Fantastic view, spartan conditions

The view is beyond incredible, however we struggled with lack of hot water (you have to wait for it for 5 minutes and then it would last for 3 minutes) so it was impossible to take hot shower and we had to heat water on the stove and in the kettle - old fashion way. It was a bit cold inside in April. The new addition to the original house (kitchen with the grill, sunroom with the huge ottaman)

Relax

Nice, sweet all you need! We had a great time and were flashed by the great view. Every morning sunrise from bed and breakfast in front of the ocean. It‘s a lil rustical but so sweet and lovely!

You will never find this again, anywhere

The steps from the parking lot to the front door are a challenge, but I’m 70 and I did it. The reward is an experience you will never duplicate anywhere else. The waves crash against the shore 10 feet from your head as you lay in bed. Sounds trite, but you are truly one with nature. There is no one else around. Just you. Both daunting and glorious at the same time.

A place to unwind and view the stars

The house is located on the eastern edge of Sao Miguel. The view of the ocean, gorgeous coastline, and the stars at night are spectacular. It is a bit of a drive to get places, so pack sufficient food. The house is rustic and situated in the middle of lush vegetation, so expect some "natural" elements in the house. The outside deck is fabulous for lounging or eating on warm nights. The house has everything you need, including a washing machine. There are quite a few steps to climb to get to the parking area. The house is isolated and very quiet, a great place for truly unwinding.

Three days in paradise

The area is an absolute treasure with incredible views and a sense of solitude. The property is like a cottage, with a rustic feel, with all the amenities you need. We loved it!

Traumhafte Lage mit Weitblick

Das Haus liet traumhaft an der Steilküste über dem Meer. Wir konnten sowohl innen als auch auf der Terrasse den Blick über den Atlantik schweifen lassen. So waren wir auch als es mal regnete nicht eingeschränkt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht. Einzig einen Sonnenschutz für die Terrasse

Traumhafter Ausblick

Wir haben jeden Tag in diesem Ferienhaus genossen und uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Vom Sonnenaufgang am Morgen, bis zum Absacker auf der Terrasse mit diesem grandiosen Ausblick am Abend. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und es fehlte uns nichts. Gerne wieder!

Away from it all...

Away from it all, this house is a perfect escape. With nothing but the ocean in front of you, it is the ultimate relaxation experience. The stars at night are breathtaking. The house itself is well designed, and has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped and is clearly designed with much love. The inside grill is perfect for the fresh local fish. The outside terrace is big and very comfortable, many happy hours there. The outside shower (there is also an inside one) with the view of the ocean is a touch of genius. Thank you to the owners for sharing this magical spot with us.

Leuk huis op een geweldige locatie

Wir haben uns 2 Wochen sehr wohl gefühlt, für Naturliebhaber bestens geeignet. Anfragen an den Gastgeber Alain wurden sofort beantwortet. Seine Tips im Voraus per Videocall waren super. Für uns war ein Mangel bei 5 Personen die innenliegende Toilette, die vom Standard überholt werden könnte. Der fantastische Blick und das gepflegte Grundstück sind herausragend.

Secluded paradise with incredible sea view!

If you are looking for a quiet place by the sea to get away from it all and recharge your batteries, this is the ideal spot! It's truly magical to stay so close to the sea and wake up to the sunrise over the ocean. The house is remote but the size of the island allows you to explore the whole island from there. Wunderschöne, abgelegene Lokation mit unerwünschten Gästen

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Beira Mar. Schöne Aussicht, gemütliche Schlafbereiche, gute Ausstattung und super Reisetipps im vorangegangenen Zoom-Call. Leider hatten wir während unseres Aufenthaltes ungebetene, tierische Gäste, die unsere Stimmung während des Aufenthaltes etwas trübten. Darum kümmert sich Alain wohl demnächst.

Eine Woche Meer

Die Lage ca. 40 m über dem Meer ist wirklich einzigartig, man wacht morgens mit einem Blick auf das Meer und den Sonnenaufgang auf. Abends kann man mit Blick auf das Meer Abendessen. Natürlich hört man das Meer deutlich, vor allem wenn der Wind auffrischt donnert die Brandung unter uns. Alain empfahl uns Ohrenstöpsel - wir haben sie aber nicht gebraucht ;) Alain hat das alte kleine Haus - das im Inneren weiter besteht- deutlich erweitert und die gesamte ehemalige Veranda eingehaust. Zudem hat er einen neuen Außenbereich geschaffen auf dem es sich sehr gut chillen läßt. Küche war für uns sehr gut eingerichtet, die Pfannen nicht verkratzt und die Messer scharf. Alain war jederzeit sehr (!) hilfreich zu erreichen. Die sehr hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit setzt natürlich Menschen und Häusern zu. Wir waren aber noch auf Faial, dort war es ebenso. Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr eindrucksvolle Woche auf Sao Miguel und in Nordeste.

Super sejour a Beira Mar

Très satisfait de notre séjour La maison est très agréable et bien équipée. Quel bonheur de prendre une douche en exterieur avec la vue sur l'ocean! Alain a été très serviable, il nous a présenté l ile avant notre arrivée et nous a donné de tres bons conseils. Il faut absolument être véhiculé car l'emplacement est très reculé.

Tienes la sensación de estar en el fin del mundo pero en realidad estás bien comunicado. Un sitio excelente, que pondría en el TOP 10 de los apartamentos en los que he estado por todo el mundo. Las vistas y la carretera para llegar hasta él sitio son únicas.
