Lake Placid Lodge, ett 5-stjärnigt Relais and Chateau Resort, erbjuder Maggie's Pub och Artisan Restaurant. Moose Lodge Boathouse ligger också inom gångavstånd vid småbåtshamnen och öppet Memorial Weekend genom Labor Day. Downtown Lake Placid ligger 3 km bort med affärer, restauranger, gallerier, en biograf, Olympiska arenan, mässan för hästshow, skidhopp och bobslädelöp. Utförsskidåkning ligger 20 minuter bort på Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort. PLATS, PLATS, PLATS !!!
- Cape Air flyger till Saranac Lake Airport, 8 miles från lägenheten. Direktflyg planeras flera gånger om dagen från Boston. Flygningen tar drygt en timme.

April vaca getaway

Nice spot with gorgeous views. I could sit on the deck and read my book all day. Kitchen and appliances were updated and modern. Everything was very clean. Bed pillows were laughably flat.

Beautiful view

The view from the balcony was beautiful with a glass of wine in the afternoon. Very peaceful. Had a wonderful time exploring the Adirondacks and staying at Margaret’s place. A lot of room for the two of us. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, dishes and all the utensils you need to cook with. We would definitely stay there again.

Overlook Perch met all our expectations. The views were amazing, and the "information book" was very helpful. The unit was well appointed, and comfortable. The host is awesome! Would recommend to others!

Great stay

Overall this condo is great for 3-4 people. It’s a little smaller than expected but it made up for that with location, amenities and an amazing view! Despite a rainy week we were able to make the most of Lake Placid since the condo is in good proximity to town and hiking trails. Owner thought of everything you might need. This is definitely a great option for a small family or couples.

Beautiful condo with mountain and lake views!

My wife and I had a wonderful weeklong stay. The unit has everything you need and the host was very friendly and responsive. We loved the views and the fireplace. Town is very close by as well. The only problem was that we didn’t book long enough. We hope to be back soon!

Excellent Experience

Great Stay at Overlook Perch

Had a great stay with my two teenage daughters. The setup of the condo was excellent and has everything you'll need to have a great time in Lake Placid. Well appointed with everything and a great deck with view of Lake Placid. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again when we return. Margaret was also great to deal with and had excellent communication.

The perfect space

I rented this house for ironman week because I didn't want to deal with the crowd in the village. Everything in the house is perfect, I love watching the sunrise and whiteface every morning. Cannot wait to come back again!!

Wonderful Stay in Lake Placid!

We had a lovely stay after Christmas through New Years. Our family has been to Lake Placid many times in the summer but this was our first trip in the winter and it was so much fun. The condo was beautifully decorated and so cozy and comfortable, I didn't want to leave. The kitchen was gorgeous, as were the bathrooms. Margaret was a great host who went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect, and it was!

Cabin coziness

If you want a cozy cabin in the woods this is it! Amazing views. Fireplace. Log cabin interior. Truly magical. Two bathrooms are a perk! Also snow and scenic creek and bridge right outside the door. Highly recommend.

Ski weekend

Beautiful condo, fantastic views of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. My wife loved the heated floors in the bathrooms. Communication with Margaret was great so was her instructions for check-in. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Incredible vacation spot!

This property is absolutely stunning, and the condo itself has an incredible view of Lake Placid and Whiteface. We were visiting for the Ironman, and were so busy in town that we never ended up picking up beach badges, but we thoroughly enjoyed the condo. We hosted our friends for dinner two nights, one at the restaurant on the lake (a quarter mile walk), and another takeout after the Ironman. Our kids and our friends loved being here! It was roomy enough for our two families (8 people) to hang out and eat. The condo itself also has so many nice touches, such as heated bathroom floors and towel racks, an enormous soaking tub, and generally well-stocked kitchen. It was also nice to be just on the outskirts of town but only a 5 minute drive to downtown. We will certainly be back; it was so peaceful and restorative!

Perfect Adirondac getaway

We found this unit to be perfectly appointed in every respect for our. Looking out the living room window to the frozen lake, new fallen and the snow covered mountains was tranquilizing and restorative. We had the perfect winter extended weekend. We felt completely isolated, yet so close to everything we needed, from the 24 hour Price Chopper supermarket where we bought plenty of firewood for the charming fireplace, to all the pleasures of Main Street Lake Placid, and of course Whiteface. where we had fresh powder to enjoy. I can enthusiastically recommend this beautiful unit, and hope to return again soon
