Great Location for a Great Vacation!

My husband and I decided to book a spur of the moment trip to Venice and both of us ended up stumbling upon this listing. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. We loved that it is right next to a historic site so we always had an easy time finding our way home. It was conveniently located in San Marco and made getting to wherever we needed to go so easy. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and personally met us and showed us around. The windows overlooking the canal were great for watching the gondolas and water taxis go by. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Venice!

Perfect location

The property is a little worn, but adequate for the price. Minimalist. Great location. Gondola's below, and Spiral building outside. Close to San Marcos square.

Overpriced Dump

On my recent visit to Venice I stayed at this dump. Do NOT believe the pictures posted. The apartment barely has any lighting (I’m guessing that is intentional.) The kitchen is ill equipped, rusty and old (circa 1930’s). The place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since it was built centuries ago. There was mold in the shower and it smelled of mold. The bathroom is infested with drain flies. I killed at least 25 of them and didn’t even make a dent in the population. I was greeted with hair in the bathroom from the previous guest that was also duped. The bedroom is equally as disgusting. The mattress and pillows are covered in pills that you can actually feel through the sheets. The comforter was FILTHY. Covered in stains, hair and discolored from never being washed between guests. You will have trouble getting down the very narrow alleyway leading to your front door because the courtyard where this dump is located also has a famous Venetian landmark that constantly brings tours to your front door. There is also a constant stream of gondolas coming down the waterway visible from the kitchen window. If you are okay with that kind of noise and filth then this is the place for you.
