Large modern family villa, heated pool and lovely gardens in a great location.

We are delighted to offer you this large recently renovated privately owned villa with lovely views, and large (10m x 5m) heated private pool & gardens just 5 minutes drive to Arenal beachfront with its popular boardwalk, beach and restaurants. Set slightly up on the hillside, the villa benefits from being in a quiet neighbourhood and offers a great deal of privacy and tranquility as well as magnificent views.

The spacious & modern house is ideal for families and small groups. It comprises 5 bedrooms (sleeping 10 people), large open plan living areas and multiple outdoor seating options.

All of the bedrooms, as well as the living areas, have their own air conditioning.

Two of the bedrooms (those on the lower floor) can be used as independent accommodation since they have their own access, separate living room and kitchenette. Also in the lower floor living room are two sofa beds which can be set up to sleep additional guests at an extra charge

In addition to the en-suites there are two further bath/shower rooms and one WC, as well as the pool shower and toilet.

The main accommodation has a very large open plan kitchen / living / dining area, leading to an outdoor balcony/terrace with seating for 10/12. The lower floor self contained area has an second living room and kitchenette. There are additional rooms in the house such as a tea/coffee making area, pantry and laundry room.

The house is fully equipped with all appliances, including fibre broadband and international TV stations, and with aircon / central heating throughout.

The lower floor has only some minor threshold steps therefore is accessible for people with mobility issues.

We have kids ourselves, and can offer extra equipment for young children such as cot-beds, high chairs, safety gates.

THE GARDENS & POOL

Outside, the garden areas are extensive and south-facing for lots of sun.

We have a large kidney shaped swimming pool which uses a salt system which is kinder on the skin and ensures constant sanitation. The pool has a 0.4m platform at the shallow end ideal for kids or less confident swimmers. It can be heated for a small additional charge.

Around the pool we have a shower and toilet. sun loungers, and parasols to provide shade. There's also an outdoor kitchen with built in gas barbecue, a bread oven, food preparation area, drinks fridge and dining table. Furthermore, there's another covered outdoor terrace overlooking the pool with sofas and a dining table, all in the shade.

For the kids we have swings and a climbing frame with slide in the garden.

There's off-street parking and a shaded car port and a handy storage room next to it for keeping bikes, prams and so on under lock and key.

I'm Matthew. My wife Emma and I are a couple from London and here because we wanted a place to escape to for a bit of peace and quiet and more sunshine. We’d never owned a second property, let alone one overseas. We found our dream villa in 2018 in the wonderful town of Javea: what an adventure! Em has a full time job in London, and Matthew is taking a few years off work to help with looking after our toddler Sam (born 2020) and our baby Ben (born 2022), as well as running the villa.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We looked at loads of villas in the area, and instantly fell in love with this one on first viewing. The previous owners had created such wonderful gardens, and the sense of space and tranquility as well as the beautiful views were instantly captivating. We were hoping for children and wanted somewhere that would cope with our growing needs - which this house certainly does. The house is only a few minutes drive to the hustle and bustle of Arenal and the tourist beach there, but in a residential area where the properties are spread out, the gardens are large and there's space to breathe. It's possible to walk to the sea, and to shops and restaurants, but many guests find they like to stock up at the supermarket they they have everything they need at the villa.

The house and pool have been fully renovated. So while there is a lot of character in the bones of the property (and gardens), the kitchens and bathrooms are all very clean and modern. We've tried to make the villa very well equipped and have made sure we have good fast internet, international TV, lots of sunloungers and the ability handle kids well.
