Stunning modern Victorian townhouse in Islington with enormous garden
This is a fabulous, large family townhouse that has undergone recent renovation in the heart of Highbury (Islington) with easy access to central London.
Architect-designed, the star attraction is our bright and airy lower ground floor with a beautiful modern kitchen and dining area with a double-height ceiling. It's fully equipped with a double oven, separate large fridge and freezers, a dishwasher and everything a keen chef would need.
The dining area leads out to a landscaped courtyard with a pond and outdoor table and then beyond to the outdoor kitchen / BBQ area and huge garden - complete with a mini silver birch forest. This is a garden rarely seen in central London!
Inside, on the raised ground floor is a cozy reception room with large comfy sofas for TV watching and relaxing.
There are 4 bedrooms for guests.
Lower ground floor: A double bedroom with King Size bed with a wet room shower/toilet next to it. This room is suitable for visitors with mobility issues and wheelchair accessible for the whole of the lower ground floor (kitchen/dining/patio) though there are 6 steps down from street level to the lower ground floor entrance.
Raised ground floor: A room with a large single bed and desk which could also be used as a study.
Second floor: A room with a double bed and a separate small single bed (this is the best room for kids). There's a large family bathroom next door with a freestanding bath and shower.
Third floor: A double room with a King size bed. The washing machine is on this floor next to this bedroom.
Islington is a central neighbourhood from which to explore London's attractions. Our closest tube stations are Canonbury, Highbury & Islington or Arsenal - it takes 25 minutes to get into the West End.

We're a creative couple with a couple of kids. We love cooking, galleries, walks and nature and have travelled extensively staying in other peoples' rentals so we know what you need and what you don't!

Islington is amazing for both families and those who want a bit of easy access to central London life but want a slightly more residential vibe with good cafes, restaurants and shops.
Vad som gör detta boende unikt
Our house melds new and old with a modern extension but lots of period charm. Our double height living/dining room floods the space with light and we enjoy hanging out in the garden in the Summer.
