Kiahuna Plantation Beach House # 179 - Our Hawaiian Heaven

Vi välkomnar dig till vårt Kiahuna Plantation Beach House. Enhet # 179 är vårt hem hemifrån, och vi ser fram emot att dela den med dig. Det är beläget i en lugn och eftertraktad del av fastigheten Kiahuna Plantation, precis utanför "Great Lawn" och nära stranden, men sätter tillbaka lite för mer integritet. Det finns en trevlig lanai med en fantastisk havsutsikt för att titta på surfing, njuta av måltider, koppla av med en bok eller smutta på en kvällscocktail. Vår enhets andra våningsplats ger välvda tak, en bättre vy och drar nytta av de kylande handelsvindarna. Parkering är i närheten och det finns bara en trappa. Det handlar om en minuts promenad till sanden så det finns ingen anledning att packa bilen för en dag på stranden. Poipu Village Shopping Center handlar om en 6 minuters promenad över gatan för restauranger, shopping eller en snabb Starbucks-körning. Också en 6 minuters promenad är Poipu Beach Athletic Club som är tillgänglig för gästerna på Kiahuna. På Athletic Club hittar du en pool, spa, tennisbanor och träningsanläggningar samt en restaurang vid poolen.

Kiahuna Plantation är den enda fastighetsfastigheten vid stranden på Kauai södra strand. Det ligger på 35 tunnland frodiga, välskötta tropiska grunder med låg täthet och påminner om gamla Hawaii. Den "stora gräsmattan" i centrum av fastigheten är ett bra ställe för par eller familjer att samlas och titta på solnedgången, spela frisbee eller fånga eller sola. Det finns väl underhållna bar-b-ques för att grilla ditt favoritkött, fisk eller grönsaker. Nära stranden erbjuder Beach Hut handdukar, solstolar och solstolar, snorkel- och Boogie-bräduthyrning, conciergetjänster samt surflektioner. Poipu Beach, intill Kiahuna, är konsekvent högt rankad av resetidningar och USA Today. Kiahuna Golf Club och Poipu Bay Golf Club ligger bara ett stenkast bort.
Kiahuna Plantation Resort bygger på det som var plantageföretagets egendom för Hawaiis första sockerplantage. Plantationschefens hem, som dateras till 1930-talet, fungerar nu som Plantation Gardens Restaurant. Kaktus- och orkidéträdgårdarna planterade av Sandie Moir, planteringschefens fru, finns fortfarande kvar idag intill restaurangen. "Kiahuna" översatt löst från Hawaiian betyder "nyckeln till en dold plats eller hemlighet" ... det är verkligen en mycket speciell plats.

Very nice and beautifully decorated condo that we will seriously consider using on our next visit. Since there is now door to the shower I do want to share with the owner a concern about the wood flooring getting wet while showering. We were very careful to dry the floor after each use but some guest may not be as concerned. Since the flooring is wood I would be worried the wood may stay wet and swell. Maybe a different shower head that directed the spray more downward would help. This is not a complaint, just an observation I would want to know about if I were the owner. Your condo and the beautifully landscaped property exceeded our expectations! Thank you for sharing your property with my family.

This condo is perfectly situated on the property with excellent views of the grass and ocean. Everything was very clean and well placed including books, games, and kitchen items. The owners are very responsive to any questions before your stay and have really done a great job with this offering. We would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in the Poipu area. The property management company was also very helpful in getting fresh towels and answering any questions about local places to go.

Wonderful Vacation at Kiahuna

The condo is very nice, lots of space, well stocked and very clean. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and vast green lawn overlooking the porch. It is nice to see families playing with young kids on the lawn. I highly recommend this unit.

What a view!

Our family of 4 (including a 17 yr. old son and 19 yr. old daughter) really enjoyed our stay at this Kiahuna ocean view property. The owner and host Randal was quickly responsive to all of our questions and provided a great list of 'things you might want to know' which was very helpful as this was our first trip to Kauai. The space was clean and nicely decorated and full of great informational magazines and books about the island. The ocean view kitchen, dining area and lanai were an absolute treat! Despite all our adventures on the island, enjoying a cup of coffee on the lanai was one of my favorite memories. The pull out couch bed is more comfortable for smaller people but the ocean views and included beach accessories make this place a highly recommended place to stay.

Perfect stay!

We loved everything about this beautiful condo. A few things we especially appreciated - decor, plenty of kitchen counter space, late afternoon shade on the lanai, tall table and chairs on lanai to take advantage of the view, beach chairs and umbrella. We will return!

Amazing Condo on a Beautiful Property

The condo was such a great place to relax after a day of exploration and a short walk out to the beach to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. It was well furnishes and clearly recently renovated with the kitchen and bathroom standing out. the AC was great to have in the afternoons too! We didn't want to leave and will definitely consider this property for a future trip.

Wonderful stay in wonderful condo

I only have positive things to say about this place. The condo itself is immaculate. Pros- Superb quality finish to condo, bathroom, kitchen etc- Bed is big and oh so comfy- sofa bed really easy to pull out and also high quality - stocked with all beach equipment you could need - aircon is excellent and v effective - the location and view is prime for the resortCons- none!! Owners have done a tremendous job and if you stay here you will have a great time :)

Excellent stay!

The unit was awesome, well decorated and well stocked. It even had beach chairs and a cooler bag to take snacks and drinks with you. The unit was clean and well maintained and the grounds were great. Location was great too - 2 mins to the beach! And communication with Randal was smooth. Will definitely stay again if we visit Kauai.

Great Spot on South Shore Kauai

Condo was clean and comfy with many amenities. Our time was short here (only 2 nights) so we didn't avail ourselves of all that was available. View and balcony were great. We have some wonderful sunset photos from near the beach.

Perfect getaway

Clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked kitchen, looks like it was totally redone recently, and air conditioning . But best of all, it is upstairs with an amazing view of the ocean! I would give it 10 stars!

My husband and I had an amazing stay in your BEAUTIFUL condo. We had other family members staying on the same property, in different condos and ours was by far the best! Very nice updated condo

We really liked our stay in this unit. As noted in the listing it looks recently remodeled. It was clean. The furniture looked like it was in good shape. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen appliances were clean. There were a few times we wished that the unit had AC, but if you open the windows in front and back there will be a nearly constant breeze. It was comfortable at night with the ceiling fan on and the windows open. The view over the lawn and the beach in the distance was nice. During the day there were several times when there was a lot of noise from the lawn area. One time it was the gardeners. Another time it sounded like someone was running a compressor. The best thing about this unit is that it's very private. To get to the unit you go up a flight of stairs. At the top there are just two doors, one to the right and one to the left. This means that no one has to walk by the unit to get to another one. We left the windows open in the bedroom almost all of the time.

We are Randy and Teresa Simin. We have been visiting Kiahuna Plantation with our children for many years and have loved it from the very beginning. It is truly a magical place and we love its sense of history and community.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We had hoped to purchase a unit at Kiahuna for several years, and looked at many units to purchase. This unit especially resonated with us because it looks out onto the wonderful lawn, and the beach where couples and families gather together at sunset to enjoy the beauty of the evening sky and Kiahuna Plantation. It is a short walk to the beach, and the lanai provides a scenic view of the lawn and the beach. #179 is located away from the road, in a smaller building, set back from the great lawn, so it is quiet.
