Holiday Prato Verde, is situated in Chiatri Puccini, a small town on the hills surrounding Lucca , in Tuscany.
Our family manage the restaurant Prato Verde for over fifty years and in 2000 we have realized a summer residence to offer an holiday characterized by cordiality and hospitality that always has distinguished us.
We give the maximum attention to the guest's needs without ignoring their comfort.
The special position offers a spectacular and unique view: northeasterly there are the Appennines, in the south east there are Pisa and Livorno, in the west the Massaciuccoli Lake , the Viareggio coast and Forte Dei Marmi.
You can admire this panoramic view lying down comfortably on the swimming pool edge or when you are on the flat's terraces that are surrounded by olives and woods to have a fresh and windy climate also in the summer.
Holiday Prato Verde is situated in a peaceful oasis but in a few minutes you can reach some famous seaside resorts (Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, Torre del Lago, Forte dei Marmi and Lerici).
You can rent only GIRASOLE or GIRASOLE WITH THE ROOM GARDENIA.( Contact the owner for the room Gardenia
The apartment Girasole is composed a double bed, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kicthen with sofa bed. Upstairs with independent entrance there is a double bedroom Gardenia. It is composed two single beds, bathroom with shower and two big terrace when you can relax looking a wonderful view
The apartment Girasike has a gazebo, terrace, garden, satellite TV, WI FI, private parking, barbecue and laundromat. It is located a 15 minutes drive from Lucca and Viareggio.
Guests have the possibility to use the swimming pool provided with a sterilization system by salt ( without the use of chlorine) and a large solarium.
It also offers spaces for children's games and a large park surrounding the property that creates a serenity oasis giving the possibility to go for a walk in the nature.
An ideal place for families holidays where they can find open and safe places for their children.
You can also reach in a few minutes the city of Lucca where it's possible to observe Roman, Medieval and Renaissance testimonies.
Not too far there are cities of historical, cultural and tourist's interest (Pisa, Viareggio, Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi, Barga, Castelnuovo Garfagnana, Florence, Siena and San Gimignano).

Der perfekteste Toskanaurlaub

Wer Ruhe,Natur und Gastfreundlichkeit erleben möchte,ist hier richtig. Prato verde ist mit den Appartements und dem Restaurant ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für den perfekten Toskana Urlaub. Lucca und Pisa sind nicht weit erntfernt ebenso wie das Meer und den See. Vielen Dank an Mara und Laura für ihre Gastfreundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Toll sind die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten der Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien - je nach Sonneneinstrahlung. Am Pool sind jeder Wohnung ein eigener Pavillion mit passenden Liegestühlen zugeordnet. Im Restaurant gibt es wahlweise die Möglichkeit zu Frühstücken. Das Restaurant wird durch die Gastgeberfamilie betrieben und bietet eine brauchbare Auswahl ausgezeichneter Speisen an. Vor Ort gibt keine Möglichkeit fußläufig anderweitig einzukehren und auch keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Mara, die Gastgeberin, ist die einzige, die gut Englisch spricht. Daher sind viele organisatorische Themen mit ihrer Person verknüpft.

Sommrurlaub 1 Woche im Girasol

Wir waren 1 Woche im Girasol im August 23. Die Wohnung ist für 2 Personen geeignet, schön eingerichtet, hat einen Balkon und eine eigene Terasse. Vom Balkon sieht man den schiefen Turm von Pisa. Es sind nur einige Schritte bis zum großen Pool, von dem man einen tollen Blick auf den Lago del Torre und das Meer mit Viareggio hat..Bei Bedarf kann man Abends im Restaurant speisen oder morgens ein großes, leckeres Frühstück genießen. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und können Girasol weiterempfehlen. Olaf

Super schöne gepflegte Anlage, super Pool, Bilder stimmen mit der Agentur überein. Schöner Ausblick vom Pool zum Meer. Mit dem Auto braucht man schon gute 30 Minuten zum Stand. Kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

wunderschöner Urlaub

Wie hatten das Appartment Girasole und für unsere Kinder das Zimmer Gardenia gebucht. Alles war liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber. Am Appartment ist ein kleiner Balkon und eine überdachte Terasse mit Tisch und Stühlen für 4 Personen. Auch das Geschirr im Appartment ist für 4 Personen ausreichend. Etwas oberhalb des Ferienhauses liegt der Poolbereich mit grandiosem Ausblick Richtung Mittelmeer, genau wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Es ist herrlich ruhig, es gibt für jedes Appartment eine eigene überdachte Liegefläche, so dass man auch im Schatten liegen kann. Im Restaurant der Gastgeber-Familie kann man typisch italienisch essen, es schmeckt fantastisch. Ich kann einen Urlaub hier absolut empfehlen!!

Beautiful place to stay, but more expensive than expected

We loved our week in Tuscany, where we stayed with our two sons in the Girasole and Gardenia apartments. The view, the green surroundings and the pool were nothing short of perfect. However, we were sad that the owner demanded 123 euros, in addition to the amount paid through VRBO. She sent us the message by mail 15 days before the holiday so we could not manage to find another place to rent. We thought we had paid the full amount as stated by VRBO. We have rented holiday homes several times before through VRBO, but have never experienced having to pay extra before. The owner wrote that we should pay her fee to VRBO in addition to tourist taxes. We would recommend that the rent is regulated before booking is done, so tenants avoid unpleasant surprises and know the real price. Otherwise as said; a beautiful place, we would gladly have stayed longer and we already miss it.

Zwei schöne Wochen in der Toskana

Das Haus mit den Ferienwohnungen (Wir hatten die Wohnung Girasole und das Zimmer Gardenia gemietet.), der Pool und das ganze Gelände sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Man hat seine Ruhe, tolle Ausblicke und findet immer ein schattiges Plätzchen. Die Anfahrt über die Serpentinenstraße war für uns Flachländler allerdings jedes Mal "sportlich". Die Wohnküche ist recht eng, aber da man sowohl im Restaurant Prato Verde als auch in den umliegenden Orten sehr gut und günstig essen gehen kann, haben wir nicht oft gekocht. Mara und Cassandra waren immer beschäftigt, aber sehr freundlich. Wir haben den Urlaub in Prato Verde sehr genossen!

Einfach nur traumhaft

Es waren fantastische 3 Wochen im Objekt Gardenia. Es fehlte uns an nicht, Mara war immer ansprechbar und es wurde sehr gut auf die Hygiene geachtet. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und man kann toll abschalten. Der Pool lit Meerbkick ist ein Traum, wenn auch etwas kühl. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht. Ausflüge nach Pisa, Lucca und zu Küste sind in gut 30min zu schaffen. Alles in allem top, wir kommen wieder

Es war wunderschön, viel Ruhe. Wenn man abends Essen gehen wollte, konnte man einfach in das Restaurant gehen. Sonst hatten wir den Pool fast nur für uns alleine. Das war natürlich sehr schön. Brötchen konnte man auch vor Ort bekommen. Wenn man in die Nachbarstadt Lucca fahren wollte, war es sehr schnell erreichbar. Pisa, Florenz ist auch schnell zu erreichen. Zum Meer musste man ca. 30 Minuten fahren. Also alles in alleim ein schöner Urlaub!

Traumhaft

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in dieser tollen Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage (mit Fernblick auf Pisa und das Meer) verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat problemlos geklappt (aus der Ferne und vor Ort), alle Fragen bezüglich Corona und allgemein wurden schnell (auf Englisch) beantwortet. Hohe Hygiene-Vorschriften, wir haben uns immer gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wer zu viert anreist, bucht ein Apartment mit Küche und eins nur mit Betten und Bad, perfekt mit zwei Kindern im Teenageralter! Toller Pool und auch hier kann problemlos Abstand zu den anderen Gästen gehalten werden! Ein toller Ort für einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Toskana auch in Corona-Zeiten, Danke an Mara und das Team!!!

Nous avons passé d excellentes vacances nous avions loué l appartement girasole et la chambre gardénia , la vue est imprenable sur les montagnes la mer les oliviers le lac... la location est spacieuse avec un espace extérieur bien aménagé dans les 2 locations Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil chaleureux, la cuisine du restaurant prato verde est excellente. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Toskana und haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Das weitläufige Grundstück ist ruhig und traumhaft schön. Wundervoller Pool von morgens bis zum Sonnenuntergang mit Blick aufs Meer. Jede Wohneinheit hat ihre Privatsphäre. Wenn man mal keine Lust zu kochen hat, kann man im Restaurant hervorragend essen. Die Wohnung empfehle ich nur für 2 Personen plus max ein Kind unter 6. Mit dem Dachgeschoss wird auch für Familien mit Teenies ist es rundum gelungen. Vielen Dank an Mara und Familie. Wir kommen gern wieder. LG aus Bonn!

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt - a very beautiful stay

Es war eine perfekte Woche im wunderschönen „Prato Verde“: Mara und ihre Familie sind freundliche und kommunikative Gastgeber. Wir bewohnten eine sehr gepflegte und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung („Girasole“); dadurch, dass die Kinder ein eigenständiges Zimmer („Gardenia“) eine Treppe höher hatten, war auch wirklich ausreichend Platz für alle. Zur Anlage gehört auch ein sehr sauberer und schön gelegener Pool. Ein neuer, noch größerer Pool in absoluter Panoramalage (Blick auf Pisa und aufs Meer) stand unmittelbar vor der Fertigstellung und ist mittlerweile eingeweiht worden. Unter gleicher Leitung ist an der Zufahrtsstraße ein hervorragendes Restaurant. Die Qualität der angebotenen Speisen und Getränke lässt den Wunsch, selbst zu kochen, eher wenig aufkommen. „Prato Verde“ liegt in den Hügeln zwischen Lucca und dem Meer an einem kleinen und kurvenreichen Sträßchen, was aber für einen normal begabten Autofahrer keinerlei Hindernis darstellt; ein Auto ist absolut erforderlich. Lucca erreicht man in ca. 15 Minuten; dort gibt es Supermärkte aller Art. In Pisa ist man in einer guten halben Stunde; zum Strand (der schönste und friedlichste ist der von Marina di Vecchiano) braucht man gute 20 Minuten. Die Umgebung mit zahlreichen kleinen und verkehrsarmen Sträßchen stellt auch ein Paradies für Radfahrer dar. Wir haben fest vor, wiederzukommen! It was a perfect week in the beautiful Prato Verde: Mara and her family are very friendly and communicative people. We had a tidy, well equipped apartement („Girasole“), and because our daughters had the little apartement Gardenia there was room enough for all of us. There was also a very clean and lovely situated pool. A new, bigger pool at an absolutely panoramic site was due to be finished and meanwhile has been officially opened. Mara also owns a excellent restaurant. Due to the quality oft the restaurant you will not have the wish to cook and eat in your apartement. Prato verde lies in the hills at a little and winding road, which is no problem for a normal driver; using a car, however, is absolutely necessary. You will reach Lucca in about 15 minutes, where are supermarkets of all kinds. Pisa can be reached in a little bit more than 30 minutes, to the beach (the most beautiful and peaceful is Marina di Vecchiano) you’ll need about 20 minutes. The landscape around Prato Verde with its little and low--traffic roads is also a paradise for cyclists. We are strongly determined to come back again!

Dépaysement garanti

Très bel endroit avec vue magnifique sur la montagne et la mer, avec 2 belles piscines à disposition. Bien situé pour visiter, au calme avec espace barbecue et terrasse privative. L'attente au restaurant est longue si vous n'avez pas réservé ( environ 1 heure) mais ça vaut le coup c'est excellent que du fait maison. Dans les équipements , il manque le lave linge et il faut savoir se servir de la cafetière italienne! La route pour arriver à ce coin de paradis est assez escarpé, et éloigné de tous commerces.

Mara, Laura et toute la famille ont réellement le sens de l'accueil, et le soucis du bien être de leurs locataires. A peine arrivés, nous étions conviés pour un verre de bienvenue et une dégustation de spécialités toscanes concoctées par la famille , un pur bohneur . Véhicule indispensable car situé dans les collines ( quoi de mieux..) la terrasse est trés agréable , avec le charme des oliviers . Les commerces ne sont qu'à 10 minutes en voiture, proche de Lucca , un village typique et trés athypique. Non loin de Florence, Vinci , Isola santa, marina di vecchio......et à 3 h de Venise pour une escapade à 2 ;)

Not impressed.

We found this property to be very isolated at the top of a single lane corkscrew road. We expected there to be a selection of bars and restaurants to walk to but there was nothing apart from the owner's own bar/ restaurant. My elderly mother was traumatised by the road and numerous steps leading to the apartment but unfortunately the owner was not very sympathetic. We clocked the distance to Viareggio beach at 15km not 7.9km as stated. Not impressed.

Dieser Urlaub hat uns allen so viel Freude bereitet. Die Lage etwas abseits touristischer Zentren ist da wirklich kein Nachteil. Die Ferienwohnungen waren mit allem Wichtigen ausgestattet und das Ristorante zum Abend war jedes Mal eine Offenbarung italienischer Kochkunst und Gastfreundlichkeit. Schon der Empfang am ersten Abend war herzlich und schmackhaft. Zum Meer fuhr man ca. 30 min und auch Pisa oder Florenz waren in ca. 45 min bis ca. 1h zu erreichen. Die schöne Stadt Lucca liegt aber in unmittelbarer Nähe (ca. 15 min mit dem Auto), so dass man nicht weit fahren muss, um etwas zu erleben. Wir waren alle begeistert und können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.Hier steht das Wort Familienunternehmen für Qualität und Gastfreundschaft.
