Really enjoyable, a great base to explore and enjoy Embleton

Great base to visit Northumberland coast from

The cottage is located close to village amenities and a pleasurable walk to the beach which has amazing views. The cottage is just the perfect size for two people. Our second stay at Rose cottages.

Absolutely fantastic very clean and comfortable.

Everything was excellent, we have stayed here three times now and quite simply fantastic. The communication was first class the accommodation was clean and spacious and an excellent location. I would certainly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Excellent, cosy converted farm building with mezzanine bedroom, ideal for two people a and a dog.

Close to decent pubs, and an excellent village shop. In the heart of Embleton Near to the coast road, and just a 10 - 15 minute walk to the beach and some excellent coastal walks..

Lovely cosy cottage idea get away.

Another peaceful and tranquil stay at Embleton.

We stopped at the Dunstanborough Castle cottages the previous year (Policeman Cottage 2) and had a wonderful time, so booking again was not an issue. This year we booked The Stable across the road. On arrival everything was ready for us, we settled in. As it got colder the heating came on and we then found out it was not working correctly. I contacted George, who was there within 5mins. After some investigation George had to move us to Policeman Cottage 2! A great service and much appreciated.

Perfect sized accommodation for 2 in an ideal location.

Everything spotlessly clean and working, very warm and cosy. A few constructive pointers that you maybe won't notice with normal servicing day to day: The fridge has seen better days, the door bottle holder is broken It's almost too warm - the underfloor heating works well, but doesn't seem to be very controllable, the thermostat doesn't make any difference. A couple more coat pegs would be welcome.

Just blissful!!

I just had exactly what I needed. Cottage was perfect & the location is sensational & I will definitely be back & in fact I would love to bring a big family group & am hoping to organise this for next year!! The only minor quibble was that i actually found the tv to be a bit temperamental to switch on & this is despite me usually being pretty good with tech but honestly this was such a minor point & everything else was bliss

We love staying at Rose Cottage in Embleton.

Staying at Rose Cottage provides us with everything that we need: consistently excellent, comfortable accommodation; an ideal base from which to walk all the Northumberland Coast Paths and beaches, from Embleton Bay North to Beadnell and South to Alnmouth and Warkworth; use of the nearby Village Farm Shop; meals at: the Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel; The Joiners Arms - High Newton-by-the-Sea; The Ship Inn - Low Newton-by-the-Sea; The Jolly Fisherman - Craster, and Bertram’s - Warkworth.

Couldn't be better!

This wasn't our first visit,actually I've forgotten how many times we have stayed in Rose Cottages. In a quiet idyllic village with close proximity to the most beautiful beach in the country. Lovely cottage ideal for couples or small families and especially if you have a dog with you. Good meals available at the hotel over the road and their staff are most welcoming too.
