Squam Lake Classic Waterfront Home

På stranden av den vackra Squam-sjön i Kesumpe Cove är den här egenskapen perfekt för en stor grupp som familjeåterförening. Det finns 6 sovrum, inklusive ett fembädds "bunk" rum.
För båtliv finns en gemensam brygga med en dedikerad båtslipning. Ta med egen båt eller hyra från en av flera marinor i stan.
Håll dig nära och njut av samtalet av lommar från verandaen eller våga längre nerför sjön. Du kan simma ut hamnen till den närbelägna flotten. Tvärs över huvudvägen njut av en vandring på Sandwich Range eller ta en kort bilresa till Rattlesnake Mountain för fantastisk utsikt över sjön från bergsytan. Många bra restauranger inom en kort bilresa. Ett populärt område för cykling också. För barn är Squam Lakes Science Center bara en kilometer nerför vägen.
Vi föredrar backgammon, brädspel eller pussel vid sjön, men kabel-TV och Wi-Fi finns tillgängliga. Staden Holderness ligger bara 1 kilometer bort för shopping.
Närliggande attraktioner inkluderar Lake Winnepesauke, Vita bergen, med vandring längs Appalachian Trail och outlet shopping i North Conway.
Squam sjöarna är kända för magnifika bergslandskap och orörd skönhet. Området kring 7 700 hektar klart vatten och 65 miles av strandlinjen är Lakes Region en underbar miljö för att uppleva en sommar oförglömliga minnen. Fiske, segling och paddling finns precis utanför dörren.

Spent another wonderful week on Squam! Camp Swan was set up for us - clean and ready to go. Love having direct access to the lake - to swim, kayak or boat. A short drive away and we can climb Morgan, Percival, or the Rattlesnakes. An ideal location for our active family!! Looking forward to next year!

Quintessential Squam Heaven

We love Squam Lake and are so delighted that the Alvords shared their beautiful home with us. They are so friendly and responsive. Their home is just what a Squam lake home should be. Amazing screened in porch, confortable bedrooms, kitchen with everything you need and cozy ambiance. This is our second stay and we're already planning the next!

Beautiful house right on the lake. Lots of room for our family of 10. Owner was very helpful and got right back to us for any questions we had. We have stayed there for 4 years and hope to return again next year

Great times with family & friends on Squam!

Enjoyed yet another glorious week on Squam at the Alvord Swan camp. Lots of hiking and boating, found some calm coves to swim in and new hiking trails for exercise! A Very relaxing and enjoyable time with family and friends. Already looking forward to next year!

Rock the Dock

Great place tucked in the pine trees of Big Squam Lake. Massive dock is great for fishing, docking and entertaining. House has plenty of space for sleeping, entertaining the family and a real woodburning fireplace. We enjoy Camp Swan!

Wonderful Lake House!

This was everything you could ask for in a lake house on beautiful Squam Lake. Everything was clearly communicated from booking to check-in and all the instructions for our stay. The amenities were just what we needed and we already miss swimming in the Lake. Thank you Susan and George!

Wedding weekend

We stayed here for a Sept wedding with 8 family members. The house was great, clean and well furnished in old Squam camp style. The owners were very friendly and always available. Overall a great stay. Be advised that there is no dishwasher! A problem when there are 8 people. Not disclosed earlier.

Wonderful camp on Squam

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Camp Swan. Susan and George are wonderful hosts and provide a spacious, well maintained, well outfitted large rustic camp on Squam Lake. We enjoyed boating, relaxing, and spending good time with family and friends.

Big Bass Right Off The Huge Dock!

Yes, my nearly 4 year old caught a 2 lb bass with a Snoopy rod right off the end of the dock! Very classic place with a very nice camp feel to it. Great living room fireplace but didn't need it this week because we were blessed with really great weather. House is large enough for our mixed group of 13 with ages from 2.5 to 75. Nice upgrade this year is the double fridges in the kitchen with ice making capability. Screened porch with another upgrade of more comfy porch furniture is key to enjoy the evening without the bugs. Located on Big Squam less than a mile as the crow flies to the Squam channel connecting to Little Squam makes it convenient for boat gas and the General Store if you need. This was our 5th year with our great hosts and will continue in perpetuity if they let us. Great spot, big house, nice reactive hosts, all the things you need to have a relaxing vacation. Our family has been vacationing on Squam for 44 consecutive years. Of all the places we've stayed, this home is one of the best!

Amazing squam

We love our two weeks at the Alvord’s and they do not disappoint. The house is always clean and ready for us. They always have improvements from the year before. And they are so easy to deal with. Feels like going to a family cottage not one we rent. Can’t wait for next year.

Fall Escape on the Lake

The owners communicate so well and are so caring! Camp Swan was a wonderful experience for us, a family of 5 including a teenager. We visited in early October and experienced cooler temperatures so we built fires in the evening to keep us warm, although the rooms do have individual heaters. The location was so peaceful and we loved walking outside and onto the dock with our morning coffee and to look at the moon in the evenings even if it was 37 degrees! The Camp has many rooms and beds to accommodate families and friends. The driving time to the Flume and Basin was just under an hour. The car ride in the fall was beautiful and was definitely worth it. If you need space and want to be outside of the bustling city, stay here for a wonderful outdoor retreat!

Ideal lake house

We had a wonderful time at George and Susan's camp on Squam Lake. The home is spacious, clean, full of character, and ideally located on the lake. George and Susan were excellent hosts, answering our questions before out stay. We look forward to staying there again!
