This lovely, detached villa with private pool is very near to the hotel on the Mar Menor Golf Resort, so is situated in an excellent location. The villa is perfectly equipped for a relaxing holiday and is an excellent choice for families. There is air conditioning in all rooms, together with ceiling fans in both bedrooms, and there is also gas central heating for cooler months.

At the front of the property, there is a shaded driveway, then upon passing through the front door, you enter the large, light and spacious lounge/diner. This has a modern TV with a choice of TV channels (similar to UK Freeview), plus channels in other languages, and free fiber Wi-Fi. At the rear of the lounge there are large sliding patio doors leading out to a private covered terrace, perfect for escaping the sun if you wish to. From here, there is an excellent sized, newly-installed, pool (which can be heated at an additional cost). The galley style kitchen is well equipped and semi open-plan to the lounge. The owners have provided variety of equipment for children, including children's plates and cutlery, and a small selection of toys and books.

The master bedroom has huge fitted wardrobes and a 160cm wide, king sized bed, with a window overlooking the rear garden. From here, there is access to the en-suite bathroom with a shower cubicle, vanity washbasin, and a toilet. To the front of the villa, there is another good sized bedroom, again with ample storage space. It has two single beds, that can also be zipped together to make a super king sized bed. Right next to this bedroom, the family shower room is located. It has a shower cubicle, wash hand basin with vanity unit, and toilet. The layout of the villa makes it ideal for two couples sharing, or for a family.

Just off the covered terrace, there is a good-sized terraced area, ideal for lounging in the sun. Although fully fenced for safety, the villa has open views to the rear over an orchard, so it is not overlooked and extremely private. The pool is an excellent size and is ideal for splashing about with family or for simply cooling off. From the poolside there is an external staircase leading up the side of the villa to a very large roof solarium, which has chairs and sun loungers, for you to enjoy the beatiful views. The villa also has a table tennis table, to keep the kids amused for hours.

Mar Menor Golf Resort has a 5* hotel, where you can have something to eat or drink in one of the bars or restaurants whilst overlooking the fabulous pool area and golf course beyond. There are also spa facilities with an indoor pool. In 2022, the new Club MMGR opened, which offers a heated outdoor pool, a club bar and restaurant, a gym, padel tennis, sports courts, animal themed mini golf and a skittle alley (opening times, entrance costs and entry conditions vary); this is within easy walking distance of the villa. Also within walking distance, just outside one of the resort's entrances, is "El Boulevard", a commercial area where you will find an excellent and varied selection of bars and restaurants. There is also a well-stocked Spar supermarket inside the resort, again within walking distance.

As well as the on-site Jack Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf course, there is an outdoor "trim trail", with exercise equipment dotted along a meandering path. For the children, there are numerous play parks with slides, climbing frames, see-saws and swings, including one just around the corner from the villa. Throughout the resort there are plenty of open, green areas, ideal for children to have a run around, as well as beautiful squares with fountain water features. There are often events put on for children both on the resort and on “El Boulevard" during school holidays.

Nearby Los Alcazares and Torre Pacheco both have a vast array of restaurants and bars to choose from, with Los Alcazares flanked by the picturesque and calm waters of the Mar Menor”. The resort is a short drive from the beaches of the Mar Menor and those of the Mediterranean, a little further up the coast. Nearby are the beautiful cities of Cartagena and Murcia, both well worth a visit. You will also find several large shopping centres within easy reach, for a little retail therapy.

The nearest airport is Murcia International (RMU), being about a 25-minute drive away. For a wider choice of flights, Alicante airport (ALC) is just under an hour away, with an easy drive, mainly via motorway.
