The living areas in this converted barn consist of a first-floor open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, dining area and sitting area with Smart TV, woodburning stove and juliet balcony. There is one king-size bedroom serviced by a shower room. Outside there is off-road parking available and a gravelled garden with furniture, fire pit and barbecue. Within 1.1 miles there is a shop and 0.7 miles a pub. Two well-behaved pets are welcome but sorry, no smoking. Great walks in scenic countryside with views of Morecambe Bay and the southern Lake District can be found all around the city. The deepest, widest, and shortest canal in the world can be found here, and it makes for a great afternoon stroll with a pub and bay views at its conclusion. Similarly, it's not hard to get to any of the National Park's sights. Furness Coast is known for its sandy beaches and excellent birdwatching. South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Lakes Windermere and Coniston, and the ever-popular Birkrigg Common, which offers breathtaking views of Morecambe Bay, are all within easy driving distance and perfect for a family outing.
