Cider Press - sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom
Cider Press Cottage is one of our most popular homes, It is a light, airy cottage with an amazing outlook and views across the gardens and fields, perfect for 2 guests. It is on one level making it suitable for wheelchair users or for guests who prefer not to use stairs and the patio doors lead directly onto its own terrace area with a table and seating.
The living/dining room has a vaulted ceiling with original exposed beams and overlooks the gardens.
The kitchen has a full-sized oven, hob, toaster and microwave. The fridge/freezer is undercounter and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a home from home experience.
The king bedroom has a large ensuite bathroom which has a corner bath with handheld shower and a wall mounted shower. It also has lower-level light switches in all rooms.
Parking is at the rear of the cottage.
Cider Press cottage works well with Old Hop Kiln for multigenerational holidays.
It is set in lovely gardens with 6 other houses all with very different characters and decor.
General information about all cottages
Bed linen is included (beds will be made ready for arrival). Towels are supplied along with tea towels, oven gloves and a kitchen hand towel.
Gardens - Guests have access to 3 different gardens all with seating areas along with BBQs and firepits, ample free parking along with free WiFi.
WiFi - All cottages have free 'Faster broadband' WiFi and login codes are provided on arrival.
We have been active in the implementation and maintenance of systems/practices that reduce our carbon footprint. We do operate a general/recycling option for household waste. We also operate a treatment plant that treats wastewater on site for our properties that aren't connected to the main sewer system and our biomass heating system offers unlimited heating using locally manufactured wood pellets (from local woodland) ensuring your cottage is as warm and comfortable as can be.
There are 2 local pubs. 1 is 1/2 mile away towards Worcester and the other is 3/4 mile towards Hereford. There are no pavements or walking paths to either of these pubs but are easily accessible by car.
We are happy to accept supermarket deliveries from Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda if required. Cradley has a really well stocked local shop/off licence.

Simon and I moved from Bishops Frome in 2010 to Whitewells Farm. We also owned a local pub at the time, but felt that we needed to look towards slowing down slightly work wise! This business gave us an opportunity to still meet people without the difficulties that come with owning and running a multi award winning pub.
Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
Living just 5 miles down the road, we saw on a daily basis the wonderful countryside and views everytime we travelled to Malvern and thought how amazing it would be to see the hills and valleys every day
Vad som gör detta boende unikt
Our homes were the first holiday barn conversion in Herefordshire in 1978. Walking into the gardens you immediately feel your shoulders relax - this is a comment made by many of our guests. When returning from a day out so many of them say how lovely it is to be back home!
