With a traditional red sandstone exterior, the cottage inside is full of creature comforts with two bedrooms (one with ensuite shower room) and a spacious yet cosy lounge, complete with wood burner.

The stylish kitchen/diner is well-equipped with a Rangemaster cooker and a large farmhouse dining table, perfect for lingering over a good meal.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms - one with an ensuite shower room, and each with a double bed. There’s also a family bathroom with a bathtub, ready for relaxing after an action-packed day out in Angus.

Kirk Wynd Cottage is within walking distance of Kirriemuir town centre, renowned for its traditional red sandstone houses and cobbled streets. Kirriemuir is perhaps most famous for being the birthplace of Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie, and also AC/DC frontman Bon Scott - you’ll find statues of both Peter Pan and Bon in the town!

Known as the ‘Gateway to the Glens’, Kirriemuir is the perfect base for exploring the Angus region, whether you’re travelling with family or friends. Take a short drive to the stunning Angus Glens, where you can enjoy walking, cycling, fishing, stalking, or bag a Munro or two. If the beach is more your scene, there are also beautiful East Coast beaches like Broughty Ferry and Lunan Bay within easy reach.

Kirriemuir also boasts an 18-hole golf course with scenic views north to Glen Clova and Glen Doll.
