Vad kan vara bättre än en timmerstuga vid vattnet i bergen? Vårt rymliga hem ligger i vackra Shumont Estates, Lake Lure, North Carolina.

Den här fastigheten är på 3300 kvadratmeter och har fem sovrum, tre badrum (jacuzzi i master badet), ett fullt utrustat kök, en 55 "LED-TV med DVD-spelare och Netflix i bottenvåningen, 55" LED-TV med DVD spelare i övervåningen stora rummet, TV i både sovrummet och sovrummet på nedervåningen alla med DirecTV. 32 ”LED-TV-apparater med Roku (ingen kabel) i de andra övre sovrummen, WiFi i hela huset, tvättmaskin och torktumlare i full storlek och fyra brännarpropangasgrill på däck. Family wedding trip

We spent two night while attending a family wedding. We had a great time at the cabin and even enjoyed some yoga on the deck with the lovely mountain and lake view. As a group walked the neighborhood for exercise before heading to the wedding venue. It was a great stay

Peaceful Getaway

The property is beautiful. It was a very quiet, peaceful place to enjoy. The house is gorgeous and has a lot of space. This property offered so many different things to do such as kayaking on the private lake, being able to have access to Rumbling Bald resort with lots of activities, and a game room downstairs in case of rainy days. Hiking and water sports on Lake Lure were a short distance to drive. It offers a bit of everything

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location

Our family of ten ranging from 5-71 including two teens had a amazing time in Lake Lure. The cabin was well appointed and the accommodations were perfect for our family groups. The dining table with seating for many provided the perfect place for sharing meals and many lively card games. Mornings and late evenings with a cup of coffee on the porch were the best. We enjoyed the lake and fire pit area at the cabin and took advantage of many of the activities at the resort. The fireworks show was one of the best we have ever seen. Thanks for providing a place for another memorable family vacation.

Lovely Retreat

This log cabin is amazing! It has dock access to a small, quiet, private neighborhood lake. The wooded lot was beautiful. The house was very clean and had many small things we needed. The addition of membership to the pool and beach area at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure was an excellent amenity that we used often. Would stay here again!

Beautiful

Very beautiful and peaceful home located on a small lake. Plenty of room for everyone. We had a blast fishing, going out on the rowboat and it was very close to the resort. The resort was very nice as well. The guys went golfing at nearby courses. Thank you for sharing the home with us!

Peaceful and Family Friendly

We had an excellent stay at this home! It was quiet and peaceful and had all the things a family could need - from kayaks to board games, all ages enjoyed this home. A reasonable drive away from Chimney Rock/Lake Lure or Apple Valley if you’re looking to branch out but perfect if you’re looking to hunker down. We will absolutely stay again!

Mountain Birthday’s Celebration

Excellent location on quiet lakefront property. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Close to town for groceries and restaurants. Close to Rumbling Bald for amenities. Will stay again.

Fabulous Property

The property, layout, furnishings and appointments are all exceptional. We were in town for a wedding and unfortunately did not get to take advantage of all the amenities (fire pit, lake and watercraft and beautiful outdoor space). We did enjoy the fully equipped game room with ping pong and foosball. We had one slight issue with the door code as we could not access Wi-Fi to view the document provided by the homeowner. Next time we will have a hard copy.

Purely amazing!

Gorgeous home! Terrific location! Everything seemed “brand new”. Beds were unbelievably comfy. Spacious throughout! We would give 10 stars if we could!!! Spent 4 nights with fellow Veterans…reinforcing our Spiritual faith and relationship with Jesus! Awesome place!

Great cabin experience!

We absolutely loved the cabin on the little lake! Awesome that the Runbling Bald passes are included because you can literally do so many things there. The windy roads and mountain feel was just what we wanted. The host (Jason) was very responsive to all of our questions we had as well. Short drive to Asheville to explore around their too. Definitely recommend doing chimney rock to take hikes or see the flowering bridge and get some food/ beverages.

Amazing Vacation Home

We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Our kids asked if we could move there! Jason was easy to get in contact with, the house was beautiful and perfect for our group, and swimming off the dock in the lake was a blast. There's so much to do in the area- we can't wait to come back and enjoy it all over again.

Great Place!

Book it now! It's a wonderful cabin! Great location and amenities! The house was big, clean, and had everything we needed to have a great vacation! Passes to the resort were great. Kids loved the beach and all the pools, adults did as well. We will definitely be back again!

Great time together with family and friends

We have a wonderful stay during our week here! The house was big enough to accommodate separate families and we enjoyed spending time on the dock fishing, using the fire pit and and kayaking on the small lake. It was a short drive to Rumbling Bald and having access to all those amenities during 4th of July week was perfect.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property! It rained most of the week, but we still had a great time. The house was very clean and beautiful. We enjoyed the little lake, dock, kayaks, and ping pong table. The kitchen was well stocked, and we had no issues. There were 6 adults and 4 children, and we had plenty of room.

Fantastic Home & Get-Away

We loved our stay here, including the spacious log cabin home, deck with rocking chairs and morning sunlight, dock on the water for afternoon dips in the lake and the proximity and access to Rumbling Bald Resort. All in all, a really special place.
