Step straight into the pool for a morning dip, relax in an acre of shaded gardens, admire the wildlife, lose yourself in stunning views and and after the sun goes down, literally be star struck! Visit the chateau, walk through beautiful countryside and go wild water swimming in the Dordogne river. All yours!

Set in a peaceful tranquil setting and within walking distance of this stunning 12th Century Château and the village of Biron, with it's restaurant and épicerie.

There is a private drive and parking and In addition, the village has an electric charging point just a short walk from the Gite.

The commune of Biron is located between the two 13th Century Bastide towns of Monpazier and Villeréal, both listed in 'Les Plus Beaux Villages de France'. Monflanquin and Belvès are also within a short drive.
The Dordogne and Lot rivers are within easy reach where you can kayak, canoe or swim. taking in the sights and many more Chateaux of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

The Gite has a small yet fully equipped kitchen, including all bedding, towels and toiletries. It is built on one level and has terraces from the two main bedrooms.

We are located just a 40 minute drive from Bergerac Airport and approximately a 2 hour trip from the airports of Bordeaux and Toulouse.

Amazing gite in a perfect location!

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful gite. The location was perfect- quiet and peaceful but within walking distance of two lovely retaurants and an epicerie. Lisa was there to welcome us and always on hand to answer any questions. 5 stars!

Un superbe havre de paix

Quel plaisir de retrouver la maison de Biron ! Le cadre est magnifique, reposant, calme. La maison offre tout le confort nécessaire. La piscine est un vrai bonheur pour se rafraîchir et se détendre. Lisa qui nous accueille est vraiment adorable et très à l’écoute. De très chouettes sites à visiter aux environs : le cloitre de Cadouin, les bastides de Monpazier, Monflanquin et Villeréal.et bien d’autres à découvrir .

Peace and quiet.

Property was excellent and very secluded. Well equipped too. The pool was the cleanest we have ever had. Lisa, the property manager, and partner Mike were a delight. Left us in peace but were easy to contact if needed. Wonderful two weeks and wouldnt hesitate to return.

Fabulous gite in most beautiful spot.

This gite was above and beyond expectations. Charming property that is very well equipped and immaculatey kept. It was a real wrench to leave. Fabulous area with lots to do and see. Lisa was charming and very helpful without being intrusive. No one would be disappointed with their stay here!

Nous venons de rentrer et nous avons passé de très belles vacances, une maison impeccable, et Julia est adorable, et très serviable.Une région que nous avons apprécié, avec toutes ces balades, et le must, un temps exceptionnel! Don't hesitate

Very nice cottage with all faciliyies and pretty big pool il the countryside. Ideally placed near all the bastides and châteaux. The housekeeper is friendly and available during the stay. Very quiet and lovely place.

What a beautiful place

Wat een mooi huisje op een perfecte locatie. Vlakbij het kleine dorpje en zicht op de de velden en de burcht, beter om tot rust te komen kon niet. Een De zeer vriendelijke huiseigenaren hadden werkelijk alles voorzien in het huis, om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Ook tijdens het verblijf was er mogelijkheid om in contact te blijven indien er vragen waren. Echt een aanrader en wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Un petit coin de paradis

Le cadre de cette petite maison au cœur de la Dordogne est idyllique. C’est un petit coin de paradis à l’abri des regards et tout en intimité. La vue est magnifique et paisible. Le jardin est entièrement clos et d’une très grande superficie. La piscine privée est superbe et très agréable lors des fortes températures. La maison est idéale : tout y est. Les prestations sont de qualité y compris le linge de maison (draps, serviettes de piscine, de bain …) rien ne manque. Le château de Biron est très chouette à visiter ainsi que les villages alentours. Petite épicerie avec pain à 5 min à pieds. Supermarché à 11km environ 15 min. Merci à Lisa pour son accueil et son sourire 😊 Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
