A room with a view
Wonderfully situated, overlooking the beach and old town Albufeira is this lovely top floor apartment with plenty of room for the family and easy access by foot to the shops and restaurants. The furniture is simple but practical, the bathroom is small but clever. José is a very good host, he emailed and called to give information about an ongoing petroleum strike, even though it clearly wasn’t his responsibility.
Not much on the down side. The check in could perhaps had been a little more convenient, we had to wait about 30 min past the agreed time for a non-english speaking woman to open the door and give us the keys. There are a few parking spaces outside the building but none that belongs to the apartment, so chances are they’re all occupied and you have to park up on the main road.
That said, we had a wonderful time in this great, affordable apartment!
