Spacious apartment in the heart of the historic center of Turin, a few steps from Piazza San Carlo.

The apartment, located on the first floor of a “casa di ringhiera” with an elevator, opens onto a large and cozy living room furnished with a sofa, an ottoman, a coffee table, a cabinet with TV and a dining table. Directly connected to the living room, the fully-equipped independent kitchen boasts a dining table, a kettle, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a juicer, a toaster and an espresso coffee machine. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, the first one featuring a king-size bed, a desk and a large closet, the second one with two single beds, a clothes rack and a walk-in closet. The master bedroom also has access to a small balcony overlooking the lively Via Lagrange. Two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub, complete the layout.

At guests' disposal amenities such as free wi-fi, washing machine, iron and central heating.

The wonderful city of Turin, capital of Piedmont and known for its chocolate, offers countless opportunities and experiences. The city is known for its refined architecture, in fact there are sumptuous Baroque buildings to admire overlooking Turin’s squares, like Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo. In the old town stands the Mole Antonelliana, one of the symbols of Italy, with the Royal Palace of Turin and Madama Palace. Turin offers attractions for every taste, from outdoor activities to gastronomy. For a walk in the greenery breathing the scent of flowers, guests can enjoy the Turin Botanical Garden located on the left side of the Po river, and the famous Valentino Park near the old town. Today the province is considered the best Italian center as regards chocolate processing, and every year the “Cioccolatò” event is inaugurated with parties, events and tastings. For a tasting of typical Piemontese dishes, do not miss Solferino and Consorzio restaurants.

The apartment is surrounded by supermarkets, shops and restaurants, and it is 20 km from Turin Caselle airport and 700 m from Turin Porta Nuova station.

Huge mistake in Central Torino

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment with air conditioning and 2 bathrooms. When we arrived, the agent said there was only air conditioning in the living room, not in the bedrooms. Next issue, that air conditioning did not work and it was 97 degrees in Torino that day. The toilet in one of the bathrooms was running continuously and would not flush. We gave the agent the right to have repair people come while we were in the apartment. The lessor, Wonderful Italy, said they had an alternative apartment for us on Plaza Vittorio Veneto. Great, we said, we wanted to see it before accepting it. Barbara our welcoming agent said she would be back by 4:00 to show it to us. At 4:30, 2 1/2 hours later, we are told the apartment's precise address. It is across the River Po, about 14 minutes (Google Maps) from Via Vittorio Veneto and 37 minutes from the original apartment. We said the address was unacceptable. Neither the air conditioning nor toilet had been repaired in the original apartment. We asked for our money back. Wonderful Italy said no We told Wonderful Italy, we would file a complaint with VRBO. They said "No Problem"

Excellent Accommodation + Location

We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights. The unit is spacious, well appointed, and had lots of storage for our things. The ceilings must be ~13 feet high. Even though the bedrooms face the street, sleeping was quiet. Having the kitchen was great and we used it often! The location is excellent for walking anywhere or taking the train from Porta Nuova. We would definitely stay again. Only minus is streaming and internet access in the evening - - it seems to be an issue with the infrastructure and not in the apartment because outside of evening hours it worked great. I'd also recommend a nut cracker in the kitchen. :)
