Located close to the centre of Rhosneigr village and just a three-minute walk to the beach and Boat Pool, Kiloran is a modern and quirky holiday home ideal for young families looking to enjoy a fun beach escape on Anglesey.
Kiloran features open-plan living area, kitchen, and conservatory. The living room has a large L-shaped sofa, a flat-screen smart TV, a vintage radio player, and a wood burner, perfect for cosy autumn-winter stays. The single-line kitchen is well equipped with ample cupboards and work surfaces. The conservatory includes a dining table for six, made from eco-friendly wood with recycled chairs and bench seating. The patio is accessible from the conservatory, has tub chairs and a BBQ for outdoor. Additionally on the ground floor is a bunk room ideal for children, with a full-size bunk bed, hanging space, and a separate toilet with sink.

The upstairs area includes a master bedroom furnished with a double pallet-style low bed and a twin bedroom with two single bamboo pallet-style beds, clothes storage, and hanging space. Both rooms have angled windows with Velux blinds. The shared family shower room features a large walk-in shower, sink, and toilet.

Kiloran offers a small, patio with tub chairs and a BBQ, where you can relax. The property has a small private parking space for one car, with additional parking available around Rhosneigr village. Internet is a free amenity, however due to our unique location on Anglesey, we cannot always guarantee its performance or availability. We appreciate your understanding if this service becomes unavailable during your stay, as compensation cannot be offered.
Experience the thrill of aviation! During your stay, you might catch the occasional fighter jet display from RAF Valley, a beloved feature of Anglesey. Flights occur on weekdays during working hours. Although jets don't fly directly overhead, sounds can be heard more clearly with open doors or windows. It's part of the local charm and adds to the adventurous spirit of your visit.

Sweet small cottage near the sea in a fabulous village

We had a fabulous holiday in Rhosneigr in this lovely little cottage. The cottage was in a fabulous location just off the high street a short 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The cottage was slightly smaller than expected (typical traditional Welsh cottage size) but it suited our needs perfectly. Lovely fresh linen. The key box was initially hard to find as we misinterpreted which drive was ours but that was quickly resolved. Very convenient self check in. Fabulous restaurants and cafes in the area. The kids adored the beach and loved bodyboarding. I e would happily return again and loved the village and its atmosphere.

Fantastic weekend

Perfect location - 2 minutes walk to the beach and (much to the kids' delight) the ice cream shop! The house has everything needed for a weekend escape to the seaside!

An excellent property in a great location

We recently spent 5 days in this lovely property and would definitely recommend it. It's in a brilliant location, a minute from the beach, and is well equipped. The beds were low but still very comfy. We will hopefully return at some point.

Great Location, Bright and Breezy in Rhosneigr

Anglesey is our special place for holidays and we normally base ourselves in Beaumaris. This time round we decided to try the other side of the Island. There is not as many as bars and cafes as our usual haunt but while there is not quantity there is still quality here with the Oystercatcher , Cafe Notos , Sandy Mount Hotel , Starvation and Y Morfa well well worth checking out. Apart from the Oystercatcher all of the other places are within walking distance of Kiloran which after a day on the beach or exploring the coastal path is a bonus. Kiloran matches its pictures being bright and modern and a great base for exploring the Island. The outside space is not huge but as we spent most of our time out and about this was not a big issue. Couple of minor issues which are worth flagging in that the beds are very low. Not a problem for us but they could be for some. Also we never quite mastered the shower setting so ending up playing temperature roulette a few times. A few other reviews have mentioned the car parking place in being small. It was fine for our Mini Clubman and we managed to get it more or less where it should be.

A beautiful place to stay right by the beach the localation is perfect nice and quiet neighbours are lovely locals are very friendly plenty to do and see everywhere is dog friendly which is perfect as we took our dog would definitely recommend to go there .

Clean and comfortable

We had a lovely stay at Kiloran. The staff at Anglesey Lettings were very accommodating and the property was in great condition. We were very comfortable and warm and felt right at home.

Not the relaxing break we were hoping for.

Having read the details for Kiloran on the website and previous reviews, we were prepared for the property to be small. It is - very. This was not the problem. Kiloran has everything you need, as long as you don't need to park or do any washing whilst you're there. (No washine machine in a house that is promoted as suitable for use by young families??) Having read reviews, we knew the parking space would be small but managed to park our van, checking with several neighbours that there was no problem - there wasn't. 2 days in we received a call from Anglesey Holidays asking us to park elsewhere following a complaint. We did so immediately parking on street in the village - not an issue, just inconvenient. The issue started the next day with building work taking place directly across from us. From 8am every morning for the rest of our stay (not ideal for relaxing mornings on holiday), all you could hear was the sound of a construction site. On 2 mornings in particular we were woken by the sounds of deliveries being made to the site. On looking out of the window there was a JCB and a tipper truck parked right outside the front door and only a few inches from my son's bedroom window. The street was completely closed off. I had to ask them to move the fencing so I could take the dog for a walk. The noise continued throughout the week meaning we couldn't use the outside space or keep the windows open. Angĺesey Holiday lettings have been extremely unhelpful, whilst acknowledging the disruption and stress experienced on our holiday they have refused any refund or compensation. Not a great holiday and we expected more from a company we have used many times before, who pride themselves on customer service.

Nice stay at Kiloran

Lovely little palace

We really enjoyed our time here - comfy sofa, toasty fires and a cute outside place. It might be snug for 6 but was lovely for us 2 and the dog! The parking was too tight for us - but there are many other places to park. We did get shouted at for parking outside someone else's house though so take care! Rhosneiger seems small, but if you're staying for a week, there's plenty of options.

Nice place but requires some improvement

The location of the property was fairly central however the car parking space really is only for a small car (this is mentioned on the booking info). Comfort in the property was our main issue, the sofa wasn’t great, the beds are all very low on the floor, the room's are a lot smaller than the photos make out especially the bathroom which was a very tight squeeze. But the main issue was there was no hot water in the property, in the sink downstairs or in the shower. We had terrible weather including a power cut so it may have been down to that but better instruction on heating and water instructions within the property would be helpful. With the bedrooms being in the roof of the property and the awful weather also meant that is was so noisy at night and so we got very limited sleep. Although the property sleeps 6 I think any more than 4 adults or two adults/two children the property would be too small for.

Lovely little bolthole

We enjoyed 4 nights in Kiloran in late October. It’s the perfect bolthole for that time of year - close to the village and the beach. Not sure I’d stay in the summer as outside space is very limited. Kiloran was spotlessly clean and well equipped (although would benefit from a couple of baking trays!). It is very cosy with the log burner lit albeit the sofa is ready for replacing as it’s lost all support and sinks when you sit/lie on it. The beds are very low, my elderly mother in law struggled to get up and out of it however the double was very comfortable. If you can park confidently in a small space then it’s fine, but if your car is overly long or an estate then you might struggle. This review might sound negative but it shouldn’t, just wanted to point out where improvements could be made. Overall it is a lovely home and we really enjoyed our few days there. Thank you x

Clean, modern place with great location near beach/cafes/shops

We enjoyed our stay at Kiloran. The location was good only a few minutes walk to the beach, its in the centre of the village so theres a few cafes/restaurants close by along with a onestop and a couple of shops. The icecream shop at the top of the road was great for my kids with friendly staff. The property was modern and well maintained we enjoyed sitting in the conservatory section of the open plan room for dinner theres a nice big table. The TV was a bit annoying as the remote didnt really work not sure its the batteries as the cover was missing people must already of tried to mess with them to get it to work. Theres 2 bedrooms upstairs (1 double 1 twin) and a bedroom with bunks downstairs with ensuite toilet. I slept in the bottom bunk with my son on top bunk the first couple of nights but that mattress was rock solid I ended up going upstairs (much more comfy) but was a bit unsettled as both the front and back doors have like an integral lock - my 6yr old son could have easily undone it (he has been a bit of an escapologist in the past) would be better to have keys that can be removed. Because of that I dont think I would stay again until my kids are a bit older. All in all it was a really nice place to stay we had a good time and love Anglesey!

A few annoying things but overall good.

Kiloran. We booked (as we usually do through Anglesey Holiday Lettings). The property is well located in the centre of the village. We knew where the house was as we are regular visitors to Rhosneigr. We stayed the last week of August. The house is generally alright, but there were several maintenance and general issues with the choices about design and kitting the house out which means I wouldn’t recommend and we won’t return. In a nutshell these were: parking that is not fit for purpose (several knocks and notes from neighbours); a bathroom that constantly floods due to a combination of poorly designed bath tray, ting shower screen and a blocked drain; the TV is unusable and had a terrible interface, it would only come on once you turned it off and on again at the wall; there’s no washing machine for a house of up to six - doesn’t make sense; there are only three seats in the lounge for a house of six(?); pans were at end of life and there were no sharp knives. The photos that have been used must have used a very magnified fishbowl lens as the property is made to look large and spacious and it isn’t. Sorry to list a load of complaints, but these are things that really bugged us during our stay and they can be rectified by the owners reasonably simply. There are better places to stay in Rhosneigr, we always use Anglesey Holiday Lettings who are great. We called them with a maintenance issue with the drains in the evening and someone was round first thing in the morning.

A wonderfully relaxing break

We booked Kiloran for a half term break as we’d never spent October half term on Anglesey. We loved everything about the trip. The house is in a great location and Rhosneigr has everything you could need. Access to the beach, restaurants and cafes and even a shop for essentials. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would visit again. The house was great - tastefully decorated and it had everything you could need.

Holiday

A very nice base for our holiday in Wales, dog friendly which is always a bonus! Parking is very tight but achievable, we had a Volvo estate! Very close to all that Rhosneigr has to offer and a minute’s walk to the beach. Welcome pack was basic and the first time we had no log’s or supplies for the wood burner?
