Newly refurbished, lower ground floor one-bedroom apartment. Clean, modern with minimal decor, the appartmenthas everything you need for a short/long break in the heart of London. Close to restaurants, cafes, convenient stores, supermarkets, and pharmacies and only 5 minutes walk from the transportation hubs of Paddington and Lancaster Gate. London apartment-Convenient location

This is a conveniently located London apartment for visitors who want easy walking to Hyde Park and surrounding areas. The host was attentive and very pleasant. The Pros: the apartment is in a great location and we found it to be clean with quality bed and bath linens. The bed pillows were nice quality and comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics. The cons: the apartment was not very comfortable for our needs. One of us slept on the futon and one on the bed. The futon was tolerable and the bed was possibly comfortable if you like a very firm mattress. The apartment photos show two comfortable looking living room chairs. Those are no longer in this apartment. The one chair in the living room is not comfortable at all, so we just could not relax there. Though this was not advertised, a really nice addition would be to add a device attached to the TV to stream Netflix or other channels. I will share this and some other input with the hostess. It won’t take much improvement to make this a really great choice.

Flat near Paddington

I visited London as part of a European vacation trip with my wife and daughter. This flat is in a great location near Hyde Park and Paddington. It was clean and had all the necessary amenities for our time here. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely apartment in a lovely neighborhood

We were in London for a week and are so happy we had this lovely little apartment for our home base. Maggie was a most gracious hostess and very quick to respond to any questions we had. The neighborhood is amazing. Wonderful restaurants and only a few minutes walk to Paddington station. We can’t wait to go back and stay there again!

Cosy apartment

Absolutely loved my stay. Had all you need to cook with. Very warm and cosy apartment. Only issue was front door key, although owner exlained how to use it, often it would not work and took several tries to open door.Found this stressful, as I never knew if I could open it or not. Maybe a lockbox with key and one lock instead of three might be better?

Perfect Flat!!

This was the perfect flat for our trip to London. It was in a great neighborhood with easy access to the subway. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our hostess made us feel so welcome and gave us restaurant recommendations and tips. We would recommend to anyone.

Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay very much. Safe neighbourhood, supermarket and restaurants nearby, tube station moments away. The host was great - she even came over quickly to help us with an issue as we were off late to meet our trains. Highly recommend!

5 days in London

Once we found this flat we enjoyed it very much. The address over the main door was faint so we ended waking up and down the street a few times. It is close to Kensington palace park , close to the tube. It felt like staying in a neighborhood. The one thing I miss as compared to a hotel is there is no one at the desk to ask questions. Also some flyers and tube/bus info would be nice.

Great Location, close to Paddington Station and Hyde Park

We had a great time staying at the flat. We were able to pick up the keys early and found the flat clean and furnished perfectly. The flat is on the ground floor and you need to go down some stairs on the outside. We are older folks and were able to manage. The bedroom is a little tight but since my aunt was staying in the bedroom it wasn’t too bad. I slept on the couch and it was comfortable. We only used the washer: dryer (it worked fine) so can’t comment on the stove or dishwasher. There are several deli’s near by and we just got our dinner there. The flat is only 5 minutes from Paddington station and 5 minutes from Hyde Park. It’s at the end of Serpentine Lake which I walked every morning. If you’re looking for a nice one bedroom flat near the underground, deli’s and grocery stores, you probably can’t do much better than staying here. We will definitely stay here in the future.

The Perfect Place

Most amazing place!

Our stay at this location was literally perfect. All the amenities you’d need, and a 7 min walk to Paddington station. From there you can get anywhere! Also so close to Hyde Park it feels just perfect being a part of the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

We love to cook so we definitely loved this place. Great access to the tube. Our only challenge was navigating Paddington Station as there are many exits. But that was on us!

Quick stay near Paddington Station

Enjoyed this basement apt in a great area for quick work trip. Near Paddington station and Hyde Park. Had more room than hotel and felt cozier in residential neighborhood.

Treated like family

First I wish to tell you about Maggie, our host. She is kind, friendly, gracious and down to earth. She invited my husband and me to spend Christmas Day with her friends at her apartment. We accepted and had a fabulous day/evening. Her warmth made our visit in London special. And we made new friends. Now for the property.. it is in a wonderful location. It’s a safe area just a few blocks from the Tube and Hyde Park. This neighborhood is filled with great restaurants- Italian, Persian, Japanese and Indian. There are convenient facilities just a block away- dry cleaners, small markets, wine/liquor store. The apt. has an open floor concept so u don’t feel cramped. It’s the perfect space for a couple. It’s a quiet, comfortable and welcoming space. I can’t think of anything negative. Again, I loved the location.

Could not have been happier

Great apartment convenient to Kensington Gardens, Paddington station (amongst others) and Notting Hill. Travelling with my elderly mother it was easy to have 2 rooms and a full kitchen. The steps were a bit slippery one day but not a problem. I'll be back

A nice place to spend your time in London

This apartment provides you a convenient base for your time visiting London. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood and provides you with convenient access to Paddington station and all of the London subway, about a 5 minute walk. There are many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance from the apartment. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is small but well appointed. The bed is comfortable to sleep in but it is a bit of a challenge to get out of because it is very low to the floor and it is in a very small room. There is a washer / dryer unit in the apartment so you can wash your clothes allowing for you to pack light. Communication with the host was quick and easy.

Great location and comfortable apartment.

We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed in this apartment. The bed is the only thing we could fault as it was hard to get in and out of, with no room either side. Apart from that, it was great.
