space. The neighborhood is quiet, walkable and friendly - very close to many St. Louis attractions.

One day trip

This was just as advertised. Clean, nice, safe and the host were super easy to work with. Don’t get there often but would definitely stay here again if I did. 5 stars from me and my group.

Power outage

We were super excited to stay in the Hill area and explore. Went down to the arch, botanical gardens and Union station area. So fun! Neighborhood, place was great. Street parking was close and felt safe. We experienced a power outage for half of our stay due to a storm. They provided one small flashlight and didn’t really check in with us. While we understand this was not the owners fault, we asked for a discount as our stay was disrupted not being able to make dinner or use the fridge for milk for our infant daughter. We received no response from the owner.

Great place in awesome neighborhood!

I really enjoyed my stay in this absolutely charming condo/apartment. It was so sweetly decorated, in a great neighborhood with all the amenities you'd need for a night or a longer term stay. Terry and Steve were wonderful hosts and clearly take great pride in caring for this rental.

Steve and I grew up in St Louis and love our city. We are now retired, but had a carpentry business and have gutted and rehabbed this apartment. The apartment is attached to our home a home we converted from a duplex to a single family. My husband Steve grew up on 'The HIll' our cities historic Italian neighborhood and attended St Louis U Highschool and SIUE where he went to college and played soccer. I have a yoga teaching certification and help with carpentry as our property is still in transition, as well as run the vacation rentals. We have grown children between us and grandchildren. We love to spend our Friday nights cooking and sharing wine with friends and family. My husband is an amazing cook and an avid fisherman. We love to play Pickle ball, ride our bikes around the city, and play in a bocce league 8 months of the year, at our favorite neighborhood pub. We also own an Airstream and get out in it as often as we can.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Our carpentry company bought this property in 2008 to tear down and build new town homes overlooking Sublette park, but the economy had other ideas. In 2010 we adjusted our vision and began a long, still in progress rehabilitation of the buildings, which at the time were 2 sets of attached duplexes. We gutted both buildings and spent weekends rebuilding the interiors, converting the large units into our single family home. Buy 2012 we were moved in and then started the same process on the 2 smaller apartment units. The transformation has been an amazing process and we wouldn't live anywhere else!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

St Louis was settled by the French, and Missouri had an amazingly prolific clay mines. As a result the city is littered with gorgeous, rich red/brown brick architecture. I loved that our buildings had the original city style architecture with flat roofs and tall ceilings with pocketed door parlors, large porches and fireplaces in every room. This house had many of those features so I feel very fortunate to have one of these buildings that just fits our city.
