Lovely, characterful detached farmhouse in the heart of Mid-Wales with rolling views of the countryside, situated on a 320-acre working farm. This is the ideal property to enjoy a relaxed stay, listen to the wildlife and watch the stars in the clear skies. This is a great place for those wanting to visit the coastal nature reserve of Ynyslas Sands or the dolphins of Cardigan Bay, both of which are within a day trip. It is less than 10 miles to the attractive Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells and 13 miles to the market town of Rhayader. Both have an interesting array of small shops, cafés and restaurants. The stunning Elan Valley is located just a couple miles further on, where here you will find the famous red kite feeding station, Welsh Crystal Factory, cycle hire, and a myriad of other outdoor pursuits. Explore the area, whether it be on foot or bicycle. Radnor Forest is nearby and offers spectacular views and routes that can be walked or cycled. Or simply enjoy the multitude of hikes and walks right on your doorstep. The nearby village of Bleddfa offers a country pub within 5 miles.

Perfect location for a weekend break.

Perfect location for a weekend break. Peaceful and secluded. Good size property with plenty of room to relax in.Reading previous reviews, we took their advice and turned up with all the necessities rather than relying on popping out to the shops.Fabulous Indian Restaurant in Llandrindod Wells called Zeera - worth the trip over and excellent found and friendly staff.Would not hesitate to book again.

A lovely place

We spent a week over Christmas at this beautiful farmhouse and found it met our needs perfectly - well equipped big kitchen a nice living room with a warm fire, bathrooms at each floor, three nice bedrooms. The place is quiet and there are nice towns and walks in the area to explore. The hosts were very helpful throughout our stay, too, would definitely recommend.
