Enclosed garden with terrace and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Visit England 4 Star. Please note: There are steps and drops within the garden.. An excellent location, quiet and peaceful yet within a few minutes’ walk from shops and the path to the fells. Ramblers’ Cottage offers a most comfortable home from home from which to enjoy this delightful area. Bowness village and its wonderful mix of shops, cafés and restaurants is on your doorstep and easy access to fabulous walks, lake cruises and cycling make the location of Ramblers’ Cottage ideal for those wanting to explore the region. It is also convenient for the ferry and train should the urge take you to explore further afield.

Ramblers’ Cottage is well presented and offers accommodation to benefit families and groups of friends alike. The cottage was lovely & well equipped, the beds were very comfortable which is great as I usually s

The cottage was lovely & well equipped, the beds were very comfortable which is great as I usually struggle when go away. Steep walk from Bowness up the hill but managed it, even with a weak leg! The Angel Inn pub at the bottom of the hill is very nice, would recommend that too. All in all a great stay & would book again when coming to Bowness.
