Lakeside Cabin offers an idyllic getaway for a couple looking to relax and explore this beautiful part of Oxfordshire, nestled in a picturesque rural location.. 2 steps to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:

Living area: 32" Freeview TV, Electric Fire
Dining area.
Kitchen area: 2-Ring Hob, Microwave, Fridge
Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Wrap-around verandah with garden furniture. Lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake and waterfall in the grounds, 75 yards away.. Set in the stunning gardens of the ownerâs grounds on a working farm is this unique idyllic open-plan cabin with an abundance of wildlife and lots of peace and quiet. The owners have decorated this property beautifully in a shabby chic style and made it a lovely comfortable cabin for a couple.
The wrap-around veranda provides a front-row seat to the beautiful 1Âœ acre gardens and lake which you are welcome to wander around and even featured on BBC2âs âGardeners Worldâ. The gardens are filled all year round with colour, beautiful plants, and an array of wildlife including red kites, kingfishers, rabbits, squirrels, woodpeckers, and pheasants all with a backdrop of grazing sheep, cattle, and ponies. This is the perfect getaway for couples who are looking for a romantic hideaway or a base from which to explore the beautiful area.
Located in rural Oxfordshire at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the local towns of Thame, Chinnor, Princes Risborough, Stokenchurch, and Watlington. The historic university city of Oxford is 18 miles away where you can wander round the colleges, go punting down the river or take a shopping trip in the Westgate shopping centre. The local train station at Princes Risborough, 6 miles away, takes you directly to the centre of London.
The Chilterns have an abundance of walking and cycling paths, and Lakeside Cabin is close to the historic Ridgeway Path. This area of Oxfordshire is well known for being used as a location for TV programs such as âMidsomer Murdersâ, âInspector Morseâ and âThe Vicar of Dibleyâ. There is an excellent local pub within walking distance from the property serving delicious food but for somewhere extra special, itâs just a short drive to Raymond Blancâs Le Manoir Aux Quats Saisons, a fantastic hotel and restaurant. Other places to visit include Bicester shopping village and many National Trust properties. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant Âœ mile.
