The location and the view of the lake and mountains is spectacular. The kitchen is very well appointed and stocked.

Love Lake Placid

April vaca getaway

Nice spot with gorgeous views. I could sit on the deck and read my book all day. Kitchen and appliances were updated and modern. Everything was very clean. Bed pillows were laughably flat.

Christmas and New Year in Lake Placid

Our family routinely travels to Lake Placid and staying at Margaret’s home made our holiday week stand out from other times we have visited the area. Everything was exceptional. The views, cleanliness, comfort, location, and communication with our host was all 5 Star. The hardest part of the trip was having to go back home. We will have very fond memories of our stay here.

Beautiful view

The view from the balcony was beautiful with a glass of wine in the afternoon. Very peaceful. Had a wonderful time exploring the Adirondacks and staying at Margaret’s place. A lot of room for the two of us. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, dishes and all the utensils you need to cook with. We would definitely stay there again.

Incredible vacation spot!

This property is absolutely stunning, and the condo itself has an incredible view of Lake Placid and Whiteface. We were visiting for the Ironman, and were so busy in town that we never ended up picking up beach badges, but we thoroughly enjoyed the condo. We hosted our friends for dinner two nights, one at the restaurant on the lake (a quarter mile walk), and another takeout after the Ironman. Our kids and our friends loved being here! It was roomy enough for our two families (8 people) to hang out and eat. The condo itself also has so many nice touches, such as heated bathroom floors and towel racks, an enormous soaking tub, and generally well-stocked kitchen. It was also nice to be just on the outskirts of town but only a 5 minute drive to downtown. We will certainly be back; it was so peaceful and restorative!

Cabin coziness

If you want a cozy cabin in the woods this is it! Amazing views. Fireplace. Log cabin interior. Truly magical. Two bathrooms are a perk! Also snow and scenic creek and bridge right outside the door. Highly recommend.

Beautiful condo with mountain and lake views!

My wife and I had a wonderful weeklong stay. The unit has everything you need and the host was very friendly and responsive. We loved the views and the fireplace. Town is very close by as well. The only problem was that we didn’t book long enough. We hope to be back soon!

Perfect place for a getaway

Very nice, quiet place overlooking Lake Placid. Spacious interior, great deck to enjoy the beautiful Adirondack weather. We loved how well-stocked the kitchen was.

Great stay

Overall this condo is great for 3-4 people. It’s a little smaller than expected but it made up for that with location, amenities and an amazing view! Despite a rainy week we were able to make the most of Lake Placid since the condo is in good proximity to town and hiking trails. Owner thought of everything you might need. This is definitely a great option for a small family or couples.

Great visit and rental

The condo was clean, cozy, and communication with Margaret was exactly what you’d want. Lake Placid was aweosme! The marina makes it convenient to rent paddle boards and kayaks ($35/hour). Only thing I’d say about the marina restaurant is that they closed the entire place for a wedding you couldn’t even get an iced tea from about 4:00 one day until about 1:00 the next day. That was disappointing because we really wanted to hang out on the upper deck overlooking water. But it’s a great place when it was open all other times!
