Mer beskrivning: Detta är ett enda hem med stor rumsinredning som kombinerar vardagsrum / tv-rum med kök och matplats. Boarea är cirka 1400 kvadratmeter +/-.

Det stora rummet och sovrummet har utsatta träbjälkar över taket vilket ger den en varm stuga känsla. Det finns en king size-säng i sovrummet och en drottning i det andra sovrummet.

Det fulla köket är utrustat med spis, ugn, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, diskmaskin, kylskåp och matlagningsprodukter. Ismaskinen fungerar inte, men 4 påsar finns tillsammans med isbrickor.

Det stora rummet har läder soffor runt en 42 tums LED-TV med kabel-tv, Blu-ray DVD hemmabiosystem med iPod / telefonanslutning. Eldstaden och härden är dekorativa och funktionsdugliga. Stora fönster vetter mot sjön. Partiet är främst gräs och blomsterbäddar med gott om utrymme för utsidan. Den centrala värmen och luften fungerar bra för din komfort.

Huvudattraktionen är vacker sjön Guntersville med 900 +/- miles av strandlinjen. Djurlivet är rikligt, särskilt vid sjön Guntersville State Park över sjön.

Det finns två steg ner från uppfartsträckan till vägdörren. De två sovrummen kan användas för att komma in i det enkla badrummet och tvättstugan. Du måste gå igenom ett av de två sovrummen för att komma in i badrummet.

Grusväggen är den enda på gatan som gör att fastigheten är lätt att hitta. Ström finns i anslutning till uppfarten för laddning av batterier på båtar. Minst två lastbilar och båtar kan parkeras högst upp på varandra, med hundratals fot uppfart tillgängliga för mer parkering. Det finns många offentliga båtrampar i närheten med närmaste att vara 1. 5 miles bort ligger vid GPS koordinater 34 ° 22'49. 7 "N 86 ° 17'19. 1" W.

Partiet är skuggat. Vandringen från huset till sjön är ca 130 meter. Simning vid kajen rekommenderas inte, men vattnet är varmt ute på sjön på sommaren och en stor offentlig pool finns tillgänglig på Guntersville Parks and Recreation Center.

Fishing trip

We enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Dreams. Everything we needed was at the house and the hosts were very accommodating. The home is older, but comfortable. We used the dock for our boat which was convenient. Fishing wasn’t the best. Maybe next time!

Nice, relaxing stay.

Nice property, very neat and tidy. Nice layout. Had all the amenities one would want. Close to all we wanted to see and do. We had family and friends over for Thanksgiving lunch with plenty of room. We all enjoyed.

June 2019 at Honeysuckle Dreams Cabin in Guntersville, AL

It was truly a blessing to stay for 2 weeks in June 2019. Richard and Lynn were so nice and helpful and the cabin was perfect! We slept like babies....it was so peaceful. I have family in the area and was able to have them visit us while we were there. Some days we would take off for a visit to local state parks and see waterfalls and lots of nature, historic churches, great restaurants, etc. We found a bald eagle's nest that we visited everyday and every afternoon at the cabin a grey heron would visit us for up to 30 minutes some days. At the Guntersville State Park we saw so many deer. The cabin is only a few miles from the Park and we went everyday or so to see them. We were able to bring our cat who is an inside cat and no trouble and he was fascinated to see all the squirrels and birds in the back yard. We really did not want to leave and would probably have stayed another week but it was booked already. We will try to visit again next year. The entire experience was great....from booking the cabin to the day we left. Thank you so much for helping to make this one of the best vacations we have ever had!

Relaxing by the lake

Very relaxing. The only thing missing was the groceries! We enjoyed the spacious, nicely furnished cabin with its view of the lake. There was plenty of parking space so our family could stop in for a visit during our stay. The owners put themselves at our disposal, offering any assistance we required. Will definitely return next year.

Great for fishing weekend

My Dad and I visited for the weekend to fish and this property was perfect for a guys fishing getaway. Lynn was very responsiveness and even allowed us to check in a few hours early due to the property being open the day before. They provided multiple bags of ice for us to utilize which was very convenient! The house is older and we did see a mouse (owner said it was the first time and they were going to address it), but it was fine for a guys trip. I wouldn’t necessarily bring the wife and kids. We needed a place to cool down and sleep at night and it worked just fine for that. It’s on the water, so jumping in the boat was super convenient. The dock is aging and has some weak boards, so we had to be careful. Lynn told us that they were planning to replace boards in the near future. Overall a good stay and accommodating owners.

Comfortable

It was a nice place to relax after a busy and stressful day. Richard and Lynn are nice, accommodating and friendly. If you are new to the area, they are very knowledgeable about restaurants, boat Marina's etc. Our pets were happy and excited to watch all the squirrels through the big glass doors. I'd say, Honey Suckle Dreams to all!

Short Stay

Great owners, very accommodating. I ended up on my own there for 4 nights. I didn't get much use out of the lodging aside from sleeping, which was plenty comfortable. My rig is a Ram 2500 Mega with a 621FS. I managed to get in and out of the driveway with a bit of maneuvering. Lynn, the owner, gave me a ride to and from the nearby launch so I could put my boat in and boat back to the dock at the lodging without having to walk back to the ramp to retrieve my truck. The owners provided 2 bags of ice each day with no charge which was great. Lodging is a few miles from Guntersville proper so it was a short drive to eat or shop. Gas station within walking distance has everything a man needs to get by on a fishing trip aside from tackle. There's a tackle and bait shop across the street from the nearest ramp.

Great place for a fishing trip

Location is great for accessing the lake at several locations. Circle drive works well for towing boat. House was comfortable. Beds were good. Would stay again

Great time!

Honeysuckle Dreams has everything you'll need for a great vacation down at Guntersville Lake. The house is well located and the circle drive has plenty of room for those pulling boats down. Can't wait till next time!

Totally wonderful. Just like home

The owners are awesome. Our stay was for a week. Took our beagle dog. They make us feel right at home. If we needed anything, they were there right a way. The home is great. Stocked with anything that you could want. Having the dock close was great. Put the boat in one time and left it docked at the house. Great fishing and just total relaxation. Thanks for a great time. Will be back often.

Wonderful and cozy!

The owners were very accommodating and extremely kind! The property is nice and perfect for our little family getaway. Having access to the dock proved to be a wonderful thing as we rented a pontoon and got stuck in a storm, we were able to dock it briefly until the storm cleared. We also had kayaks and there was perfect access to the lake right from the property. Also pet and kid friendly! Overall wonderful experience, we will be back!

Nice Lake front property

This home was great for what we were looking for....a place on Lake Guntersville with a boat dock. While the home is not perfect it is very comfortable and had the things we look for....a great bed, a good shower, good TV and it's quiet. The home is 5 minutes from downtown Guntersville which is very convenient. The owner lives next door but is only visible when you need him. All in all we had a great stay and will likely book again. Great Fathers Day weekend!

Had a great stay, Richard and Lynn made sure the house was perfect for us. There was plenty of space for 2 families. We all had a fun weekend spending with family, but the men had a great time they were able to catch some nice size fish while we were there, so I guess that means we will be making another trip back to Honeysuckle Dream .

Great Fishing Getaway!

Accommodations were very clean and functional. Location was very convenient to town and all that was needed, awesome to be able to get up each morning and walk to the dock, get on the boat and start fishing. The owners were beyond helpful as well as very pleasant in every way. Highly recommend this rental and all it has to offer.

Really nice accommodations in a perfect location

We rented Honeysuckle Dream for a 4 day fishing weekend. The house has an open dining/kitchen/living room area which was nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the AC kept the place nice and chilly when we got out of the hot sun from fishing. It was a HUGE plus having a place to tie up our bass boat each night just a couple hundred feet from the back porch. We didn't have to load and unload each morning and evening which allowed us to come and go anytime we needed (more fishing time too)! The neighborhood was very quiet at night which was important since we needed as much rest as possible. It was a very short drive to dining, groceries, supplies, etc. Lynn was very sweet and a great host. We had more room than needed and it would probably be a big enough place to fit one big family or two small ones. Overall, our experience was great and it was a huge upgrade versus getting a state lodge fisherman's cabin.

Great place, great owner

We brought 4 people down to stay for 4 nights. The house was great, all of the amenities were perfect. Plenty of parking for 3 boats. The location was perfect for fishing Guntersville with several boat ramps within a few miles. Richard was very helpful for anything we needed and responded very quickly when contacted. Great place to stay, would not hesitate to book again.

Cozy and comfortable

It's not fancy. However it has a very well appointed kitchen, the beds are really comfortable and so is the rest of the house. It was nice to wake up to a beautiful lake view and to fish off the dock. But really, it's the hands on , incredibly wonderful owners that make it shine. They were incredibly accommodating .....I threw out my back, she brought me a heating pad. She brought us extra paper products and disposable plates...I felt like a guest in their home. You'll enjoy your stay
