La casa Ăš suddivisa in quattro appartamenti indipendenti. PuĂČ ospitare 16 persone su letti e 6 su divano letto, per un totale di 22 persone.

L'ampio giardino dispone di una piscina privata da dove si gode una magnifica vista sulle verdi colline di boschi di castagni e sui monti dell’Appennino Tosco - emiliano, in una Toscana incontaminata e ancora da scoprire.

A house divided into 4 flats. Lovely views of the tuscan hills. Great for local walks, car vital.

Really helpful caretaker sharing her local knowledge. Staying here after a week in Sardinia meant the lack of air con wasn't a problem, there are fans in each room.

Sehr schönes Anwesen - tolle Lage!

FĂŒr Ruhe und Entspannung bestens geeignet. Am Meer ist man in gut 30 Minuten. Wir waren das zweite Mal im Torre, Housekeeping war 2018 deutlich besser.

10 days in the mountains

This is a pretty rural property in a quiet area with nice pool lots of places to visit in surrounding area. Mountain walks streams old towns and villages. Not a place for beaches! Had a lovely time

Peacefull and relaxing holiday

Apartment was quite small for 6 people. Kitchen and living room were very small and apartment had only 1 bathroom. Apartment had no terrace. Location was peacefull with very beautifull view. Garden was big and beautifull and pool was clean and nice. People working in property were friendly. When staying here you need a car, cause there were no restaurants or crocery stores by walking distance.

Most wonderful stay, amazing stone house with a great pool

We had one of our best stays as a family of 6 at La Casatorre, it’s a great and wonderful place. The house is as described in other reviews, really even nicer as the pics, the kitchen is bigger than it seems, provided everything we needed and we used it a lot. The pool is well sized and a true joy, we spent a lot of time in there. The area around the pool is huge and the whole place is really clean and well cared for. If you are a lover of nature you can sit outside early in the mornings, enjoy the mountain view and just listen and smell. We‘ve been there end of May, wich was not too hot but comfy, even when we had a little rain. Booking and communication with Maria was really easy, talking to Laura and Ivalda, the housekeepers, was a joy and always nice and easy, too. They are great. It’s always good to learn a bit of the language wherever you go, especially for this region as it is not heavy touristic but more authentic. A car is almost a must as all the foodshops and supermarkets are about a 7 to 10mins drive away. We highly recommend a trip to Bagnone, a lovely little medieval town. Our famous trip was driving to Portovenere to see the sunset, and the town of course. We totally enjoyed our stay, it was our first trip to Italy and definitely not our last. This place is a real oasis and we feel like just going back there immediately :-)

Fantastische vakantiewoning met een fijn zwembad

De vakantiewoning was schoon en sfeervol. Het bad- en bedlinnen was goed geregeld. Met zes personen was er voldoende woon- en slaapruimte. Hoogtepunt voor ons was het zwembad en de vele ruimte hieromheen. Alle mogelijkheden om te spetteren en te spelen. Er was meer dan genoeg tuinmeubilair en er waren verschillende sfeervolle hoekjes, in de zon of in de schaduw, om te gaan zitten. De ontvangst was bijzonder gastvrij en er werd allerlei informatie over de omgeving gegeven. Er zijn veel toeristische highlights in de buurt: Pisa, Florence, Luca, Cinque terre... Tijdens onze vakantie was het erg warm en moesten we ons programma daar een beetje op aanpassen, maar het lijkt ons geweldig om nog eens naar deze stek terug te keren en dan actief te zijn in de mooie omgeving.

Sehr entspannte, ruhige Woche!

Die Wohnung war in einer sehr ruhigen Lage, perfekt zum entspannen und doch nicht weit vom Meer oder zum wandern. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, die Wohnungen gut ausgestatt und sauber. SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe und Absprachen haben sehr gut geklappt, Laura steht immer mit Rat und Tat zur VerfĂŒgung. Alles unkompliziert, wunderschön und sehr empfehlenswert. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmal hin!

Wonderful setting

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay at this property. The grounds are kept very tidy and the rooms were clean upon arrival. I had heard bad stories about spiders and what not from others that had stayed at historic properties in Tuscany, but I'm happy to report that was not an issue for us. The lounge chairs around the pool were fantastic. The location is wonderful. I would recommend this place to any of my friends.

Calme Espace et accueil au top

L'annonce est trÚs fidÚle à la réalité. Chaque appartement est bien isolé des autres. TrÚs bon équipement. Parc et piscine trÚs agréables. AccÚs au Cinq Terres en 30 minutes (prendre le train à la gare de la Spezzia). Tout proche des Alpes Apuanes et des carriÚres de marbre de Carrare.

Nicely renovated farmhause in Tuscany

Great place to stay in a lesser known area of Tuscany. Unfortunately, we were there for only 2 nights (wished it could have been longer). The whole experience with the owner and her representitives was really first class. I would recommend this property to anyone especially if you are a large group with kids who still want their privacy. With 3/4 appartments a large group can have great fun in the pool and large garden but still have their own space.

Fantastic stay

We absolutely loved this rental. It is even nicer than the pictures look. There is a fabulous little medieval town 200 meters away, which the Francigena trail passes right through (highly recommend exploring both of these!) The locals are great. There is little book of recommendations for you that includes fabulous restaurants in the nearby villages. We loved each one we tried. They treat you like family in these restaurants. Loved everything about this area and this little house. Clean, friendly and everything you need (including a strong shower with plenty of hot water!) It is a wonderful break from the heavy tourist areas, with authentic Italian charm.

Beautiful property, stunning, peaceful location

Lovely stone property - which keeps surprisingly cool in the heat, in a stunning location and well kept grounds. Pool was a big plus for our boys (Age 11, 9 and 6) - good size, very clean. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Kitchen is well equipped (maybe a few more wine glasses if there are more adults staying than we had) with a good sized table to sit 6. There are also two outside tables for eating if desired. Location is rural, which we loved and a phrase book is essential if you don't speak Italian. The locals however were very friendly and patient with our attempts - which improved over our week stay. There is a great local restaurant in walking distance, open at lunch times and several local shops within a few minutes drive. A car is a must. From your location you have, walks from your door, a choice of historic hill top towns, mountains and the coast for easy day trips. In my opinion, not a negative, more a bit of advice - don't rely on the WiFi - definitely through no fault of the owner or housekeeper, who fixed it half way through our holiday. Would absolutely, definitely recommend - although if honest, would actually like to keep this undiscovered part of Tuscany a secret!

La Casa Torre has been fantastic

Our holiday here at La Casa Torre has been fantastic. It's a really nice accommodation with garden and pool. The view of the mountain is amazing and we loved the quietness here. The little fresh water stream nearby is cool and a bit cold, but it as nice to be cooled. We went to Cinque Terre by train from Pontremoli to Monterosso by train. The ticket is valid for up to six hours to travel between the Cinque Terre’s five villages. Lucca is a nice old town, great shops. Genova has a cozy harbor; you can take whale-watching trips from the harbor as well. We took a catamaran trip (Silent bay sailing charter) from Sestri Levante’ harbor. We can recommend the trip, quiet, swimming, and beautiful view from the sea. Sestri Levante is a fantastic city with the best ice cream (look up “ice cream angel” on Tripadvisor). The Lunigiana area is really beautiful; we have seen the authentic nature and the cities. Bagnone, which has a nice bridge and castle, Aula and Fivizzano. Pontremoli has a cozy little market and the gelateria is open late: until 23pm (if you really are in the need of an ice cream) We had a fabulous meal at the Agriturismo Ristorante Podere Conti; to get there take the road up the mountain for approx. 5 km from a good bakery called Ricco’ It was nice to have the housekeeper around every day taking care of the garden, pool, stairs and having a big smile, she was very nice and gave us excellent advice for our trips Thank you for a super stay!

Un formidable séjour

Nous avons suivi les conseils de nos amis et nous avons passĂ© un formidable sĂ©jour. MĂȘme s'il y avait une chaleur Ă©tonnante -30°- les nuits Ă©taient fraĂźches. Je confirme la qualitĂ© du lieu, qui est proche de visites trĂšs jolies et intĂ©ressantes: -promenades le long des torrents de la montagne au cƓur de la forĂȘt des chĂątaigniers. -la plage dans le cadre enchanteur de Lerici -les villages pittoresques des Cinque Terre (Corniglia) -l’élĂ©gante ville de Parme avec un centre historique qui nous plonge dans le Moyen Age ...et le retour quotidien Ă  Casa Torre, sa situation de rĂȘve au pied des Apennins sa qualitĂ© de vie, son authenticitĂ©

A fabulous place

We have had a fabulous week at Casa Torre. The apartment Orsaro is beautifully decorated and the pool and grounds are also well kept. We have been very comfortable despite the temperatures of 30° C or more for the majority of time! The area of Lunigiana, even if you are very familiar with Italy, is a real discovery. Small villages and towns, country walks and mountain paths are tourist free and stunningly beautiful. The tourist office in Pontremoli (5 minutes away) has many ideas for days out, as do the leaflets in the apartment. We found a leaflet about waterfalls, which took us to an incredible walk starting at Pracchiola, way up in the mountains. Fantastic! It takes less than 30 min. to reach the coast from here; Lerici was great for a day out with a clean free beach and plenty of restaurants. The local cuisine is very distinctive (chestnut pasta, huge pancakes, loads of mushrooms
) with plenty of choice for shopping and eating out. Best thing; focaccia! Have a fabulous stay!

excellent!

La Casatorre is the perfect place for couples or families with children who want to spend a quiet and relaxing holiday off the tourist track. The accommodation was bright and clean and at walking distance from the small hamlet of Ponticello. The housekeeper Annabel, who lives on the spot was extremely helpful with instructions and suggestions. The flat had everything we needed We enjoyed the area so much and we would definitely recommend this property to friends!

A lovely spot

We had a wonderful holiday in Tuscany and enjoyed everything about the house. The hamlet was beautiful and of course the children loved the pool. Everything was great in the house, there was nothing missing for cooking or anything and it was excellent having Annabel next door to answer any questions. We will certainly be recommending it to friends and perhaps return ourselves someday.
