A modern ground floor apartment, surrounded by all that Cumbria has to offer.. 1 step to entrance.

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Rear garden with sitting out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Ideally situated between Keswick, Kendal and Kirkby Stephen in an unspoilt tranquil location. Situated in the village of Shap, known locally as the âGateway to the Fells and Lakesâ, being on the eastern edge of the Lake District National Park and close to the second largest lake in the Lake District - Ullswater.
The village offers a wide range of amenities including a good selection of pubs, shops, a public outdoor heated swimming pool, a childrenâs play area and tennis courts. The Eden Valley provides superb walking and cycling, and the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales are easy to visit too.
The atmospheric, rugged area of Haweswater, 8 miles, has a viewpoint for golden eagles, pretty villages and bustling market towns abound, with a lively calendar of farmersâ markets and county shows. There is plenty of local produce to purchase or enjoy in the many restaurants and pubs serving regional favourites. There is also excellent road access to the historic border city of Carlisle with its castle and museum, and Hadrianâs Wall, a World Heritage Site, has interesting exhibitions to visit. The Northumberland National Park and southern Scotland are both within an hourâs drive. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
