Cosy one-bed barn conversions, full of original character with vaulted oak-beam ceilings and traditional wood burning stoves.
The Hayloft, Old Barn & Stable each has a mezzanine sleeping loft upstairs - open plan living/dining room downstairs, along with dressing room & bathroom with bath/shower.

Perfect for couples or a small family (2-4ppl)
Standard tariff includes 2 guests - add up to 2 extra guests on a sofabed in Optional Extras
Travel cot available - see optional extras to book
Set in a private courtyard with 1 parking space per cottage
Patio area with bench seating plus access to a large communal garden adjacent.

We include a welcome selection of hot drinks & biscuits, Arran Aromatics toiletries (available to purchase at the end of your stay) plus cloths, tea towels, cleaning and dishwashing items to make your stay more comfortable.

Cosy well equipped cottage in stunning location

Cosy and comfortable cottage in an amazing location. We stayed as a couple with our dog and the cottage had everything you could need. George responsive when there was a problem. Will definitely be back.

A lovely comfortable cottage with everything we wanted

A much needed and relaxing few days within walking distance to the beach, a bath and a large bed, comfortable sitting area and a well equipped kitchen, the toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch.

Couldn't be better!

We just love the cottage staying in the same one year after year since 2008!! Though self catering you can book breakfasts at the hotel across the road where staff are both acommodating and friendly too.

We enjoyed the week

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped ,which suited my wife and I. It was in the middle of the village, handy for everything with a pleasant garden attached which also gave access to the Hotel across the road. Walking in the area and with access to the Coast Path gave plenty of choice walks together with close proximty to well known landmark places.

Lovely cottage and great base

Second visit to this collection of cottages and it confirmed my positive impression from my first visit. Stayed with a group in Rose Cottage last time and this time I was with my husband in the Hayloft. On both occasions, the house was spotless and had everything we needed. And we think Embleton is a wonderful base for exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast; it's great to be able to walk to such a lovely beach, its excellent shop and places to eat. Thanks again to George & team.

Spacious room and ground floor in a peaceful environment

Spacious ground floor. Clean. Liked bath and shower. Bonus. Parking is good. Access to communal laundry is good. Convenient for excellent walking and close to coast .

The Hayloft is the most perfect little cottage you could ever wish to stay in.

We loved everything about the cottage..... we couldn't have stayed in a nicer place. Everything is perfect...... the location, the quietness, the cottage has everything you need for your stay....... plus the fact that you can park off the road directly outside the front door. We would recommend Rose Cottages to anyone.

Dream location more than compensates for slightly tired interior

Amazing location just a short walk to one of the best beaches in Northumberland. Charming village shop and great pub just a few yards away. Great communication from George. Perfect location to explore north or south.

Perfect stay second stay at Rose Cottages

Everything we needed was in the cottage. It was quiet, clean and tidy. We stayed in The Stable which was a perfect size for two people and two large dogs. Only thing i would say is that the sofa needs to be bigger or at least have some kind of pouffe but its not a massive big deal, just makes it more comfy in the evening after a day of walking
