As featured on Escape to the Country season 24 Elidyr Cottage is a striking, semi-rural detached property with distant views over Amroth bay from its beautifully kept gardens. Elidyr makes the perfect base for families who are looking for the tranquility of a rural setting whilst still being just a short drive from the busy harbour towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot. This property is a short 20 minute walk to the beautiful sea front in Amroth where you can walk along the front and enjoy many of the lovely restaurants and pubs the village has to offer. The ground floor comprises of an open plan country kitchen and dining room finished to the most comfortable standard and the perfect setting in which to unwind and relax with family and friends. The interconnected lounge has a large fireplace and comfortable seating, there is also a bathroom convieniently set on ground level with the added benefit of a walk in shower. On the first floor to your left there is a beautifully presented king sized master suite and a double room just opposite. There is a third bedroom which is a comfortable sized twin and a family bathroom containing a shower over bath providing you with the best of both worlds. Within the garden there is a covered hot tub to soak away your worries after a busy day of exploring, with outdoor seating in addition to a generous off road car parking area with plenty of room for two or more vehicles. This property also has a lockable garage which you are free to use, perfect for storing bikes. Elidyr Cottage is very close to many popular tourist attractions Pembrokeshire has to offer including Colby Woodland Gardens. Please note: One well behaved dog is welcome but not to be left alone or on any furniture.

Exit the A48 onto the roundabout taking the second exit onto the A40. Take the first exit at the next roundabout and continue on the A40. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A477, after 8 miles turn left just past the BP garage in Llanteg, after 0.3 miles turn right, after half a mile you will find Elidyr Cottage on your right.

Elidyr Cottage, Amroth

Elidyr Cottage in Amroth is a beautiful place to stay with lovely views looking across fields and the sea in the distance. I recently stayed with my daughter and her young family, which was perfect. Close to Amroth, Tenby and Saundersfoot although you need a car to get there, Tenby has excellent beaches. Dinosaur Park near Tenby is a great day out for all and Colby Woodland gardens is beautiful and relaxing and has a nice tearoom and arts and crafts gallery. The cottage is very clean and well equipped with a hot tub as an added bonus. We would definitely stay again.

Stunning property. Fabulous views

The property is really stunning. The decor is gorgeous and practical. You have everything you need for an effortless stay. The property is located on a tight road that leads to the beach. There is plenty of parking at the bottom of the road by the beach, which is free. Further along the beach front you will come across a few shops and pubs, which all serve great food. Amroth is a really lovely place to stay and close to Tenby and Saundersfoot. I would highly recommend this property.
