Vancouver stay

We stay via VRBO vs hotel for our family of five for one night before we start our Princess Cruise. The location was beautiful and convenient. The place was clean and locating the key was not too difficult. Nearby there were many options to walk around. It worked well for us.

Stylish, clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Great location and views. Walk or ride share easily. We didn't cook but the kitchen seemed to be well equipped. The unit is primarily south/southwest exposure so plenty of light.

In Van for AC/DC

Unique shape to condo lends to an exceptional view of the bay and downtown. Furnishings are comfortable and supply of dishes, cutlery, cookware was in good supply. Beds are spacious and welcoming to a restful sleep - they are recessed close to the floor. The condo itself is quiet and residents we met from neighbouring units helpful and friendly, Location is perfect point to explore waterfront, BC place, high end shopping and a quick Uber to Stanley Park and Granville Island. Highly recommend Jan and his condo.

All about location

Property is centrally located to everything and very easy to walk or short ride to almost all of the things. Our only negative was the beds, pillows and linens are not comfortable at all and very used but that may be personal preference. If in Vancouver I would possibly stay here again.

Spring break trip

Great location in the middle of the city, and it has parking! We walked a lot, but nice to have our car available for day trips out. Had a really nice time!

Lovely condo with a gorgeous view

We stayed here for a few days after finishing our Alaska cruise. Absolutely a lovely place and the view from the 25th floor over Vancouver and all the way to the harbor was stunning! We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful accommodations!

Very clean, well appointed unit conveniently located - perfect for our stay in Vancouver. Owner communicated well - we enjoyed interacting with him. We would definitely stay at this property again and will recommend to friends/family.

Breathtaking views

This space blew me away. The views of the city, mountains and ocean were spectacular and the location was perfect. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Would love to come back!

Wonderful Location

Overall, the visit was wonderful. The location is ideal for walking the city, which what our desire was. The property was difficult to keep cool at times, so we found ourselves sleeping with the doors and windows open in the evenings.

Beautiful Island in the sky

Perfect venue for a Vancouver trip. Privacy for me and my two adult grandsons + a friend. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed.

Beautiful property

The condo was amazing and had so much space! We were able to visit and hang out in the evenings without feeling like we were on top of each other. The windows and view were breathtaking. The doornan was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Apartment contained everything we needed and was in a great central position.

After travelling over 24 hours from Melbourne, it was a delight to be greeted with a "home away from home" - with all the little extras we needed already in the cupboards/fridge (from spices to ketchup to coffee). Thanks Jan for your great communication and lovely apartment.

Location great but noisy for us

This location is walking distance to just about everything. With that being said and never visiting Vancouver before, we are not used to all the traffic and siren noise. The unit above or next to the master bedroom was doing some form of remodel so during the day there was some tapping and grinding sounds. The view is good, beds were comfortable, plenty of room for our family of 4 adults.

Great apartment

We loved this apartment. It was perfect for a group of colleagues attending a conference at the convention center. It was nice to have a short walk (about 15 minutes) each day. The communication with the owner was very clear. The apartment itself was very nice and comfortable.

Fantastic view

Up: Fantastic city and ocean view. We enjoyed the view every morning at breakfast and the sunset every night. Very walkable neighborhood, no need to drive if you need to explore downtime. Very comfortable beds, yes, they are firm thus we slept very well! Small apartment but had all amenities for a comfortable stay for a family of 4. Down: The AC didn’t cool down the apartment very much, luckily there were 2 fans, and opening the balcony door helped.

The apartment is very clean and its a great neighborhood. The signage in apartment is not exactly welcoming, more business-like and firm warnings about the AC, towels and linens, etc... The master BR mattress is hard as a rock. Overall was a good place to stay though, as long as you are aware of the above.

Great view/location - lousy AC

Enjoyed the views and location very much. The AC did a poor job (initially) of keeping the place habitable. After getting a hold of owner and being allowed to set AC cooler all was fine. Breath taking views! Beds are futons and very low to the floor which can be interesting. Bed sheets were not the highest quality. Location makes central city an easy walk away.

Great location with amazing views

The condo was in a great location and had great views of the city and water. It served our purpose as a home base to explore Vancouver, but could have offered a bit more. When winding down in the evenings, we could only watch 1 kid channel; due to the cable tv remote not working. There was only 1 tv in the condo (bedrooms didn’t have a tv). The condo lighting could be improved as it primarily lighted by lamps or insufficient fixtures (not an issue during the day with the floor to ceiling windows allowing daylight). Check-in and checkout process is horrible!!! You have to pickup/dropoff the condo key from a convenient store, 2 blocks from the condo (there's no parking at the store and without the key you can't park at the condo). You have to use an app to access the key cafe box within the store. There's no one to assist you, but the owner provides very detailed instructions in an email. The key pickup/dropoff is by far the worst checkin/checkout experience I've ever seen. The number of beds, location and views really help with overlooking the negatives, but those could easily be addressed.

Very nice but not quite five stars

On the plus side, the location is excellent. Spectacular views. Everything is walkable. We rented a car but we barely used it. On the down-side, the unit is right across the street from a hospital so there are a lot of ambulance sirens. The check-in process is rather involved, and when we arrived the closets were completely full of the owner's belongings so we had no place to hang clothes. However, the owner was very responsive and everything was eventually taken care of. The listing contains one major inaccuracy: it says that there is a pool, and there is, but we were not actually allowed to use it. It was for hotel guests only.
